This place is a "candy shop" for quilters! This is a gem hidden in the U.P. for sewing. They're knowledgeable about machines ANd projects. Their website is amazing, too! I've taken many classes here, and I'll definitely be back for more. :)

This is the best BERNINA dealer and quilt shop. If you ever get a chance to stop and visit, do it. Rick and Pam are the owners and customer service and satisfaction is a priority. When buying a machine from them, I have 4, they make sure that you know how everything works and all that it can do. If something comes up that Pam is unsure of, she will find the answer and get back to you within a day or two. Loads of classes you can take. Mastery classes, sewing, quilting, embroidery, serging, software, long arm and Pam will even do specific classes if enough people are interested. I have met so many wonderful people and learned so much since the first day I walked into the shop. I have a Q24 on a frame and Rick will make sure it is set up correctly. He is a perfectionist. He is also certified to work on your BERNINA machines. All the girls that work there, Julie, Connie, Jess and Holly are the sweetest. When you walk-in the store they are very welcoming. You become a part of the BERNINA family. Tons of fabric also. Impossible to leave empty handed.

Pam and her staff are wonderful!! They are very dedicated to customer service and education. I bought a machine from Pam last Fall and have really been enjoying learning new techniques and how to use my machine. I have taken several classes and have learned a lot about my new machine. Everyone is more than willing to help in anyway and only a phone call away if you need help when at home. The shop is absolutely beautiful. Very organized and well stocked with fabrics and any supplies you will need. This is an amazing quilt shop! I am looking forward to future classes and visits to the shop!

I finally made it in. It's easier to see from Hwy 41 when one is heading east because of the large barn quilt hanging from one of the buildings. However, when traveling west, especially with the snow banks, it's easy to miss this gem. My new landmark now, when traveling west, is to turn left just past the Fire Station Cannabis shop on the north side of the road, a bright red building. I also didn't realize it was so far back, so just keep driving to the end of the drive. It's not the building with the barn quilt, as I first assumed.Ah, now you're in. Exhale and take in all the colors as you are greeted by the friendly staff. They have multiple rooms of fabric, a room for classes, and there was a long arm quilting machine in operation while I was there. It's certainly worth the adventure and will inspire your imagination.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had with Pam at Time Flies and Sew. I purchased an applique quilt kit from her last year, just completed it this year, and she was so helpful on the phone while placing my order. Very efficient getting it sent to me. I recently sent it to her for custom quilting and I couldn't be happier! She did an excellent job; somehow she knew exactly what I wanted design-wise. She finished the quilt in a very short period of time and again was efficient on getting it back to me. I would definitely recommend Pam's custom quilting. She is an expert.

They are all very knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of quilting.They offer Kimberbell classes which I have attended and each time I learn something new. They offer classes for kids, making bags, rugs you name it and they probably offer a class on it!I consider them my friends and you will too.They also sell Bernina, Bernette and long arm sewing machines along with sewing furniture so look no further they have you covered!!

I just attended a 3-day Bernina Boot Camp at Pam’s shop, taught by Sylvain Bergeron. I have never had so much fun and laughter while learning so much! Sylvain was a delight! I now have a great base of knowledge to start sewing on my brand new Bernina! Everyone at this shop is friendly and helpful. Time Flies Quilt & Sew is a treasure!

A very nice, tidy quilt shop. Lots to choose from. The one downside is that they didn’t have many individual precut fat quarters and the lady said she could cut a few but not as many as I was wishing because it takes a lot of time to cut fat quarters. It was fine, I just wish they would have precut fat quarters then if they don’t really want to cut them for you. Overall, a beautiful quilt store & I will return!

I purchased an APQS Millie long arm from Pam last November. Due to the distance we traveled, I delayed my free class during the winter months ...then Covid hit. So, finally yesterday I was able to receive my long-awaited instructions. Since I have owned a long arm for a while, Pam was very helpful in supplying information to fill the gaps in my experience and provide information/suggestions that I lacked. She provided both instructional discussion and hands-on opportunity. I felt the instructions she provided met me at my skill level and therefore I would say is, no doubt, customized to each person's ability. Pam was very attuned to answering my questions and clearing up any confusion I had, and I came away with a new found confidence that, with practice, I will grow in my long arming abilities. Thank you, Pam, for making me feel so comfortable and providing a fun day of quilting! (P.S. My name is Pat--This post is under my husband's name!)
