Loved location and resort. Cabins were clean and updated. Beds are old but we slept ok. People were friendly, stocked with firewood and charcoal.We will definitely visit again.

We decided to book our vacation in one of thier cabins this year instead of jumping around. Amazing!!! It was a beautiful site to see when you wake up. Breathtaking. Showerhouse on the grounds that you can use as well as the bathroom in your cabin. With 6 adults that came in handy for sure. They supplied everything you really need except your clothes and food. We had a fire every evening and they restocked our wood supply every day. Trash bags, zip lock, tin foil, grill, dishes, fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker and coffee, microwave, picnic table and a bench and much much more. We couldn't believe how much they supplied. We didn't have to pack hf of what we did had we known how much they supply. We will be coming back for sure. They have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cabins plus sites for camping with water and electric hookups and this fall they're doing septic hookups. Can't beat it. Plus it's right on Brevort Lake.

Fantastic place to camp. Amazingly friendly staff and owners. Beautiful and spotlessly clean. The only downside is no septic hook up for campers, but not a big deal with clean bathroom and shower facility.

We had a wonderful experience we had cabin 1 very clean only thing to say it's a small cabin with no living area, however we totally made it work. Again very clean! Linens including towels and dish and hand soap. Fridge was clean and we had a grill just needed to get charcoal and lighter fluid. The beach did have goose poop , however I have stayed at many places with this , geese are hard to deter from a place on the water. Staff was very friendly! I am looking forward to staying there next year!

Black Point Resort is a beautiful stay. We stayed in a cabin facing the lake and it was very clean and had many amenities that made out stay comfortable and easy. The view of the lake was priceless. 20 mins from the boat to Mackinac island. Can’t wait to return.

An adorable cabin in the woods that has everything you need for an amazing weekend getaway. It also has luxuries like a soap dispenser and motion sense paper towel machine. The hot water is amazing, the only thing is that it comes on a little fast sometimes and then turns cold before gradually getting hot again. However, I would definitely recommend!!Has a space heater, comfy bed and blankets, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, refrigerator/freezer and stove/oven.

We stayed in Cabin #6 for a week in July 2020. We were excited and were looking forward to it but ended up being disappointed. The cabin was not very clean. Upon arrival, there were dead bugs all over, (in windows, on curtains, caught in webs up in the corners), and the floor was dirty. Our feet were becoming filthy from just walking on it. It felt like there was quite a build up of grime on it and needed a real good mopping. Two lights were not working and when we asked about it we were told they can't be fixed at this time. I found dog hair in the provided bed linens on the beds, (wondering if they were even washed). The couch was very uncomfortable due to the springs could be felt when sitting on it. The middle bedroom bed would sink down in the center when we would lay in it, therefore my husband and I would end up sinking in center of bed. It is said and shown there is a swimmable beach on site but we could not use it since it was filthy with goose poop every day, as well as the geese hanging around daily. Also, it is said and shown that we could see sunsets. The sunsets could not be viewed from Black Point since they are not even located on the correct side of Brevort Lake to see it. For what we paid for our stay, we feel these issues that we experience should not have happened, and also feel that the description of site is not completely accurate.

$40 for tent camping without electricity. I have camped across North America twice and this place holds the record for most expensive camp site I have ever paid for.I didn't mind paying because I didn't have anywhere else to go and was exhausted from an 8 hour day of travel, but the tent camping area was littered in animal poop. I stepped in so much dog/animal poop in my boots.Bathroom was no the cleanest, but I have seen worse.Also worth mentioning.. the campground was very difficult to get to because one of the main roads is closed and required a 25 minute detour. Unfortunately for me, it was after the sun went down and I had all sorts of animals running out across the road.

My opinion is definitely biased, but Black Point Resort is a fantastic four season experience. Summer camping, fishing all year, snowmobiling, Atv trails minuets away, and a very safe family environment.

it's difficult to find and the GPS will take you to the incorrect area. but the cabins are very nice and the owners friendly and accommodating. very clean bathrooms and kitchens and comfortable beds.

Beautiful lakeside view with short 20 min drive. Owners were very friendly and had electricity water and bathrooms with a shower for 50 a night 10/10 would camp again.
