The location was awesome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel didn't have an elevator. If you have a lot luggage or issues with mobility. I would request the first floor. Front desk person was dry and not very personable. The bar was cute and bartender was awesome.The breakfast was ok. Pretty basic.

I did like this hotel for a few reasons. The service was really great, super friendly people! The little gift shop in the lobby is so cute! And mostly a little cheaper than the little shops down town. They have a bar on site which I thought was cool, even if I don't drink. The pool was nice, however, the hot tub was not open when I was there. It did look like a nice hot tub being put in tho.Another thing I liked for the convenience was that there's a dollar general across the street. Parking was really close and that was nice too.Nearby activities: Pictured rocks is there of course, which I did go see and would do it again it's worth it! But also they have many waterfalls you can drive around and see up there!

If I am ever in the Munising area again, I would 100% stay at this hotel again. One of the nicest facilities that I stayed in in the upper peninsula and not much more expensive than any other hotel in the area. Breakfast was better than any of the others and they had a amazing coffee bar available 24/7. My only disappointment was that the hot tub was closed at the time that I stayed here could’ve really used it from all the hiking we did at the pictured rocks.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel... there was always coffee and tea in the lobby, big plus! The people at the front desk were very polite, helpful with information about the area, attractions and restaurants...room was spacious and beds were comfortable for our taste...pool was a good temperature, but don't count on a jacuzzi, it's out of order...breakfast was just your typical fast buffet with processed and packaged food, good to get a great start on your site seeing...this hotel would have been ALOT better if it was clean...my God, get someone to go in and clean at least once a month...I couldn't even see out of my window in the room because it was covered in grime that looks like it's been building up for years...the pool area, same thing...the windows are FILTHY and so is the pool ladder, I almost didn't even want to get in but I had a long day and I needed to relax, we only went in on the first day... same with the windows in the buffet area...give it a good scrub and it will be a 5 for us...

Very nice and clean. While not new, it is very well kept and the nicest place we stayed at on this 7 day Lake Superior Circle Tour. Breakfast of sausage, self made waffles and pretend eggs fills the void, we will choose to stay there again.

The 2 things I can complain about 1) was that the hallway smelt like black mold due to the swimming pool being connected to the inside and I'm guessing kids have been running inside and treading water all through the carpeted hallway.2) the aircon in our room. Husband turned it on we had a shower when we came out the room smelt super musty dusty... So had to turn off the air con and just left the window open to let cool air in.Other than those two small things the place was gr8 staff was amazing they did have a letter in our room saying they were understaffed. The bed was comfy! Shower was hot and everything was clean!

Great experience! The staff was really knowledgeable and Zane in particular was fantastic! He was super helpful, very friendly, really funny and an all around great guy. It was really clean and great location for all the local beauty. Didn't have to travel far to enjoy all the sites. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone headed up this way in the future.

I’m here right now as a guest with my children I definitely like it better than when we stayed at kalahari desk people are super friendly so far it’s been super quiet here as well ! They have blow pops for the kids at the front desk , a pool you can enjoy , and a cute gift shop ! Seems very family friendly I’m not from the area and was hoping this would be a safe hotel . So far so good

It was my husband's and I wedding anniversary. His phone was dead and had arrived before I since I had to work that day. Upon driving 3 hours to get there the staff refused to get my husband or call his room for him to come down and get me. I spent the night in my car outside while temputers were 17 degrees. No, one apologized nor tried to help. Worst wedding anniversary EVER!!!!! Him getting himself in trouble before I got there has nothing to do with our anniversary and how I had to sleep outside. Shame on you !!!!!

We had a very good experience in this hotel. The staff are top notch. They went above and beyond their call of duty to make us comfortable.Rooms are nice and large. There is a refrigerator and microwave. Clean rooms as well.There is nice a nice lobby space where you can sit comfortably, take calls or even chat as a group. You get 24x7 coffee in the lobby.There is an on-site pub which is open till 11p. The bar tender is awesome. The price is very reasonable.They serve a decent continental breakfast (which includes eggs and sausages).This is comparable, may be, even better than the big names like Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn express. I’ll surely choose this place when I visit Munising area next time.

Had a beautiful stay, room was great. Had a starter problem and the custodian from the hotel was very helpful.Nearby activities: You are minutes from the Soo locks. Got my car towed in 15minutes and got the starter replaced by Complete auto repair same day. No delay in our trip.

The rooms are small but were clean when we arrived. It was cheaper staying here than on Lake Superior but still an easy drive to sites we visited. There is no elevator, which the website stresses, so they have obviously had complaints about that. The breakfast room is way too small and the selections are only carbohydrates. The first day we were out hiking and the maid still had not cleaned our room by 4:00. We asked her to come back in a couple minutes. She brought the manager who gave us a hard time saying she had to leave and we would not get cleaned unless we left immediately! She had 8 hours! The hotel is definitely outdated and only had double beds but we knew that going in. The pool was clean and the hot tub was small but nice after hiking

The place is small but comfortable. Staying a few nights was nice but the beds that are meant for 2 are quite small. It doesn’t help much when the breakfast isn’t that good either. To take a positive out of this, the pool was well treated and at a good temperature and the rooms were clean and tidy!

Love! Love! Love! I found this by accident. I needed to pull over and take a break and when I seen this wonderful place I went in to check it out. The pool and hot tub were the best I've ever been in for a middle class room rate. After staying, I had the whole afternoon to shop in Marquette before we had to head home. Wonderful night and day. The beds were wonderful. Everything is A++

Pool was the best part. Clean room. We browsed for hours trying to find a good place to stay on our trip. Glad we found this one. Pub would’ve been a great plus if we didn’t have our child with us. Breakfast coupons for breakfast in a bag was strange but good for kids. Great merch in the store. Fairly priced rooms.

We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, safe, good location, and friendly customer service. Another pro for me was good water pressure. We had the breakfast bags a few days and appreciated it. Also microwave and fridge in room to hold your own things. Across from a dollar general if you forget or need anything. Would stay again if in the area.

Clean room, friendly staffing, breakfast tickets for free breakfast. Our bathroom had a heated lamp which was a plus for getting out into the cool room. Comfortable bed, easy key in access to side door and to hotel rooms. Has a decent sized pool and a toasty hot tub! Close to things in town, located right across from a dollar general and mini golf course!!
