First time listening to live music and I absolutely loved it! We came on a great night. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Ended up finding a great book among their selection. Really appreciated them having a little something for everyone. Drinks were nice and the staff were friendly as well! I can’t wait to visit again. :)

The best indie bookstore, and then some. You can get a coffee drink, glass of wine, or something to eat while you shop books and other unique items, while also listening to live music that they have nearly every day. They bring in authors, musicians, and events such as trivia nights, making them a spot anyone can hang out at and enjoy. Plan plenty of time to take it all in. I can go there twice in the same week and still find things I missed. Glad we have this one-stop spot for gifts in our community.

This is one of the cutest little bookshop and coffee shops I've ever seen. It has a little bit of everything from delicious surprising food bites to eat, books of all varieties, records, record players, typewriters, cozy little nooks to read and play games, coffee shop, and even a bar and a piano. What a lovely ambiance and experience.

The Book Nook is a great place to grab a book, a coffee and surprisingly a cocktail. They have an amazing Moscow mule that shouldn't be slept on. For such a small space the book selection is great. You can find best sellers but also a curated mix of amazing reads.

What a cool little spot. You can come for coffee, snacks, alcohol, live entertainment, or to read a book next to the fireplace. What more could you need in one spot? The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and with the amount of options all packed into one small location, it feels very cozy and comfortable. If you haven't made it out yet your missing out. Must Stop!

This place is incredible! I walked in the door and was immediately happy that I came. I spent a long time enjoying looking at books, then I got a coffee from their coffee bar. It was a relaxed environment. I didn't feel rushed and really enjoyed the experience there!

Loved the espresso, it's so much better then,chain coffee shop in Whitehall. It's a nice place to relax, read a book,there's live music on certain nights. Good place to go.

Great place l went to grab some breakfast and looked around the store while I was waiting.Had a breakfast bowl with eggs potato spinach sausage was very good.A nice place they do have a patio where you can eat and drink but at the moment your not able to eat inside.Would happily go back really nice place.

Loved this little shop in Montague, MI.Run down the charming street and make sure you save an hour to go in, grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich or pastry, browse the book shop, sit down and enjoy all the above at your leisurely pace.I loved the "banned book" section.Coffee was great and people watching should be on the menu too. Even in the shoulder season you can find groups of locals catching up. If you time it right, you might run into some live music too.

Beautiful place to be during a rainy afternoon.Ended up buying a book just so that I could sit there and read. Would definitely like to come back with a lengthier book to spend a few hours here.

Who doesn't love an independent bookstore? There is nothing like being able to peruse actual dead tree editions of books. You can touch the pages. See the words and covers. Smell the glue and bindings. Even hear the rustle of the pages. You could lick them too to taste them I guess. However for the full sensory experience I'd recommend a coffee or something delicious from their full bar.

This is an interesting bookstore, usually you will find just a cafe in a shop but they have wine and live music too. I wish they had more of a used section but it's mainly new books and gift items. There is a lot of room for seating and they have wifi.

We went during their Bluegrass festival in conjunction with Montague’s Pumpkinfest. It’s a great atmosphere and nice bookstore with a coffeehouse and bar.

This was a delightful stop. The atmosphere is welcome, come in, take a seat while you enjoy time with each other. The service is excellent. Food is well portioned, fresh, hits the spot. I will visit again, to experience an opportunity of the outdoor seating that is dog friendly.

Love the live band. My daughter found a book she wanted and my other kids enjoyed the cinnamon roll muffin, 🥕 cake muffin and cake pops! Not so much the macaroons. But over all great place to enjoy!

Went to a meeting there yesterday. Was thrilled with the quantity of the book selection! There is a great stage for live music and comedy venues. Enjoyed great coffee and a Danish. Other meeting attendees enjoyed a variety of beers and wine. A great space with something for everyone.

Really enjoyed the live acoustic musicians & nice atmosphere. I wouldn't order the Chai, it mostly tasted like cinnamon milk even after requesting an extra shot of chai.

This place has its own community atmosphere of great people, lovely menu, and eclectic whimsy that ties it all together! It has a wonderful selection of literature, but goes further by offering a gathering place or a quiet retreat depending on your need.

I love it here! It's relaxing, a very chill environment, and their food is delicious. I would definitely reccomend to anyone who wants a quick bite to eat or wants somewhere cute and cozy to study or do work. Everyone working there is super kind, and it's just a great place to be productive. 10/10
