Cinnamon rolls are huge and every part of it was amazing, not just the center! Coffee was from Dark Water and was equally amazing. They complimented each other well. Less than $7 for both! Cash only BUT they take Venmo! They also have an ATM outside.

Definitely its great. Tasty. We tried coffee, donuts and some cookies. But its very expensive. Much costlier than Starbucks. For reference. But worth the price.

Pro: The coffee drinks. My husband got the macchiato and I got a latte. Both very tasty!Con: The Bavarian creme long John. I think it lacked flavor in the filling and the frosting. But, I'm comparing to the best donut shop that's actually in my home town of Findlay OH... Fort Findlay Donut shop.

Your cinnamon rolls are not the same! They use to be big and fluffy and soo good. Now they are flat and burnt!! Disappointed 😞

If you like hard and dry two day old donuts. that taste like they are out of a case of a chain grocery store....... Then this is the place for you! The dark roast coffee had "NO" "NONE" "0" taste or flavor. If you have one person working and a line out the door, do not offer smoothies that take 5 mins to make!!! Just a thought!!! Cash only. On a positive note........ It was open and within walking distance of our hotel!

For the price pizza was average and had very few toppings. We could barely find the ham on our Hawaiian pizza. We needed a quick dinner to take to the beach and had never been here before. It took about 20 min to get the pizza which wasn't bad at all. I was asked if two plates would be enough. There were three of us so I was confused. I asked my child if he would be ok without a plate and he said no so a third was added. We were given the mini pizza in a semi open sleeve to go. Had to ask for napkins because there were none in sight to take. If you need quick food and aren't being picky it serves the purpose. Wouldn't go out of our way to stop there again.

Only place around open at 8 with coffee but the down side is its cash only.....come on its 2021 I understand card machine company's charge a fee but its not good to tell your customers (just bill it in to your price of goods).... then tell them there is an ATM behind you and have them get slammed wit a $3 fee very un cool. But I won't take any stars off for that overall the doughnuts were good and the place was very nice...

We arrived at about 11 AM expecting lots of donuts because it is a bakery for Christ’s sakes!! There was only a few select donuts left with two hours until closing!! So we decided to get a sticky bun which was bland and dry! We also got iced coffees which was the cherry on top of grossness! It was pure powder and milk (doesn’t even taste like coffee). It tasted like a protein shake that was not even blended! Service was okay I guess, woman seemed a bit short with me.

Can't speak to the food.... the loudly voiced claims of election fraud of the upcoming fall 2022 election by the cashier were enough to make me lose my appetite. That and the Trump wine bottle on the counter (of a donut shop!) If you like your donuts with a heavy frosting of conspiracy theories, this is your place!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! I waited over 45 minutes for my sub (which was subway quality) and it was made incorrectly. I didn't have the time or patients to wait another 45 minutes for it to be made again so I asked for my money back. The cashier then throw the money back into my face. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant before. I would recommend going anywhere but here if you are in Mears.

Horrible experience here! Placed order, got all but my son's sub. Watched others get their food who ordered way after us, so I went to counter to ask where the sub was (15 minutes after ordering!). Was told they were finishing it up. Brought it out, 3 minutes later, warm and toasted, but chicken was RAW and still FROZEN! "Mercedes" just never put the order in!!!! Went to counter and told the girl it not only took 15 minutes, but was cold and raw, and "Erica" said to me "Okay, I didn't make the sub so you don't have to get an attitude with me!" WHAT??? WHAT THE ??? Are you KIDDING me? My kid could have bitten right into that and gotten ill!!!! I told "Erica" I'm the customer, and I KNOW it wasn't HER fault but you NEVER say that to a customer! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, and I will TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THAT GOES TO SILVER LAKE TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!!! Just horrid!

Very expensive for the terrible pizza and small (largest) salad they had! The pizza was burnt and tasted like cardboard. The chef salad was loaded with onions and barely any lettuce or other toppings. The tables were all filthy and don't get me started on the bathroom! Wow! Don't go here even if your life depends on it!

My family ate there a couple of times on vacation....in short, the food is excellent, very overpriced and the staff does not know good customer service. The staff is friendly, but it was as if it was everyone's first time working in food service. For example, when my pizza was done, they shouted my name from the middle of the kitchen. That's fine, but wouldn't it make more sense to walk to the edge of the dining area where people are waiting and call their name?Doughnuts - Great! Nothing special, but they are made fresh daily.Fudge - This was also good.Coffee - Never again. My wife paid $5 for keurig/tassimo coffee.Salads - Great! The chef and taco salads were top notch!Taco pizza - Never again. A small taco pizza was listed for $15.50. It's really worth half that. For $15.50 I was expecting it to be piled high with toppings, loaded with cheese and meat. It was not. Don't order this.Cheese pizza - My kids loved it, but it's really hard to screw up cheese pizza so I won't give you credit for that.

The donuts were good but the service and packaging of my donuts was poor. Chocolate stuck on everything, not much left on donuts. That was just from the counter to my car in the parking lot outside the building. Not even sure if there were drinks! No napkins.

Got a little over a dozen doughnuts here. They were good, but staff seemed overwhelmed and a little annoyed that I wanted so much. There was also no bulk pricing, which kind of makes sense for a lake town, but it would be nice to get a little deal on a dozen.

In my experience, the food here is delicious. Probably the best in this little town. Every time I order something it is beyond expectations. This is definitely worth five stats.

The food was "okay," not great, but passable. The service was TERRIBLE. We waited more than forty minutes to be served. Questions about the delay were met with a ho-hum, flippant attitude. We would drive miles to avoid eating here again.

The remolded bakery was done .to a degree of top notch level. That made my family feel like we were in are own home. I have travel all over this countery .and have never ate pizza.like thier hand toss pizza.so the next time you are in silver lake. Stop by the Golden Bakery.and have a small piece of heven.
