Dakota, the Pharmacist is a treasure to our community. He has helped problem solve the on-going insurance issues my family has had since June of 2022. The stress he has reduced cannot be ignored.His knowledge is unbeatable and boy do we have complex cases. The team in the pharmacy is polite, on the spot, and works hard. They really are a credit and we are lucky to have them and all the store employees in our community.

The pharmacy is a joke. Rude, unprepared, no situational care whatsoever. It took me going there 3 separate times in person for them to actually fill my prescription, and the third, I had to wait in store for 35 minutes before they got it put together. The pharmacist was disrespectful to no end. The rest of the staff was polite and helpful. The store was clean, but I'll never get any medication through them again

The Pharmacist Dakota is an ABSOLUTE GOD SEND and is really the reason why I come here and prefer Rite Aid!!! I have had so many problems with my insurances over the past couple years and Dakota is truly the ONLY Pharmacist I trust. He has incredible communication skills and always takes the time to make sure I get what I need as a Type 1 Diabetic!RITE AID NEEDS TO GIVE DAKOTA A RAISE. SERIOUSLY. If he were to ever get poached to a different pharmacy, I am going with him no matter how long the drive is.... his professionalism is greater than I have ever recieved from pharmacies and working with him is worth it everytime.I highly suggest you seek Dakota for all of your pharmaceutical needs (he helps you to the fullest in the best ways possible working with you and your insurance)RITE AID!!! GIVE MY HERO DAKOTA A RAISE AND AN OFFICIAL CAPE BECAUSE HE SAVES THE DAY EVERYTIME!🙌🏼

Would not answer the phone for 4 hours of trying. Finally did and I was on hold for 30 minutes. Ended up hanging up and I went to the pharmacy to see if my script was there since I never got the auto renewal text. I called my doctor before I went and they let me know they got notified it was accepted by the pharmacy. Pharmacist said they didn’t have it and asked the person behind me what they could help them with. No help at all. Now I have to go an entire weekend without my prescription. This place is the worst. I’ve never had this issue before at CVS or any other pharmacy.

Worst Pharmacy in the entire County!!! I hope you're not dying or in a rush because you'll be waiting HOURS! I have pulled myself and the 4 others who used this pharmacy and gone to another store all together..They are Rude, hectic, scattered, unapologetic unorganized and flat out ridiculous. Oh and don't bother transferring to the other rite aid in Lapeer they are equally a negative 5 stars and dont even bother to pick up the phone. Best advice ?Avoid ALL Rite Aids in Lapeer County, there are plenty of other choices.

I've been going to Rite Aid since they were across the street on the otherside of Greg's. I have picked up rx from there several times and never had a necessarily "rude" experience. The 1 pharmacist, the gentleman, isn't alway super friendly, but he's not rude either. The other cashier's and other's who work in the pharmacy have almost always been quite pleasant and the store always seem to be clean. Idk how the rx procedures actually work, how not having the rx needed or special orders or back up orders is actually their fault or if it's corporate policies to order a certain amount, or if they have control over the pricing or if that is done on the corporate level. Idk. But i do that it's lacking at most places right now. Lacking staff bc everyone is on unemployment, lacking stock bc of traveling restrictions, or this, or that, it'sbeen a crazy past few years. I'm thankful i have somewhere to go locally. Im happy they have employees to fill my rx or cash me out for the other things i need and didn't have to to go to Lapeer or Oxford for. Thank you to the employees that DO try every shift in the face of adversity, who get yelled for things that are out your control, even when its overwhelming and you didn'twant to come back the next day, but did. Thank you for smiling and telling to have a good day/night. Keep up the good work! 👍 💛👌

Just moved to the area and this pharmacy is the worst I’ve ever experienced!!!! My doctor Increased the dose of my medication and sent a new script to them. The pharmacy would not fill it because I had just gotten that medication filled and it wasn’t time for me to get it filled again. I explained to them that it was an increase in dose and I needed the medication. They asked what was I going to do with my other pills that I haven’t used yet?? THAT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!!! The fact is that the doctor called in a new dose and I needed to start taking the new dose and they still (after 3 weeks) will not fill it. My old pharmacy and my insurance never ever had a problem when my doses got changed around. My doctor suggests that I find a different pharmacy.

I would not recommend this pharmacy. If you call to check on a prescription, it’s either filled after you check on the status or addressed within the next day instead of when they actually receive the script from your doctor. They have messed up the dosages on more than one occasion, leave you on hold for more than 10 minutes because they are not sufficiently staffed, or just hang up altogether. I actually called Rite Aid’s customer service line to inform them of the extremely poor service from this location for the last year... and that rep hung up after placing me on hold (right after answering) as well. Take your business elsewhere!

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. The prescriptions are always out of stock, or have to be "special ordered" (and sometimes not ordered at all) The wait times are extremely long and the staff has lost a prescription for one of my children before. I wish there was another pharmacy to use in Metamora because it is truly a daunting task getting any prescription from there.

Ive been visiting this Pharmacy for a few years. They have some very helpful staff that have been there for a long time. Its good to be familiar with the same pharmacist. And it'll beat the wait times hands down at any lapeer pharmacy since they seem to always be much busier.

These idiots in the pharmacy I have no idea how these 2 woman even have jobs. I have been comming here for years and they no longer have my information on file? They put my script under a different name my name is JANE SMITH how do you get my name wrong? The lady in the drive up threw my license so I had to run after it in the parking lot I have never had this kind of service in my whole life like how do these people wipe their ass by them selves? Never returning!

Twice have messed up my scripts. Avoid, Avoid rite aide! Heads at top of company should be fired for incompetence! Because they don't fix the problems through out the company. The language in the USA is English. Not sure what they speak in Metamora rite aide?

Made a vacine appointment and waited way long and finally left. These Jokers are no good. Total waste of time. If you can't make appointments and keep a closer time frame then maybe you shouldn't be doing this. Thank you for wasting my time and a long line of other folks

I had passport photos taken here a couple of weeks ago. I paid a significant amount to a courier service to expedite it for me. Then, I found out the state Department rejected my application because the photos were not compliant. Very disappointed.

Literally the worst rite aid I've ever been to. Dropped my daughters prescription off at 10- 11 am, the Indian woman told me it'd be ready within an hour. It's 4: 30 pm now and after a half an hour of telling me they "can't find" her prescription and I must not have dropped it off, they've now told me they found the paper I dropped off this morning, but they never actually prepared the medicine so now she has to wait even longer. Ridiculous.

I go in to this ride aid all the time till the miis and to the only gave me 50 balcony 8-2 of the 60 it was no right and the only give me half MD stop. If it don't get fixed asap or I will never come back in a gin
