Second time I went in there since being under new ownership, that I had an item ring up wrong. Today the item didn't scan so I went and checked the price, told the cashier and she went back to check herself. She brought out the same item but different brand and scanned it through at a $1 higher. It was then explained to me that there were still a lot old prices listed on the shelves. Don't have an issue with a price increase, but do have an issue with with prices not being updated and having to pay for a brand I didn't buy just so something would ring up on the register.

Just experienced the MEANEST store worker (man). We come through and spend a couple hundred dollars here every time we come up to our cottage. We want to support local. This makes us second guess our decision. I must say it was my step mom that experienced it but she was shaking when she got into the car.... shouldn’t be like that especially because we are all in stressful times and it doesn’t help.

Typical small town market with a good selection of essentials. As expected..produce selection is basic and not very fresh. The meat selection n is good for and small town place and it has your typical groceries. They do make some good donuts.

Mostly a wonderful store! The employees are all amazing people! Need to work on checking dates and keeping meat and produce fresh. At the prices asked, these things should be immaculate and they just... aren't.

It's a typical small town grocery store. They do have most of your basic needs.. In our experience not really friendly. The person on the register was the only one friendly I think he was the owner or manager.. It's easy to find and easy to get in and out.

I used to frequent this store, it was convenient and the staff pleasant. The prices are high, but that was ok because the service made up for it..I can not say that anymore. The last time I came I to the store the 2 clerks were unnecessarily rude. I would rate higher if they were not employees there. I can say a mother and son work here and they treat customers very well. But, unfortunately I will now avoid this place d/t the other employees.

Small Hometown grocery store,they do have a decent selection, cuts of meat are not the best unless you spend the money for a porterhouse T-Bone or ribeye as far as Beef goes, there pork selection is pretty good and it is fairly priced as far as other items whether they be grocery or dry goods can be a bit pricey... many things can be purchased cheaper at the Dollar General or Family Dollar in town

Middle-aged worker there doesn’t know how to do her job throwing items everywhere and slamming down drinks on the conveyor belt. Made me so mad I wanted to throw that drink at her.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!!! They have everything u could possibly need on your grocery list!! They have new sale items every week and incredible prices!!! All my friends and family come to the mesick market cause they save so much money!! If you are in the area you should definitely come check the Mesick Market out!!!! Oh!! And the staff, they are all so amazingly nice and friendly and can help you with anything you need!!!

Extremely friendly service. Food is great quality. The meat is amazing. Definitely one of the best little hometown markets ive been to. Close to Seaton Creek campground.

For a small store they sure carry a lot. We like the deli and store-made snack trays. You can even buy some fresh flowers.

Always a friendly place to shop, never have trouble finding the things i need and are decently priced for being almost the only place in mesick to shop. Closer and more convenient then having to travel to Cadillac or traverse City to go to the store.

Very nice place, small compared to the huge grocery stores but still can find everything you need, the employees are fantastic too

This place sucks! I have seen out dated stuff on the shelves and the prices are CRAZY high for a small town like Mesick, talk about taking advantage of the people that live here...I would drive the 20 miles to Cadillac BEFORE I ever gave these ppl my business!

Nice small town market. Had nice meat and cheese counter. Just what we were looking for without having to travel a long way to a larger store.

They have these awesome tasting Dot's pretzels! I've not found anywhere else!! They also have black bean Tostitos!

I am disabled and all I have to do is call into the store and a worker named Michale brings my groceries out to me no questions asked! ☺️
