Great campground. Staff is friendly. Pool is always clean. Nice bathroom/shower house. Sites are decent size. River on the edge of the campground to play around in. Mini golf is always a favorite when camping at Mecosta Pines.

We have camped here for 7 years and the priority for the safety of the children is phenomenal. Recent bad reviews about registering vehicles (no car tags) and adhering to the 5 mph speed limit seems odd to me if you are concerned for your family's safety. We love that they make sure that all vehicles entering are registered and have a car tag. It makes our stay feel more secure.

Campsite ended up flooding and they refused to allow us to rent a cabin for one night. Even though we had paid to camp for 4 nights.So we had to relocate to hotel 20 miles away. This caused us to run an hour late getting everything packed up and leaving the next day. After informing management and was told not to worry, the guy came screaming at my wife and called the police, which did nothing, because we literally had the car packed up by the time they arrived.Things should have been handled differently instead of just approaching my family with such a horrible attitude. Definitely would not suggest this campsite to anyone…

We camped here for the first time last summer for about 2 weeks. We loved it so much we became seasonals this year. It is quiet, safe, clean and has a huge sparkling pool that we love. There is access to the river as well which is a bonus. The bathrooms are immaculate and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They truly want you to have the best experience possible. They really work hard to keep the campground clean, maintained and in tip top shape. They are seen out and about all day interacting with everyone. My kids love the playground, gaga ball and mini golf. Everyone is friendly and will smile and say hello to you. This place is top notch!

I used to love this campground until the new owners. Yes, they've made some great changes. However, they recently discriminated against some close friends of mine that had been seasonal campers there for several years and even helped the camp ground out. They kick them out due to him having PTSD from serving his country. As a veteran myself, I cannot support such a place who kicked out two of the nicest people who would do anything for you! Never again will I camp there!

Cute camp store, activities for the kids and kids at heartSafety: Very diligent about checking who is coming i to the park and made safety a priority.Noteworthy details: Entertainment, activities, Amish Baker Sale, themed weekend, huge park. Well run campground, the owner (Debbie) is very professional, works hard to employ only really good helpers to take care of the grounds. Everything is very clean, no poison ivy, weeds where there shouldn't be.The laundry room is also spotlessly clean, and back-to-back with the shower area is right and pool pavilion. The pool is very clean, the pool deck has lovely chairs and loungers and tables.There is a lovely playground, and a lovely mini-golf area, which kids love to use. That too is kept clean every morning by the groundsmen who blows any tree debris off.There are two or three new charming cabins near the tent site area. Those are also very nice, with a full size bed and two bunks, a fridge, and a small table.Due to their well, the water has a slight smell, and the water leaves brownish/orange marks along shower walls and buildings. That isn't something they can control though.

Had to switch sites once we arrived but they did accommodate for our large rig!Staff friendly, site is great(now) many things to do on campground. Beautiful pool and clean showers and rest roomWill certainly return ( if we can get same or simular spot for.our rig!)

Awesome campground. Family friendly, large enough to keep the kids busy, but small enough to allow you to monitor your kids at the same time. Swimming pool was exceptionally clean and heated. Camp store was clean, reasonable priced, and stay was very friendly. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

My family has been camping there for the last 6 years. Since the new owners have taken over, we will not be back. She is not nice person at all. Always running around on her golf cart telling you you are driving over the 5 mile speed limited even if you are following another golf cart. If you are sitting around the camp fire talking and laughing after 10pm you will get a visit from her. The best part is being hunt down after you check in to make sure you have your parking pass in your window. That place has become a joke.Safety: fine

Our first stay at this park went great. It's a smaller campground than we normally stay at but still was large on amenities. The bathrooms were clean. The pool area was very well taken care of. The grass was cut. The whole campground was very well taken care of. The owners are personable and you feel part of a family upon checking in. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Great campground! Been camping here since 2011. It's my favorite get away place. Family friendly and quite. During the summer month weekends there are activities for all age levels. Clean and comfortable shower/bathhouse and a nice large pool with plenty of chairs and even shades spots. Always tell friends/co-workers about this campground whenever they talk about camping.

This was our second time camping here with family and it was fantastic. The campsites are a great size, big. There is a pool that's quite nice. One of my favorite parts is how it is right by the river. This is great for tubing since there is a bridge about a mile away where you can just leave a car. Overall, a great experience.

It was a nice, clean campground with level campsites. We enjoyed the free Putt-Putt and the beautiful walk down near the river. We only stayed one night so we didn't get to go swimming in the big pool. It would be a great place to bring kids.

Wow! My family and I had been to several campgrounds. First time we stayed here we felt like family! We are seasonal campers for the first time, and what a time we have had! Great events planned, new heated pool, emaculant showers, clean grounds, very kid friendly, great river frontage, clean sites....the list goes on! Rick and Debbie run a tight ship around here, and it shows! Pride in ownership!!! Stay here, you will LOVE it!

This is our second year at Mecosta Pines Campground and we love it and so do our children and grandchildren. It is a very well run campground with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. The grounds and facilities are kept very clean. It is truly a family fun place. All summer long fun things Are planned for the whole family to participate in if you choose to. The best place we have ever went camping.

We have been camping at MeCosta Pines for six years now and we absolutely LOVE this place. They have very clean facilities with a large pool and many lounge chairs, a river for tubing or crayfish hunting. Large lots plus they always have activities for the kids to do. The owners are truly amazing an always make us feel so welcomed when we pull in, just like family. We will be back for many years to come!!

A true family friendly campground. My family and I are really looking forward to our next stay. I can't express how nice it was when quite time hit it was quite. Having a 18 month old baby able to sleep through the night without interruptions or people being loud was awesome. My 7 year old had so much fun there playing mini golf, swimming, basketball, running around in the river, and playing in the arcade while it rained. In his words "IT ROCKS THERE". Having a well maintained and clean playground was a added bonus for the baby to have some fun. In all 5 stars isn't enough to rate the experience that my family had there.

Amazing campground!!! Rick and Debbie are wonderful owners. There's a HUGE new heated pool, super clean showers and restrooms, and it sits on the beautiful Little Muskegon River. We have 4 children and it's a VERY kid friendly place. Our entire family loves camping there!

Our Campground of choice. We enjoy the rustic, river's edge tent sites along the Little Muskegon, and over the last four seasons Mecosta Pines has become our summer happy-place. Year after year, we bring a new set of friends, swim in the pool, burn firewood, and relax. The facilities are clean and maintained, kids are safe, adults have fun, and we have always had enough space to feel like our camping experience is as important as our neighbors. Great experience, great place.

This weekend was our first time at Mecosta Pines...We had a great time despite the constant rain.My toddler had a ball in the mud puddles and the pool.The facilities are clean and the grounds are well kept.Debbie was professional and courteous upon our arrival.We will definitely come back here.
