A step back in history! The building is interesting enough to make a trip to see! The baskets on a pulley system date back to probably the 1920's? The antiques that are here on consignment are very interesting and a very good variety. Everything from books to cast iron skillets and glassware make this a great ace to browse or shop.

Super cool old department store building. Still has the overhead baskets along the ceiling that were used to send the sales receipts to the elevated office. Great antique store in a truly historical setting. Lots of interesting things for sale. We never miss a stop here when in the area and always come away with some great finds. There in also a lot to see and do in this little town.

Three floors of antiques and collectibles! We ventured in on a cloudy, cold day of our vacation and spent hours browsing. Good thing we rented a mini-van, because the prices were right and between Lowenstein's and their other shop across the street, we filled it with antiques! Daryll, one of the owners, was super nice and even told us about an estate sale in the next area we were visiting! This will be one of our regular stops on our UP trips! Make sure you have plenty of time!!

Great antique store...a great place to spend hours in searching for true treasures. Fun to see all of the items from the past. Staff is helpful and knows exactly where in their building is the item you are wanting.
