I had a pretty positive experience inside the store itself. I went there to abopt a parakeet so my parakeet at home has a friend. My complaint is the fact that the wings of my new budgie have been clipped. Not only does this completely defeat the purpose of them being birds, but it's also very dangerous for the bird in general. If my bird was ever in a situation where he needs to get away quickly, he won't be able to because he's stuck on the ground

Took granddaughter for her birthday gift. She wanted a frog or turtle and yet again there were none even tho their app said that they were in stock...she settled for a Betta and I will get her frog somewhere other than here now ..was 4th time we went and didn't have what they said they did.

This is the first negative Google review I have ever written but I am so upset about the way my dog was groomed. I have a Havanese who went in for a trim and I don’t know what they did to him but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. The hair on his ears is supposed to stay long and they completely shaved it off and he looks ridiculous. I almost cried when I saw him.

I recently visited PetSmart with my 2 little grandchildren, Nate 7 & Layla 5. We entered with our list of what their 2 new dwarf frogs would need to live at my home (meme's). We also entered with an expectation of spending maybe 40 at the very most $50 and I forget to mention a whole slew of questions. We came into contact with the younger associate beautiful blonde haired girl with a smile on her face helping other customers and ask her if she'd be able to assist us when she was free. We waited patiently as I remind the kids not to look with their hands, noticing the prices on the items at the pet store. When she was free and some of the other customers she came over to us this smile on her face all bubbly and asked us what we needed when we be in the shower our list it was clear to me that it was going to come too much much more than 40 or $50 she got into this fast. Help me look for the best prices with the best quality of items they had that I needed. I would say this young woman spent probably a total of an hour and 15 minutes with us her being much more patient than I with the children I wanted to give a shout out to this young girl by the name of Monterey never heard that name but I think it is absolutely beautiful and tell her managers and federal employees you are blessed to be working with her she's a true tribute to your store and your company I hope she can climb the ladder and do much more withdoing well thank you Brenda Nate & Layla

PetSmart is the only pet store in my town that carries the brand of food my pet needs and loves. ProPlan Sensitive Skin And Stomach, chicken entree flavor. So not only do they carry it, but it's always in stock and they have the exact flavor my cat prefers. They carry a ton of ProPlan wet food options as well as in the dry food.

I have a 4 month old puppy and I filled out a form at Petsmart in muskegon over two weeks ago. I wanted to talk to the trainer to see what class would be best. I waited a week and no call or email. So I stopped in a week later I filled out another one and asked to be contacted. And the funny part is the slip I filled out a week ago was still in the box. So now over two weeks have gone by with no attempt to contact me. But wait it's gets even better. I was on the area today and I just stopped in to look in the box you put the slips in and guss what? Are you ready for it both of my slips and other people's from overtwo weeks were still in there. I'm guessing they don't want to help train people's pets.

I took my cat here to get groomed. Sandra was amazing with her. Even though I was a mess, Kiko seemed just fine. I got more than my moneys worth considering it was a big ask. Kiko acts like her old self again, and I can’t be more grateful. I’d take either of my cats back to her in a heartbeat.

My dog went for her first appointment and got scared with other dogs there barking at her. The staff was so nice and friendly and offered me an appointment where not other dogs would be there so that we could have her groomed. The groomer Ashley was so kind with me and very patient and nice with my dog. It all worked out great and my dog looks and smells fantastic! I am so glad it all worked out and that everyone did what they could to help my puppy!

Stopped in to have my husky's nails clipped. Went to pay, walked back in to see my dog struggling, falling off the table. I told the girls multiple times you have to hold her and put a mussel on her before she went back. like most husky's they do not like their feet touched. I had to walk back and un hook my dog from the two leashes that was holding her up, walk her out only having a paw and a half done. Went to the grooming room and had no issues.The grooming staff is un experienced, and would hope that no one would let there dog suffer hanging from two leashes.

This is my go to spot for Crickets, Mealworms and just anything I need for my grumpy boy.Every time I've gone in the employees are very kind, my Grandmother has gone in by herself on occasion to get crickets if I am unable to get here.The images were taken at home obviously, but my grumpy child is very happy to have his crickets when he gets them.

The Sherman location had almost nothing, and the prices were way too high. The one by the mall was way better stocked with different varieties. But still, 300$ for a ferret. Just wow.

Pretty standard pet store nothing crazy, the fish tanks are a little overstocked at times but not terribly. The employees are always helpful and can direct you if you're looking for a specific item

The staff is friendly and willing to help, even if it's not their "section".Plenty of parking and the orders for pickup are always ready and texts are sent asap.The prices are what you'd expect for a national chain pet store. And a lot of things are cheaper on A...... But they don't sell crickets and worms.My store is on E. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI

BAiR and I 💕 love PetSmart. When it is too Hot/Cold to go for a walk outside PetSmart is the best place to go. You can walk around with your animal as long as you would like. They are reasonably priced. There is a dog salon inside. It has all your animal needs.

The store was well stocked. The only thing was all 3 of the staff we interacted with seemed like they were too busy to deal with us. They didn't have time And were short with all the questions we asked. They referred us to flyers and online websites versus actually taking the time to explain things to us. As we were looking into getting a new pet for our family a little bit of personal time would have been appreciated.

Even though the grooming department was closing early they still welcomed my pup in for a quick nail trim. They provide walk in nail clippings for 12 or 15.00 can't remember which. Usually were in and out within 15 minutes. But a little longer is sometimes needed depending on their scheduled appointments.

This was the first time we've been to this store. We always go to the one closer to us. But for whatever reason this is the only place that carries female guinea pigs and we needed a cage mate for one of our girls. I wish I could have got his name but the guy we worked with needs a raise. He was totally amazing. We're experienced with piggies so we know what's what but he was amazing. So knowledgeable, compassionate, and sweet to the animals, knew his facts and even had some gp of his own!! He was a delight to work with and the store was in pretty good shape as well. Found everything we needed and headed out for the track home. Would for sure go back and shop there again. Cashier was a little..... not friendly or so it seemed but she had a line of people so I don't blame her. All in all great experience and we love our little addition!

I have been using a groomer there for about 6 yrs and would rate her a 5 but she is off on leave so I chose another groomer last time and was satisfied so I choose her again. When I brought my dog in she was not there and was assigned another who did not do a very good job. The dog was still dirty and the cut was really ragged, different lengths all over and her face didn’t look like it was cut at all. I’ll be looking for a new groomer.

Kaitlyn and Haileigh groomed my two dogs today - a Poodle and a Shitzu. Both dogs looked great. They did a really good job. We are very pleased with the outcome. We will be back.

They DO NOT quarantine their fish! I was lied to by an associate and told they did. Funny how I got 3 fish from here and it killed all my fish that I’ve had for years over a 2 week period. I call up there and they tell me no, they don’t quarantine😭😭 Go to Water Colors Aquarium in Grand Rapids instead. I promise you it’s worth the drive. They are very knowledgeable and quarantine ALL fish, no exceptions! They will even order the fish you want if they don’t have them in stock.
