3 people behind the counter. 2 standing around doong nothing. whime 1 is putting away stock and customers have to wait fir that employee to come ring you up. the other 2 are foing nothing. but this is typical for sny dollar general.

Closes early randomly and doesn't hang signs to indicate such. I can understand if understaffed, but let people know you closed so they don't walk up to the door to walk in. Everything looks like they would be open. Multiple cars were there before me with people talking. They said they had been trying to call and got no answer either. But the sign said open.*Edited* to add that they have since got new management. So far, that issue seems delt with. But the store is pretty messy to walk through. I have seen other Dollar Generals worse, though, when it comes to walkability. I'll give it an extra star to make it two. But I'm really not sure someone with mobility issues would be able to navigate so easily.

Used to be my favorite dollar general. The store used to always be stocked and clean. According to the “new” employees everyone who worked there before got fired. As a customer I really don’t appreciate hearing the employees talking bad of the workers who got fired and I definitely don’t like hearing them swearing obnoxiously while I’m shopping.

Was in this dollar general store on 4-1-23 very cluttered got what we needed for birthday party got to the counter to check out customer in front of us had a few items in her cart cashier who was a younger skinny long black hair with glasses no name tag kept laying top part of her body on counter leaving counterkept going into office while checking customer out finally our turn went to start unloading my cart same cashier lays on counter looks up at me while still laying on counter and rudely says to me give me a minute she then left the counter to the office so I in return left my cart of items at the counter and walked out . I went to a competitors store and got my items.

This location is awful. The workers are hiding down aisles gossiping and you have to hunt them down to check out. They are extremely rude and the store looks like a tornado ran through it.

This location has gotten so much better since a handful of staff no longer work here. Unfortunately on this particular visit there was an extremely rude young female clerk who went out of her way to insult me! Aside from this incident this location is always well stocked an neat. The manager Kathy is awesome too.

The pictures currently shown is not what the store looks like. You can only put money on cards in the morning when the manager is there. The staff in this location changes out often.

The store in Mayville Michigan is in desperate need of management change from store manager to District manager. I stopped shopping there, I live next door. Drive 25 mile roundtrip to shop elsewhere. PITIFUL I really enjoy the Dollar General, but not this one.

This is a newly built dollar general.it is clean and well kept. Hopefully it stays like that. I've seen some really unkempt dollar generals . This one isn't one of them. Good job!
