Husband and I visited last September for our anniversary and the tasting was great! The gentleman was very helpful and knew his stuff! I ended up buying 6 bottles total, 4 of Happy Place because it was the best wine I've had yet! I ended up giving a bottle to my mother who said it was sour and bitter (which is the complete opposite of what it really is) and so I opened one of my bottles...same, it was very sour and bitter. I believe I purchased a bad batch as I look at the remaining 2 bottles and there is so much sediment floating throughout the bottle. (See attached pictures) I've called multiple times with no answer and so now I'm trying to reach out and have these 2 bottles replaced. Please let me know how to proceed with a solution.Many thanks!10-30-23Hello, I sent these back on 10-2 and shiw they were delivered on 10-4. I don't have social media and so when I Google the business it states temporarily closed. Because I paid for this, can you please advise that these bottles were received and I had new bottles coming?Thank you.

This was fun! Such nice people working there!! You get to pick out a sovereign glass with your wine tasting. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Lots of wine and other alcohol options for sale. Very cute gift shop as well. Definitely worth the stop!

My most favorite drinking experience on my first trip to munising. The ladies working here are sweet, and fun to talk to. It's a great place to get some Togo beer for your trip, and try some local wines.You get to keep the glass you choose with your samples. 3 samples for 6 dollars.It was an awesome experience. It made my July 4th. Thank you so much.

To be honest, I had reservations about this wine tasting considering the location (U.P.) and that it's not actually a winery. I was so very wrong! Some great wines and our server (didn't catch his name) did an excellent job. The price for the tasting & glass was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend

Absolutely sweet deal for wine tasting - 6 bucks gets you a novelty glass to keep, a taste of 3 wines of your choosing, some oyster Crackers, and a surprise candy at the end. All wines are from local UP wineries, which is awesome. Lots of other local goods in the shop. I ended up taking 2 bottles home - the St. Pepin white and the Leon Millot red, both from Northern Sun Winery. Come here for a mini pregame before your next stop.

Wine tasting and gift shopWhat's better then shopping and trying local wines... Not much!!!Family owned and excellent wine knowledge and service! We make sure we stop in every year to stock up on a couple of case of different local wines for the year. They also showcase local artists in the gift shop. Great place to stop and enjoy!

Such a friendly environment and the wines were all amazing. Chris made sure my friends and I all had a great time and she was such a fun person to talk with. Will definitely be adding this to my favorites and will plan a trip back again!

Awesome little spot in Munising. The owner was a very knowledgable man with a decent palate of Yooper wines. May not be the best spot for someone used to California or French wines, but I highly recommend giving it a try! The wines were surprisingly good and the folks up here seem to be starting to figure out how to make wines work in an unfamiliar place such as Michigan.As an aside, the mead was great!

My wife and I stopped here during our UP vacation in early June. We always love to visit and try local spirits, wine and beer. They run a nice establishment with a variety of gifts, bourbon, wines of Michigan and, most importantly in early June, mosquito nets! 🤣. We bought a handful of bottles after sampling a variety of them. Have a visit!

They have their own wines to sample and some from other wineries all from the area. Some are remarkable and unique. You can get souvenirs and candy made in Michigan there too. They have a great selection of spirits, most from all over Michigan.

We had a great time! Heidi was fantastic and my wife keeps saying she was the best part of the short time we were in town. Heidi was one of the best wine tasting specialists we have had anywhere. Super friendly, knowledgeable and also worked for the boat tour we were going on. All in all a wonderful experience. My wife already wants to go back just to get more wine!!!

Tons of fun. My wife and I saw a wine tasting sign and had to wander in. The person who helped us (didn’t get his name) was awesome and took a lot of time to let us taste several wines together. For $6 we got a souvenir glass and a few different wines to try between the two of us. Completely random stop for us but glad we did it! Best $6 I could have spent!

Stopped in with my daughters and we had the best time. Very knowledgeable about Michigan wineries and the shop itself had a great selection of beer/liquor for great prices. We ended up with a case of wine and better memories of our time there. We will go again!

Great selection of wine to try that was made in the upper peninsula. Staff was very knowledgeable about the wine and helped select the samples based on our preference and feedback. As part of the tasting you could keep the glass which included different options. Would highly recommend stopping in if you are in Munising.On top of wine they also have other UP products like chocolate, cheese and beer to buy.

Amazing experience! We were lucky enough to get to do a wine tasting on their first day being open this year! INCREDIBLE people! You get to take home a cute new wine glass after the wine tasting and end the experience with a taste of chocolate. Bought a yummy wine AND some UP beer that can only be found North of Traverse city. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience at this small winery! If you do the wine tasting you get three different selections and get to keep the wine glass as well- all of this is $6 which is a fantastic price. The wine was very good and there were also lots of local beers for purchase. The staff was so friendly and amazing, would definitely recommend!

This store is a wonderful find. The store has unique local products and helpful friendly staff. The best part is the wine tasting. For a very low price you get to taste some delicious local wines and keep a commemorative glass. Definitely a must do in Munising!

A cute, little place for you to purchase some wines or cold beers. My boyfriend and I had our first wine tasting here and we had a fun time trying out some unique flavors: you get to keep the glass you choose to try the wines which is a plus! Ended up buying two bottles of wine and now we have glasses to remember the experience! Have fun!
