Moving to the area from Lapeer I needed to purchase some pvc to finish a project. I failed to observe an Employee only sign… when I was checking out at the newly reopened register, the clerk had to request a price check, at which time an employee came to the counter and asked me if I had helped myself to the pipe while informing me of the sign I failed to acknowledge. I apologized stating I didn’t see the sign an it wouldn’t happen again to which he responded saying it was a big huge pink sign and hard to miss bla bla bla…. When he returned with the price he continued to reprimand me for my actions… I don’t go to store to be lectured. I had already apologized and said it wouldn’t happen again. This employee’s attitude has prompted me to drive to Lapeer’s Home Depot for the remainder of my building needs. This happened back in October but everytime I go to Home Depot I remember this and today as I’m placing a $7,000 order with Home Depot for the next construction phase I felt it was time to let management know the business they are missing out on.

Neiman's, formally Wingart's, Isa great little hardware in the city of Mayville, MI.It is well stocked and prices seem to be fair for not being a big box store. As for being bought out I expect prices to jump as I have seen in their grocery area. But easier to pay an extra 10% than to travel 20 miles to bbs.

Employees are knowledgeable and helpful. The products are slightly pricy, but always great quality. Most of the time they have exactly what I need and it is easy to find.
