I never write review’s but I’ve been coming here a little more often and will continue to come based solely on the fact that Mike is a great owner and guy! He has fair pricing on all his goods and runs events that are fun and on time. He seems to go above and beyond to make this place friendly and welcoming. Finally, the store has everything you would want/need if you’re into hobby board games, comics, painting/miniatures and TCGs of all kind! Definitely check it out!

Mike's Comics is a treasure trove for all things Dungeons & Dragons. Their selection of D&D sourcebooks, miniatures, and accessories caters perfectly to my gaming needs. What a nice shop! Mike will greet you when you walk in, and will happily show you around. There are a lot of tabletop board games - a wide selection of very cool titles. He has a nice selection of RPG items, too. I'm not a comic guy, but that section of the shop is large and looks great. There is a comfortable area, too, for dicemasters/magic the gathering. Mike is always helpful with a suggestion. Love this place and can't wait to visit again.

Best comics place in all of metro Detroit owner is knowledgeable, friendly and a great conversationalist. I bet it'd be a good place to hang and play games as the game room is large I have never but I would bet it's a good time

I've been coming to Mike's for almost 20 years now. In that time I've never met a nicer shop owner. I miss the game days back in the old shop. If you've ever though about picking up tabletop gaming or just need some comics to pick up then Mike's is worth a visit.

One time, I saw Mike slay a gnoll with his bare hands. Another time, he had a bunch of obscure game pieces that I couldn't find anywhere else. Then another time, I watched him summon an Aspect of Cthulhu just to make it fetch him popcorn.Seriously though, hands down the friendliest and most welcoming place in the business. He takes care of his customers and stocks a lot of books, board games and cards. If you're ever on this side of town stop in and give his place a visit.

This shop was great!. The trades and collected editions we're plentiful. I've been reading trades and hardcovers exclusively for over 5 years and still found like 5 items I didn't have in my collection yet. There was also a large game section but sadly don't table top game often. The only thing missing was some more comic related collectibles.

My first time going to the new location. I was disappointed they don't have any back issues anymore. They seem to be geared more towards table top games and collectables now. There's nothing wrong with that just not what I'm looking for as a comic collector. Nice layout and lots of cool stuff though. If you're in the area and looking for new comics or games/collectables definitely check it out. I hear they have very active game nights. Just don't expect to find that rare holy grail in comics.

Mike is such a nice guy! While the shop might be small, it makes up for it in friendliness. My husband and I felt super welcome and grabbed some great comics. Mike even ordered something we asked about. Will definitely be back.

This is my Favorite comic shop, local, family friendly, and if I can't make it in on time of new releases, Mike knows my usual books and holds them for me. If you are looking for games, minis, and D&D books you will find them here.Also they do MTG, Game Nights and sometimes mini painting sessions.

Mike's Comics sells much more than just comics, it has board games, miniatures, rule books, trading cards, and yes, plenty of comics. But it's so much more than a store, Mike hosts plenty of sponsored events for different trading card games, he hosts Dungeons and Dragons, plenty of room on tables for any other game you could want to play. Mike personally greets every customer who walks through his door and even hosts a monthly Game Day for anyone and everyone to come in and play a wide assortment of games. Mike has made me feel welcome and has always fostered a positive environment for all ages and I know he will continue to do so.

This longtime comic and games shop is well-stocked, has ample space for game nights, and the clientele are friendly. The owner, Mike, is knowledgeable about the stock and answers questions well. His recommendations are spot on for my family gifts. The "new" location is nice, too.

Been going here since I was in middle school and I always enjoy my time here. Mike is very nice and knowledgeable about a lot of subjects of both current comics and many, many board games! There is weekly MTG Friday Night Magic and once a month he hosts a Game Day where its ALL day of fun and games for all ages! The shop may be small and limited by it's size, but Mike will always order whatever you are looking for if it's in his power to.

Mikes is great I love going there and meeting new people who share my interests and even introduce me to new things. Mike helps a lot for people who are new to games and gives a fun place for people to just hang out and enjoy themselves. He can usually find things for you or get them if he doesnt have them already. Most people I have meet there are very chill and relaxed which is great for my anxiety. All in all I'm glad I started going more frequently so I can stop being a hermit.

I go here often to look at things that are different than other gaming stores. Has a pretty good selection of bones and Nolzur products. A smaller store, but has a packed store. Let's me spend time looking without pushing me out. Helpful as well.

Great place to play games, buy comics, paintable figures and more! Mike is always helpful when you have questions, very friendly, and creates a great atmosphere to hang out. I visit at least once a month, but wish I could go and hang out every week for Friday Night Magic!

It's so fun to get lost in another world upon entering Mike's Comics. Mike is super friendly and knowledgeable about everything offered. If comics aren't your jam, go in to check out all the unique awesome games, you can even try some before you buy back in the game room. Guaranteed fun for all ages! Bring home something new and different for friends and family to enjoy, they make great birthday or Christmas gifts! Game nights are a great way to meet people and escape from the stresses of life. If you haven't checked it out, be sure to stop in.

Great store! Great selection of comics! The big problem with a lot of comic shops is that they are cramped, unorganized, and just all around uninviting. But, the new location for Mike's solves all these problems. It's very spacious and neat. It's really easy to find what you're looking for. I recommend!

I have been a regular at this shop for 16 years now. Mike has always been upfront and honest about every product and knows exactly what to suggest I look at. I bring everyone with any comic or game interest to this store because I know they will leave with what they wanted as well as a new place to bring all their future needs.

Great selection, great store. Mike is honestly the nicest guy on the planet. He'll order literally anything you want, if he doesn't have it. He knows a lot about all the games and products he sells.This place is great, Mike is great, FNM is great. Check it out!

Always a good selection of comics, games, minis, and paints on hand. If you need a comic ordered or some held if you can't make it in the day of new releases the owner will pull stuff aside for you and he remembers his regulars. Family friendly business and I love the dog. ^_^
