Store is clean. Shelves stocked well. Prices displayed boldly and products lined up nice. Store smells nice. Employees polite. Management always around and helpful. Perhaps the restrooms could be improved, a bit sad. Like the direction of the store. Nice improvements all around.

I was appalled upon entering the deli department. The area that had access to food in the middle of the deli was filthy, food, smeared where products sat, checked a few items, and left them there. Some of the bread looked old and dry. I went through the remainder of the store and bought a couple of good deals. Not the store I was used to but haven't been there in years. The pizza must be good as the smell was amazing and the line started quickly as people were getting out of work. Don't know if I would stop again, maybe if I quickly needed something if I was going by.

We shop at Aldi's now. Can't really afford to shop here any more. It's a shame. Been going to wingerts for 40 years and now can't afford to even just buy meat here.Edit. Stopped to get a prescription that was called in yesterday. 24 hours ago. Prescription is not ready. Why is it taking 24 hours to fill a prescription? Will be getting them elsewhere now as well.

The fact that they still aren't accepting wic after months of being open is ridiculous. I have to drive out of my way to get formula and baby food instead of going only 5 minutes to this store. The people at the pharmacy are always rude and never have anything ready on time. Their prices are pretty high as well.

The Prices at Neiman's are through the roof since the store changed ownership from Wingert's. I noticed the price increases almost immediately when the store changed ownership.Somebody is apparently lining their pockets from all these price increases.Even the hamburger doesn't seem to be as good a quality as it used to be when Wingert's owned the store.I'm glad I live in the Marlette area so I don't have to depend on this store for my regular shopping.

Stopped in the other day for some deli chicken. Staff was super rude and when I asked for two thighs (you could see the chicken leg was dry) I was denied. I bit into the chicken leg and it was like trying to eat toothpicks it was so dry. Waste of money and a waste of my time. When this store was Wingerts I never had any issues. My daughter bought some wings and she said it was like chewing bubblegum. Not recommended and if your passing through I would suggest to keep on going to either Lapeer or Caro.

They still do not accept WIC. Employees seem to be nice but I was made very uncomfortable by one of the managers. He was goggling my chest as I was checking out. I needed to return something and didn’t have any problems with that; but, the store is VERY pricy.

Miss our Wingerts. Ever since “Neimans” bought them out, the store has had serious issues with expiration dates. The worst is their meat dept. Almost every single package is set to expire the day you buy it. Why would I want to spend a premium over Walmart pricing on meat that I have to freeze immediately upon getting home?! Same goes for produce. They had a pallet full of russet potatoes with literally all the bags growing spuds in the store!! Place has gone downhill fast and the Neiman company is taking advantage of the fact that their new store is located in a community where the next closest grocery is 20+ min drive.

Making good progress in turning the Wingert store into Neiman's. Soon it may beneficial to shop here than driving 40 miles round trip to save 3 cents.

I called to order two pizza. Half of my household has a dairy allergy, the other half doesn't. So I always order one with extra sauce and no cheese. It's never been a problem. Even when Neiman's was Wingert's. But the man that answered hung up like it was a prank call when I tried to order my pizza. I tried to call back. My phone said call was ended, not about a dropped call. But I gave the benefit of the doubt. The deli wouldn't accept my call after that. I haven't tried ordering pizza there since. And I shouldn't have to justify why I want a pizza with no cheese. However, the guy that had answered could have just asked if he thought it was a fake order. When I've ordered like that elsewhere, they asked if it was for an allergy and I said yes.

I know I’m not the only person who’s been through this and have seen many others talk about this amongst other issues. But whoever is STOCKING THE BEVERAGES, NEVER STOCKS REGULAR FLAVOR REDBULL IN ANY SIZE CAN!! Get it together folks you run a business. Let’s act like it and stop worrying about talking to people and get some work done. Weingerts did a fantastic job running this business and it’s very sad to say Neimans is already showing their true colors. Not to mention they hardly have ANY BAKERY ITEMS ANYMORE!! take pride in your work or find a diffent trade that you will and serve your community and do it with dignity.

Finally after several months, their muffins are sold at a higher than proximity price levels but at least not more than double like when this once fine, friendly and affordable prices stopped being Wingerts anymore.

So i dont live in this area but work in this area. Ive been stopping in on my lauch everyday to get something out of the deli for lunch. Today i did the same thing but seen a rib stand outside. So after buying pasta salad i go outside to where the ribs are. I asked if this is where i purchases them. They were nice and told me how to purchase them. So i go back inside to the nice lady that helped me the first time. Her line was full so i waited. The lady 2 registers down said she could help me. Pasta salad still in hand i walked into her lane. I told her I would like the ribs outside and i already paid for my salad. She asked for the receipt i said i didnt get one from the other cashier she said well then you'll have to wait to be rung up. I made weird face as to are you for real. The lady who i bought my pasta salad from lane was full. My cashier began to say hey did she really buy this like 3 times while im standing in line with people from in the store looking at me. So embarrassing
