one of the last good dollar stores still around. i used to go there a lot as it is close to my work. store has variety of good stuff with decent pricing for the size of that small store it has a lot to offer. not like Dollar General or Dollar Tree ( their own line up products) this store has different products. very good stuff. I recommend to visit this store. One drawback the pricing have changed over the years even though it's a dollar store most of the stuff are not a dollar. also be careful some stuff are cheaper in a regular store., that is my true experience.Staff are very nice and friendly. helpful when you need them overall it is very good neighborhood store that I wish they stay in business for years to come.

I went into this store today. I had several items, including a screwdriver with six bits. Sign directly read screwdriver with 6 bits $2. When I got to the register and she didn't know the price. We went back. I read the sign and read it out loud. She took the tag right off the shelf in front of me and ripped it up and said that wasn't the price, it $5.99. I said the sign was there that she should honor it this time. It's a mistake and flat out told me NO. Left the store leaving. along all my items. I will never go back. Watch your pricing.

This place has always been the best dollar store. I'm 31yrs old I grew up in Melvindale and it's still open in business. That tells you something right there. Overall good dollar store

This place has been a favorite of mine since my daughter ran across it some 5+ years ago. Holy snap i have gotten some amazing deals here over the years. I often check here first for household items, tools or crafts. And great hand fans. Closeouts heaven! Plus super awesome staff! Don't tell anyone about one of my best kept secrets! Jk I tell everyone about this place.

3 1/2 Stars. Good people and a VERY wide variety of decent products at low prices. I would rate the store higher but the aisles are are a clusterphobic and there are stains peppering the floor. Other than that I recommend going there.

I know it's hard to keep a store organized with as many people that go through those door.. but store could use a overhaul. But if you need something they have it. The employees are awesome!! And it sucks that there are not 2 people per shift...

They are going up on stuff that was not worth the price . Like for dollar store bleach peroxide they went up about 2 dollar's. Also for alcohol way to much money they have been over priceing stuff also sell stale Christmas candy at full price. An cookies that are stale.

Excellent management!!!! Beth is a god send of a blessing ! When you need weird odds and ends from nuts and bolts and hardware and tools to party supply and old rca adapters, if you can't find it no where else you'll probably find it here ! And every things a dollar!!!! Unless it has an orange sticker !!!

Been going here since I was in elementary school! Best dollar store in the area I live in Dearborn and come to Melvindale just for this place! It has a wide variety of items all for very good prices! It's also the best place for posterboards they have them in all colors for the cheapest price you can find!

Wonderful little shoppe in Melvindale with all sorts of nick knacks. Don't let the stores name fool you,not everything is a Dollar, however alot of things are. This store reminds you of the old five and dime stores or General Store.

Have them around and lived in Melvindale for the last 30 years whenever I stop through living in other areas I will always go to Home Depot my favorite. They have almost everything.
