The pros and cons I will share with my experience going there for 15 years. I own a vacation home 10 miles away and they have a lot of good products which is great. But the negatives are, very expensive and worst part of all...every time I go in the store or a family member goes there they look at you as if you're a thief, yes.. thief and also they follow you like you're a thief. All my employees, I never treat or make them feel that way. Lots of times I will go out of my way to go to a different store, that way I don't have to experience that.

The women that work there are wonderful!! Very nice and accommodating. They knew where every product was located exactly. What aisle, shelf, vicinity! And knew everything about the products. Made keys for us, mixed paint. They were great !!

Great staff and great selection. They have an excellent outdoor sports selection that includes ammo and hunting specific gear. Their prices are incredibly high on many things from home improvement items and ammo as well.

I called and was placed on hold. I called because it's a 20 minute drive and I wanted to see if you had the valve that I needed. After 10 minutes on hold I tried to call you 20 times only to get busy signal then a message saying we're not taking calls at this moment. So I drove 20 minutes up there to find that you didn't have what I needed. Thanks a lot for wasting my time again.

We own a cabin on the river in the area and have had several occasions where we arrived and had a major issue to solve ranging from the power pole ripped off the house to a plumbing disaster. I have been able to walk into the Mio Ace with parts in hand and they have been able to share their expertise with me in order for me to walk out with EVERYTHING I need in a subject I previously knew nothing about. Their customer service is by far the best I have seen in years. This small town hardware really understands their community and carries the products their community needs. I am a lifetime customer!!

A friend purchased a gift certificate for $100 from them for me and they refused to honor it. I had lost it for a while but there was no expiration date. When I showed it to them they said it was not signed by the person who sold it so it was no good. Whether it was on purpose or a mistake that it was not signed my friend spent $100 for nothing. I would give them zero stars if I could and they will never make another dime from me.

Not bad unless you have to deal with the owner who is extremely rude. If you walk in, you just might be subject to being stared down by this man. It happened to me several times and I finally drew the line at hearing him verbally abuse his wife, who also works there, in the most vicious manner. I'm not spending my money here ever again.

Charged me $41 to refill a 40# propane cylinder. Been filling down the road all hunting season for $18 and the most I spent was at TSC Ortonville... $25. Went back in to confirm the price was correct, he said it was. This price is insane, will never shop there for anything.

Never buy much there unless I'm forced to. Don't usually want to remortgage my house to afford anything at the establishment. Very very high prices. Better off going down the road to the pioneer store.

The only place I get my paint from, I love bright colors and Lois and Lisa are very helpful on getting the exact color I want. And very helpful with sny of my DIY projects, including staining projects. Randy has also been very helpfu in answering my questions with plumbing!
