Brought a husqvarna weedeater, went to return 2 days later and they wouldn't take it back. I put gas in it to use it and it was very hard to start. The store also tried starting it and had a difficult time. But it eventually started and they said it works so they won't return it. Very dissatisfied and will never buy anything from them again.

Got all the mulch I needed, everything is always clean and Everyone is always helpful. Carts in the garden center were fully stocked, and I had the most wonderful checkout lady ever, Penny in The Garden Center is a delight to talk to could definitely have a cup of coffee with her help me out and watched my cart while I got some more stuff thank you again

Menards has so much to offer. Hardware lighting some food items.They have a 11 % sale often. Which is a great deal.My husband and I shop here a few times a month.

I'm very displeased, with Menards for a number of years.But this did it. Purchase some idols pay in cash.was given a merchandise credit the trick is you can't receive cash back unless you say so, storesat least give 30 days not Menards and service is terrible.also they need more diversity in customer service and the store that. Get with the program Michigan and grow up.

I normally visit stores early when they open to avoid the crowd and all the noise, well I recently was at this Menards and I walked in 2 minutes after opening, went to the aisle to look for what I need and within a few minutes of shopping I hear an engine start and there is a guy with a floor scrubber coming right at me. He didn’t choose a different aisle to start in, no he had to choose the middle one where I was looking at fittings and then when he got close to me, he nearly hit me making me move out of his way. This is the type of thing that should be done AFTER business hours, NOT during. I do not like being almost run over by a floor scrubber or the smell of the exhaust, (I know it’s propane, but it still smells) or the noise of an engine running right next to me while trying to shop. I am very disappointed, not only that but I have also been becoming increasingly disappointed lately with the lack of certain items in stock here when Lowes just down the road has these items in stock. This event pretty much was the final straw and the reason for the review, I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. At least at Lowes maybe I can find what I am looking for without being nearly hit with a floor scrubber or listening to it or smelling it.

You get what you pay for - that also goes for the prices. The products are decently priced, but I feel like where they fall short more times than not is customer service. I wanted to do a custom sized closet bifold door - with dimensions in hand - but the door representative felt it was more important to set a lock set than help a customer. That’s too bad. I don’t know why I expect a better experience each time I try there.11.25.2022Menards ran out of carts so they placed garbage bins next to the cart area. I used one for a cart - got to the line and was told by the cashier and manager that it was policy that I HAD to purchase the garbage bin because it went through the line. I said did not want to purchase it - they said they would void my whole order unless I purchased it and then I can return it later. I asked where was it posted it’s policy and they couldn’t provide in writing that it was policy. I asked a different customer service person and they said they only put the garbage bins there during black Friday. I’ve attached a photo showing no posting that it’s a requirement to purchase the bin. No posting - false policy statements.

Menards has a great selection if things you will need for any home improvement. They have friendly staff. Sometimes the inventory is off, way off. I was looking for an item. The inventory on the website and in their computer showed they had 12, they didn’t have any on the shelf. They didn’t bother to look other places, for it or to see if they had back stock. But at this point, it wasn’t that big of a deal. But beware of the issues that may arise from their inventory being off.

Went to the lumber yard to work on a project, system said there was 9 boards available for me to pick up, when I went to grab them I was shocked to find 13 and I needed 12. Awesome so I grabbed 12 and let the lady know to ring me up for the three extra. Not allowed! Told me to go online to make a new ticket, how am I suppose to do that when the system thinks there are only 9. Can’t buy the material for my project because they can’t do their job.

Went to get a lawn mower and asked 4 people to help get the mower we wanted and each one said they were too busy and one just blew us off and said he was going on break. I’m sure it was super busy and everyone needs so much but there was no resolution and each time was handled awfully. “I’m assisting this customer I will be right with you” goes a long way. After calling to talk to someone I was hoping she would say sorry we can for sure find someone to help you but she ended up just saying “Yup thank you.” So we ended up going to harbor freight. I normally do not write reviews and if I do it’s normally good or positive but that customer service was awful. I’m sure this is a great place to go normally but I’m writing to just share my experience and hope the garden center gets to see this as an opportunity to do better.

I picked up what was supposed to be a curbside order around 4:30 PM today. I use curbside because I have pain in my lower legs that sometimes makes it difficult to walk. Order pickup wasn't busy, but I still had to call the store twice to get someone to answer the phone. The kid was rude and told me to come inside to pick up the order. I went in the Order Pickup doors, only to find him standing behind the desk and doing nothing. He was too lazy to walk a few feet extra out to my car to bring my order to me. Why do I have to pay an extra fee for a service that I didn't receive? This location is consistently getting worse with customer service. During the times that I've been able to handle walking into the store and finding what I need in person, the cashiers are always slow and rude at the Muskegon location. I've shopped at the stores in Holland and in Port Huron when I lived in those areas, and I've never seen bad service at those stores like I've seen in Muskegon. Pay the extra dollar or two and shop at Home Depot, where you will get excellent service and helpful staff. The employees at the Muskegon Menards location could care less about being helpful, and the management does nothing about it. They really should close this location and refer shoppers to the Holland or Grand Rapids stores.

This is my 2nd time leaving Menards feeling less important than a man. I waited for an associate to finish up with a man to ask a question, to be told he was too busy helping someone else. When I ventured down an isle in the opposite direction this associate was walking around doing nothing! When he seen me he turned and walked away againNot a good practice to carryHave to say I did not walk away from my cart, even though I usually do just that. Instead I purchased items already in my cart and still left $80 spent. Imagine what my dollar amount could have been….Thank you for reading my comments and please correct this issue

Recently purchased a gas grill at Menards that was advertised for $139.99, however when we ran it up at the cash register it came up at $179.99. Fortunately a Cashier named Gaberielle was able to confirm that the actual sales price was $139.99 and we were able to purchase the grill. The sales associate that we dealt with was very helpful and around the holiday truly made the difference. Thank you Gaberielle!!!!

Needed more paint! Yay ! Everyone was helpful and nice. The young guy who helped me before helped me save $45. Yup love this store! I have a home depot store 2 blocks from my house, but I will drive 4 miles to Menard any day.

I give five stars to Bob that works in the mornings he's an outstanding worker. white old lady with white hair; cashier, she's evil - you should fire her even though she likes to give brownie points just with the employees not with the customers. All she did was give me dirty looks. God sees you evil woman. She making lies that I was loitering. No evil woman, I pay your bills with my money that I spend at the store yoy shouldn't be working at. I will call and leave a complaint.

Employees are not knowledgeable about products or procedure. They are not friendly or helpful. I've lost so much time out of my days by shopping here. It's a great place for older people to mosey around when all they need is dog food but don't want to go home right away but not meant for contractors. I will drive across town to Lowe's or Home Depot.

I always enjoy shopping at Menards tonight the cashier is friendly with the smile. Although I would say it's my fault just before I'm exiting out I noticed that the batteries I pick up to buy was underneath my purse also one of the air freshener drop off under the child sit of the cart so of course I went back inside go line up to the check out and told the same cashier that check me out and told her that the batteries and the air freshener wasn't added to my my list that I already paid for. She was very grateful about it and glad that I went back inside and paid the item that it wasn't added to my list. Thank you!
