We where on a road trip, and they had the Take 5, when it wasn't in a dairy queen in the southern part of the state. Makes me giggle everytime I think about it.Very nice place otherwise, if you turn around from the counter there's the lake and its gorgeous.

Everyone had the same idea! Lol. Patiently waiting for our turn. So worth the wait! I had a blizzard: New York Cheese with Strawberry in the center. Yum! Also had a Raspberry with brownie chunks in our group.

Best Dairy Queen. Friendly young staff quick service even with big crowds and they do it without a cash register. All orders marked on a note pad and math done in their heads no calculator. Hard to find young people that can do that. Stop ever time I pass through Munising

This place is always hoppin. They don't serve the full menu like a Grill & Chill; just hotdogs and ice cream. The servers are nice and very fast. Even if there is a long line, it moves quick.

Pretty busy every evening we drove by while in town, and the one time we stopped for some Blizzards. Guess it's tricky being one of the only places in town open after 8pm, and a well-known place, at that. Kudos to the kids working here, they did a great job.

Get done at 8:30 pm and *always* make it to DQ by 8:50pm and the workers are there, but the closed sign is in the window. If you close at 8:45pm, it would be nice if you change your sign to "Closed at 8:45 pm." Went to the store, again, and now have enough ice cream for a week, again. Will try next week, one more time.

That place you always are drawn to visit when you're in Munising in the summer. Sometimes the line is long, but the staff are friendly. Also, there is normally good conversation during the wait. One of those relaxing places to visit during summer in the UP

SLOW,SLOW service. Stood in line for 30ish minutes with windows and maybe 10 people in front of us. You could hear the teenagers yelling and messing around between orders.

The customer service by the girl taking our order was horrible. She was short with us and impatient when we were ordering and would act irritated when we asked a question about one of the items, even our kids noticed how rude she was. The ice cream was good though and they enjoyed it.

Dairy Queen treats are great but what really impressed me was that when I told the cashier that my daughter was allergic to nuts she made a new separate batch of chocolate to make sure no nut contamination. We greatly appreciate the thoughtful service.

They're not open year-round (something about winter and ice cream don't mix I guess...), but when they are it's just a regular tiny Dairy Queen. They have hot dogs and stuff if you're not interested in the ice cream or slushes. Not sure why you'd want a real meal here though! Don't expect a nice indoor seating area, I think there's a picnic table outside if you need it.

I can eat just about anything. I took one bite of a Berger and nowthing was run, but the bun. My girlfriend had the same issue. The fries were so dry and we had stomach issue for a couple days after. Didn’t finish the food, threw it in the compost. All it was good for.

I could have done with a bit more of the toppings on the banana split. Chili Cheese Dog was exactly what I was after. Old walk-up design with a sort of confusing line/waiting system.

They are just a little bit slow, but the girls are all very friendly! They tally up your total and give change without a calculator or computer, which may not be impressive to most, but I am terrible at counting back money so I'm impressed!

Great ice cream they just have great ice cream here but not really worth the wait, it takes a really long time to finally get to order and then I have to wait alot longer to get the food so that gets rid of a star for me but I still really like it here.

Love this little seasonal DQ. A fun place to go and have a cool treat. The staff is young but are well trained and do a great job of taking care of customers.
