We had stopped at the last minute to pick up wrapping paper and also to look for bows or bow ties and believe it or not they had a section with barrettes and hair items... so it was perfect because I needed the bows to go on top of the Mini Mouse cake that I made for my granddaughters first birthday party. The store looked clean. It was the first time I had ever been in that store. People were nice. Self check-out available.

Not my favorite store. The recent ownership transition has resulted mainly in an increased emphasis on selling alcoholic beverages. The food is just along for the ride. The meat department does not inspire confidence. I shop here only because it is the only grocery store in town. If I happen to be in Mano or Marquette, I will shop there instead.

Prices are outrage. Example , for the price of 2 loaves of their cheapest white bread , I can get 5 loaves of better white or wheat for the same amount of money at Aldi's.

Excellent service, fairly priced items, and I was in and out in 2 minutes. Very good place to buy groceries.

I don't know what you would do without him. 'Connor' is the nicest, polite, professional employee there can possibly be! Always smiling and just a pleasure to talk to while getting groceries together. If there was an Employee-of-the-Month at Pat's, he would win every month! Don't lose him!!

Well stocked store although there bakery department is a bit scarce. Prices comparable to those I see in larger chain stores in the Detroit area.

It was nice to finally see a grocery store for the first time in the UP.😳I haven't seen fresh vegetables 🥦 in weeks....Ginormous selection of beer🍺 and wine!🍷 It looks like they got their delivery for the entire summer season all at once.😱The beer is in a huge walk-in refrigerator, reminds me of Costco.

Somewhat confusing, as the outside shows "Family Fare", which online shows permanently closed. However, it is open, and it's known as Pat's Foods. Pretty good selection for a quick stop if you're on vacation. The negative reviews mentioned rancid meat..... I can't speak to that. I did however notice some severely iced over chest freezers with some meat that clearly did not freeze. Otherwise, it suited our needs. Decent selection of beer, with a walk-in cooler, and wine/liquor as well.

Absolute pure greed and unethical pricing since Pat's purchased this store, now the only full grocer in town. We aren't talking a few cents more, but upwards of 30-50% higher on most common items. I hope locals support the Dollar stores and begin to buy more of their dry goods through Amazon. Do your homework and support other business.

Typical small town grocery store. Pat's bought out Family Fare. As of today, 8/9/23, all of the signage still says Family Fare. They are a little pricey, but are the only real grocery store in town. Another less expensive option is the dollar store.

I was surprised by this place. I was expecting a small selection that was overpriced. However they had a very good selection of food and produce, all in good condition and prices were reasonable for a tourist town.

Typical grocery store. Not much on sales but it is typical of a tourist town. Good place to get cheaper food in case you do not want to go to a restaurant

We needed to run into a grocery store while vacationing. This place met the bill. It is confusing that it says Family Fare on the outside. No issues. Not really any place around to get your groceries.

It's a grocery store. It's in the U.P. so prices are going to be higher. But they have what you want.

It's a grocery store, and the price of food has gone through the roof everywhere, so the prices sucked just like family fares did, just like Walmart prices do now! if you compare $ for $ everything, everywhere is more expensive, so say what you will, but they have groceries for sale. 😀

The 6 self checkout registers are a nice addition....but they hardly ever have anything on sale....unlike the Family Fare it was before.

Pat's burger meat slimy & smelly, discolored inner bulk permeanted even the thin top layer (of good looking red) unusable. Will not rebuy- gave multiple chances.

For it being the ONLY grocery store in this town the prices are ridiculously high.

Clean and organized grocery store. Cashier was pleasant and did a great job packing groceries the proper way.

Fairly poor selection and some difficult to stomach prices. I guess that's what happens when you're the only option for miles around.
