We've been coming to the Jug for years. We live in the area and the owners are wonderful. The customers are always friendly and it has a welcoming atmosphere. The food has always been good and the price is very reasonable. Thanks again as always!!! We eat in and on the busy days I will call in an order on my way home. They always have it done and ready to pick up.

We had a memorial motorcycle ride planned in advance and what we had planned fell through. We called last minute before the ride to see what they could do to help. The staff was very polite on the phone and said that there would be no problem that she would make it happen. They brought extra staff aboard to accommodate us. There was approximately 30 or so bikes and some of us had a passenger. Amanda, Heather and Mary was more than on top of there game. Service was top notch. They pulled together as a team and we had the best service we have ever had as big group. They kept smiling the whole time and never seemed overwhelmed. They made us feel at home and we were well taken care of. Not to mention the warriors behind the scene cooking our food. Cory, Mike and Jake’s determination and accuracy kept the food coming out quick and on point! Presentation was there and food was excellent. Everyone was able to eat at the same time which was critical so we could get to our destination. You guys together make a great team and definitely hit a home run in our book! Keep up the good work and we will definitely be back!

We've been here couple of times before and the food was decent. This time, it wasn't. Burger was terribly dry and was ordered medium not well well done. I ordered Shrimp Po Boy, what a mistake. I have never had a Po Boy on a hamburger bun with dried cabbage on it. 5 little Shrimp that fell off when you try to eat it because it's on a hamburger bun. Would not recommend getting this. Not worth the money at all. Gonna think about coming back here again.

Super cute place, friendly staff. Steady flow of people. Lots of seating, onion rings were so good and the cheese sauce for the pretzel bites was amazing!! Smothered chicken, prime rib steak and ribs all come with the salad bar, a potato, vegetable, it was all worth the drive to a small town in the middle of no where.

Used to be good but not anymore. Ordered perch and used to get 5 full pieces, this time they cut into three little pieces so it was like getting 1 and 1/2 pieces of fish. Third time nor happy with food. Will not go again.

It's still one of our favorites. Today we enjoyed a hearty mac and cheese topped with chicken, and one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. Highly recommended.Little Brown Jug is our go to place for family gatherings! They are a great place to stop for an awesome meal anytime, but they can also take on our group of 20 and run it efficiently. Meals are hearty and fresh, everyone can order what they're craving, and they manage to bring it out quickly. Staff is friendly and they often feel like family. The place is clean, and you can sit at the bar or choose a table for more of a restaurant feel. It's one of our favorite places to be.

My last restaurant visit before officially going into indefinite hibernation due to quarantine. While the dairy is still echoing a distant cry of pain from my abdomen, my lactose-intolerance is no match for my cheese addiction.Do yourself a favor and stop by- everything was quick and suuuuper fresh. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. No complaints at all!

The place is very friendly. It most certainly has the feel of a close community restaurant. Some of the ingredients are locally sourced which is probably the secret to the freshness of the food. The home cooked quality is a rare treat indeed. Recently moved into the area and decided to try a local restaurant. So glad we did. Every thing we ordered was delicious 😋. I had the Perch dinner and the Husband got a seafood platter. We will definitely visit this culinary gem again.

Nestled in downtown Maybee The Little Brown Jug is much more than a local pub. Great place to gather with family and friends. A great selection of craft beers and spirits. The menu has something for everyone.

The food was delicious and once we were able to place our order it was timely. However, getting someone to wait on us was painful. We sat for 5 minutes waiting to place a drink order and get the menu. After that, our waitress sat at a table with her back to the room playing with her phone and talking with other waitstaff. At least 10 minutes later she finally came and asked if we were ready to place our order. When our food was ready another waitress actually told her and she went to get it. She never checyon us until right before we were finished and she brought the check. We again sat for several minutes waiting for her to come get our payment. Each time she would sit and play with her phone. Not that we want someone hovering but paying attention would go a long way to a better tip. We rarely tip less than 20% and are not adverse to tipping more but I didn't this time. We drove 1/2 hour to eat somewhere different and would only go back because of the food.

Very unhappy, huge party in there west side seating , tried to set closer to the bar, barmaid trying to take our order. Totally way over what she could handle ( because of under staffing) tried to move into regular seating , meet with the manager & a trainee saying she knew we were seating in bar area( already had an attitude? ) If you know you have a large party why short a couple trying to have a quiet quick meal?( staffing issue)I have ate in that establishment for more than 25 yrs and will never go there again. Bring back Ginnie.

if you order any kind of seafood you will be highly disappointed it all taste like old frozen food and the shrimp still has the vein in it (digestive track) because of that i did not eat them the fish and clam strips were way over cooked and both had a rubber texture the fries were ice cold and also like rubber I definitely would never recommend this restaurant
