This was the first opportunity I've had to visit this place. I don't own a farm or even have a yard/garden to care for. But on Easter Sunday, my thermostat went on the fritz and it was too cold for my comfort in my apartment. I couldn't find a space heater at Meijer or Walmart, where fans have taken their place. Lowe's was closed for the holiday, as was Ace Hardware. But it looked like Tractor Supply might have a space heater. I'm sorry I didn't get names, because the young man at the front counter and the young man he sent to help me at the Customer Service desk were both kind, sympathetic, and very helpful. They knew I didn't want to spend $50+ on an interim fix and they found me a cheap little space heater in the back with hardly any wait time. I certainly will try to make time to shop there again!

My go-to place when it's "chick season." They get in chicks weekly starting in April and have a good variety of healthy chicks, from ducks and Cornish to Bantams with a four-chick minimum. Staff are friendly and super-helpful and were patient while my mom and I made our selections from the straight run, mixed bantams. They also have very reasonable prices on chicken feed and supplies.

Monroe staff was very knowledgeable and they helped us pick out some baby chicks and get everything we needed. They slso gave us information on how to care for them to get us started.

In 2022 this store is having some problems maintaining consistent inventory of essential staple items for your animals: If you feed your hens 16% layer pellets and they have it in stock, buy twice what you need, because the next two times you go there they will be out of stock. Same with some pet foods like 44lb. bags of multi-cat food or any other particular product you buy for your livestock.Meanwhile the store aisles are completely clogged with pallets and stacks of other ancillary merchandise so getting a cart loaded with 50# feed bags from the back of the store to checkout is a challenge. All aisles are only wide enough for one cart to pass, so you'll have to jockey around other shoppers. Staff are helpful, but mostly young and inexperienced, so not always able to answer questions about products. Store is also frequently understaffed so you may need to be patient, wait in line for assistance. Prices: *comparable* to similar stores but not aggressively priced. Local feed/grain may be cheaper on some products if less convenient.

Horrible customer service. I rented a tank of argon which had a bad valve. When trying to exchange the tank the manager informed me I would have to purchase it again. I will not be getting any products from tractor supply. Family farm and home has better customer service.

My mother got flat tire pulled in 2 cool young men came out of the store went above beyond to help my mother change the tire for her. They didn't have to do that at all Definitely good people fs there!

Not good overall customer service. Waited for help at customer service (and asked for assistance twice for at least 20 minutes) never received it. However the staff had time to have MINUTES long personal conversations with friends in the store after knowing they had people waiting for help. I normally have patience but I think 20 minutes and unprofessionalism go beyond me. Had I not drove 30 minutes for something that was placed on hold for me the previous night from another store I definitely would have left. Definitely don't recommend

Great store with great prices. I bought my Carhartt winter jacket here and saved a ton over buying the exact same jacket at Cabela's in Dundee. They also have great deals on clothing and other useful items that I need around my house and in my garage. The sales staff are always friendly, and very knowledgeable about most of the products that they sell. They really go above and beyond in the customer service area. I love coming here

Female customer here! Adam (the manager at the Monroe, MI location) went above and beyond for my daughter and I today! I bought a utility trailer and he gave me great recommendations and product suggestions. He was also helpful without being overbearing or doing any "mansplaining" lol. Our whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely go back.

Normally I would give this Tractor Supply a 5 star because they are great and helpful. The 2 gentlemen how helped were great. However as I approached the check out I was 3rd in line. I hear the cashier explain to the 1st customer he needed to go to the service desk. He wasn't happy but he went. The next customer is being waited on and then there is a woman pushing past me yelling at the cashier " Stop sending our customers to the service desk when we sent them to you". She pushed past the man in front of me still yelling at the cashier that all she had to do was give him a brochure with a phone number in it. This woman was not wearing anything denoting she was an employee. I told her that it was unacceptable for her to talk to an employee like that, especially in front of customers. The proper thing to do was for her to walk the customer up to the front to get the brochure. I have never seen this woman before and I hope I never do again. She does not belong in that job.

I usually have really great experiences here. We love that they have dog toys to withstand our dogs and we get their food from there. We used the curbside pickup service today and when I called to let them know I ordered yesterday and they said I could pick it up today, I was cut off and asked for my name with a huff. I told her my name and the car I was in and she said "K be out in a second." And hung up. She seemed very irritated and was extremely rude when asking these questions. I believe the employee's name was Amelia.

The store gets 5 stars, however the staff gets 1 star. (Several of the staff are GREAT workers.) ...Not being sexist but the best workers there are the guys. Several of the females there who are in charge, need to learn the boundaries of their job description, and to do their job without arguing with a customer. If you have life issues, leave that crap at home!

Went back for some items and got exactly what I needed. It was in a box and with assistance of a staff member getting it for me, now I can spray for ticks etc.My previous trip to the store, they were very busy and I couldn't find a sales person

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. Employees service is definitely not on their priority list. I can see why all their employees are going to family farm. I will be following them. The employees attitudes towards helping people is the direct result of the leadership in this store. Hope the can figure it out soon......

We went to buy food for the dogs and cats. They didn't have on the shelf one variety we were looking for. A sales associate gladly went and looked and brought the food out for us. We also took our 5 month old puppy in with us, her first visit. The same sales associate brought her out a puppy treat along with a patand smile to make this a good experience for her

Been going here for our supplies for 20+ years now!! The store and restrooms ate always A+ clean and tidy!! The staff is ALWAYS courteous, friendly, helpful beyond measure and very knowledgeable!! If they don't know, they will get someone who does!! If they don't have a product in stock, they will go to their computers and get ordered from another store pronto!! And if you call ahead, they will even hold products for you for 24 hours at the customer service desk!!!!I recommend this TSC to everyone of our clients in 3 counties!!!!We here at Vom Loganberg German Shepherds on Facebook have always had a good, positive relationship with this store!!!

Love our local Tractor Supply Co. We have purchased chickens from this location in the past and we love our flock! We also get feed and animal supplies from here as well. The staff is helpful and our kids always love visiting Tractor Supply with us.
