Stopped by here on a Tuesday morning, just before my flight. Bought several frozen pasties to bring back East with me.After I got back, they defrosted and reheated wonderfully. Will absolutely buy more when I return to the Keweenaw.

I’m going to do 2 reviews because the Jalapeño Pasty deserves 10 stars instead of 5! We have had pasties from the west side of the U P to the east side and all points in between and this particular one was hands down the best we have ever had! My boyfriend is from the area and knows his pasties well and still says this one rocks them all! We stopped twice in one day! Just enough spice but not too spicy!

We ordered green pepper pasties but got jalapeño pasties instead. They were good, but not what I expected or what I ordered. I love the superette store though!

The food here is amazing. It doesn't matter what, its delicious. I will say the breakfast pasty is beyond expectation, though.

Arrived right before closing time and did not get any sense of bothering the staff. Got great home made pasta dishes to reheat in our airbnb. They were delicious!

Cute little grocery store! I heard the pasties were amazing so we spotted. I moved away in 1995. These pasties are good! But their nothing extraordinary. I pretending like Suomi restaurant's pasties better. Very friendly cashier!

Always friendly folks! Very nice selection. A regular stop for me! It's a pleasure to do business at the Superette! Oh and by the way, their pasties are excellent! Be sure to stop there on Tuesday or Friday when they have fresh pasties!

If you want the best Copper Country pasty this is where you find them. A small hometown market in Mohawk MI. and if I do say so myself I'm a pretty good judge of pasties being raised in the Copper Country. These are the BEST store/bakery pasty out there! They also won the local best pasty contest!!

Best pasty in the UP, hands down. When it comes to pasties, the crust is the most important part and the Mohawk Superette has the perfect crust. Don't forget the Heinz ketchup which is sold at the counter next to the pasties in case you're on the go. Be aware that pasties are only sold fresh on Tuesdays and Sundays but if you're lucky, you might find a couple in the freezer.Another great choice in case you show up on the wrong day and can't get a pasty is the footlong deli sub. Loaded with meat and cheese, add whatever toppings you like. You can't go wrong with this one either but they're only available between 10-2. So yummy!Happy to know about this little local gem that is the Superette.

Best value and AMAZING PASTIES! Spent a few days in the UP and was lucky to find this place. Pasties are made fresh in house along with a whole variety of take away food. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in Mohawk for a week. I visited the Superette a few times to pick up things we had forgotten. What a surprise to find delicious stuffed cabbage, prime rib sandwiches and breakfast bagel sandwiches in the cooler. Delicious!

We were told by someone in Calumet this was the best place for pasties. They were correct. My personal previous high mark was Dobber's in Iron Mountain. Now it's these.
