Had a wonderful time touring Pictured Rocks with my teenagers. Did an all day rental. Boats are clean and well maintained. Pricing was reasonable- you can bring a cooler on board, stop at several beaches, and take your time seeing the beautiful landscape. Had a lovely day- it was the highlight of our trip!

What an awesome way to visit Pictured Rocks. Your boats are fine but renting a boat and looking at your own pace was amazing! The staff was awesome! They even let me move the rental up a day because the weather looked better. The boat was so clean and comfortable. They even send you out with bug protection and if you don't use it they don't charge you for it but it was better to be safe than sorry. Renting a boat also lets you go up on a few beaches and explore. Awesome is an understatement.

rented a 22ft. pontoon from Seaberg this weekend to take out with a group of friends. price was reasonable split between 8 adults and there was plenty of room on the boat, even our pup got to join. staff at Seaberg was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. was a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone!

My wife and two dogs had an amazing time! The staff was awesome and provided us with everything we needed, including detailed instructions on where to go. I highly recommend vs. kayaks. You get to see the Pictured Rocks at your own pace in comfort. Nothing against kayakers (I'm one myself), but cruising at your own speed, not being a part of the group, you just can't beat. For 4.5 hours plus the cost of fuel and tip, it was $240. Can't beat it!

Can't wait to go again!! We had the best time, even though it happened to be chilly/misty, it was so fun. All the people at Seaberg were super nice, they had carts to get our stuff from the car to the boat. They showed my husband how to drive it (first time!). The boat was very clean and comfortable and had a canopy for shade. The rate was great and was less than forty dollars for gas for a half day trip. We are for sure doing this again the next time we're in town!

These people are wonderful! They literally saved our vacation. We had originally chartered a pontoon with a professional captain because we were afraid to take a pontoon on Lake Superior. That fell through so we went in search of another experienced captain to take us out for the day. That's when we found the fine folks at Seaberg. He reassured us how easy it is to captain the boat - as long as it is a calm day. And they won't let you take the boat out if it isn't calm. He took us out in the harbor and taught my daughter how to captain the boat. Turns out it was really easy. We spent a lovely day visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, took a million pictures and truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Seaberg for a wonderful day!

Friendly staff that made the whole process easy and efficient. We were on the boat at our scheduled time because they were ready for us and went through the process quickly. Great instructions, great map, good insider tips about where to go and where to stop and swim. Clean boat. Excellent day. Don't regret a penny of spending about $400 for the 2 of us (gas for our half day excursion was a little over $60).

Very friendly staff. Family business. It wasn’t busy so they upgraded us to a tri-toon for no additional cost. I appreciated the additional stability and room on the boat for all 9 of us. They also allowed us to come early so we got there at 1 instead of 3pm. They communicated several times through email the day before and day of regarding weather, options and availability. It was great. And their dog, Axel helped pull the boat end when we docked!! All around a fantastic experience!

Seaberg Pontoon Rental and "SPONTANEOUS RESCUE SERVICE" totally ROCK!. ...as it happened, I ended up being a 'Damsel in (Dire) Distress' while Kayaking in Munising when the keen eye of the owner of Seaberg Pontoon Rentals happened to notice and insisted on a wellness check. Dehydrated, over-heated, quite stiff, shaky and on the verge of exhaustion, they then hauled me and my Kayak out of the water, re-hydrated me, and ferried us safely back to where my vehicle was located. Oh, Happiest of Days!!! ...FOREVER grateful to ALL the wonderful and caring people on board!

We booked a full day tour and had the most amazing time ever. From start to finish the Seaberg team was excellent. Checking in, giving us detailed maps and directions, guiding my husband to fishing areas, excellent directions on boat handling all with a great attitude and friendly family atmosphere. The boat we got was beautiful and all of the boats in their fleet looked the same. The pontoon was clean, easy to handle, spacious and had tons of storage. We were able to take our own tour of the pictured rocks and grand island, stopping at multiple beautiful beaches along the way. Seaberg even guided us to an awesome underwater shipwreck you can see from the boat! I highly recommend this company and this experience!

Staff was super friendly and nice. Gave great instructions and tips before leaving. The pontoon was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It gets cold when you’re out on the water so definitely bring a jacket. Also be prepared to pay for gas at the end as well.

Can’t recommend this place enough! The staff are all so kind and very helpful. My boyfriend and I took our pup on a half day trip and had a blast. Neither of us are experienced boaters, but we felt comfortable after we were given a rundown of everything. They also provided us with a detailed map and suggested itinerary. We followed it and thought it covered the highlights while still leaving us plenty of time to stop and enjoy one of the gorgeous beaches along the way. After experiencing Pictured Rocks for the first time on a pontoon, I think I’ll forever recommend this is the way to do it. Kayaking certainly looked fun, but we felt like we got to see so much more on the boat. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and rent a boat from Seaberg’s!

We had a pontoon reserved a week ago on our Vacation to Munising and unfortunately several of the days were rainy, chilly and windy. The first day I called the morning of our reservation and asked to change and they were very nice and did so but unfortunately the day we switched to had very high winds and the boats were not going out. They sent me a text and phoned to see if wanted a rebate or change my day. This company was very nice and communication was great. We will definitely try again next year but will go no where else but here. Fantastic customer service.

Was a horrible time. Had really bad fog couldn't see. My wife no longer wants to go on a boat ever again. We were both scared as heck. No one came to get us. Wish I could have seen picture rock. We drove from grand rapids planned our trip around it and got ruined!!!

Very accommodating and easy to deal with. They got us out on the water quickly with good directions. The boats are very nice and up to date. They were waiting for us on the dock when we returned and had a wagon waiting for all of our gear.This was an awesome way to spend a day taking in the sights with friends and family. There are several places to stop, swim, explore, and jump off rocks.We would definitely rent from Seaberg again.

I came with my family and two dogs in August 2019. They were so helpful. The weather was cool and the waves were a little high for the day. The owner reduced our rate and told us where the safe areas were for the day. Although the weather wasn't perfect, the staff made the day the best they could. They are very pet friendly and family friendly. I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone looking for a rental. They will take care of you.

We rented a pontoon for the full day, it was honestly one of the best times my family and I have ever had! Everyone was super friendly and helpful at Seaberg and had us off on the water in no time.We explored all the way around Grand Island and even got to float right over the shipwreck Bermuda in Murray's Bay which was definitely a highlight for all. Then on to the Pictured Rocks, just stunning and wonderful to explore at your own pace. You can even land right on most of the beaches so the kids can play and explore.Don't waste your time on the big boat tours of pictures rocks, I've done both and there is no comparison, spend the extra money and make it memorable.I made a reservation 2 days out and we were blessed with perfect weather and calm water. The cost was $325 plus fuel for 11 hours, we stayed out for about 9 hours and the total was $373. Sounds like a lot, but it was honestly some of the best money I've ever spent. Big memories for the whole family!I've posted some of the photos from our trip here as well.

We had a great time! We didn't know there would be a pop-up privacy curtain for using the bathroom or changing clothes on the pontoon. That was a very nice touch. Pictured rocks and Grand Island are a beautiful part of Upper Michigan and are well worth experiencingThe ONLY downside was, we didn't expect the gas to be an extra charge.
