My mom and I tried Chinn Chinn for the first time. When you walk in, it's a little dark, but the restaurant has fun decor, lots of pictures of family, and neon signs for dine in and carry out. The only downside we noticed was our table was a little sticky.The service staff are young, but kind and quick. Our server gave great recommendations, and welcomed us warmly.As we were waiting, we noted the cooks using great food handling, fresh produce being brought in, and that was very encouraging to us.The food came out hot and delicious. We ordered smaller bites so we were able to try the chocolate cake, and it was good, but not the best cake I've ever had.Overall, my mom and I decided we would definitely come again. The food served around us really drew us in, and made us want to order more. We'll be back!

I went to this place for the first time over the weekend and it was packed. However, I noticed that the service was very quick and we got a table in 15 minutes even when there were 3 other families waiting before us.Although the food was good, it wasn't as good as the reviews say it is. Also, I think the fried vegetables were a little bit too oily.

This place is truly a gem. We’ve been going here for over a decade and even after moving an hour and a half away — we know we’ll get the same flavors we know and love every time we walk through these doors.The food is amazing. Packed full of flavor, great portion sizes, and plenty of amazing options. The rangoons are a must have, they go great with pineapple chili salsa that comes with your crispy wontons. Our go-to entrees are the Mongolian beef and the Kung Pao Chicken. The fried rice is top notch, and I always go home with an extra side of it because it’s so good. Also try the cool noodles! And if you go for lunch, the lunch combos are great portions as well!

The food is great. Unique dishes and flavors will keep you coming back to try something new each time. Surprisingly great presentation, worthy of a much more upscale restaurant. The environment was cosy, busy, lively, and a little rushed. It is not a quiet, relaxing, or romantic place, but has a very nice comfortable home town family feel.Prices were a bit more than one would expect for Chinese food but the high quality of the dishes make up for that. If the same food was offered in an upscale restaurant you would expect to pay way more for it.We would not travel nearly an hour to come back but if we find ourselves in the area we would most definitely stop in for another great meal.As newcomers, we felt a bit like a fish our of water. The paper printed menu was not very helpful. They may have a nice online menu with pictures of their dishes but we didn't look because our cell phone service was poor at that location. If they don't, I highly recommed doing one.Our server though was very helpful, giving us several recommendations, which helped us to make our food choice.We had the spicy Korean beef and Mongolian beef and a side of fried rice. All was delicious. Good portions. The wife brought some home for next days lunch.

This was my second visit to Chin Chin and I was very happy with my meal and experience! The prices of the food in relation to the amount of food you get is great! Below you will see pictures of the Hibachi Chicken I ordered and general pictures of the restaurant. This place is not ideal for large groups and you’ll need to be patient to get a table. But overall it is worth the wait. A must try in Southwest Michigan!

One of the best Asian restaurants we have been to around the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek area. The entire staff greeted us and were very welcoming. The food was wonderful we had the KFC, Pad Thai and the Bibimbap. The servings per dish were not small and definitely worth the price. We can’t wait for our next visit!!

Chinn Chinn rolls with the most delicious food in SW Michigan. This statement takes me out on a limb but I honestly feel this way. I've enjoyed their exceptionally high quality food for over 20 years. Get the spring rolls doesn't matter veggie or beef & cheese they are the bomb! I could easily eat a dozen of them. Go spicy by ordering #10 heat. Get a side of peanut butter sauce and put that on top of your white rice. I had the Mongolian beef with a side of chili oil. I can't get enough of this place....absolutely prime food with excellent service. Thanks Chinns for 20+ years!

We were there for a networking lunch. Food was excellent, as always. They have a great lunch selection of appetizers and entrees allow you to choose a protein, sauce, and two sides. Server was wonderful for our large group. Atmosphere is a bit loud because tables are close together with only 1 wall, but if you know that going in, enjoy your food and time with companions. It's well worth it!Dietary restrictions: They handled the dietary restrictions of a group member perfectly.

First time going here we heard very good things about it. It was difficult to get a reservation but after a 30 minute wait we finally made it in. The place seemed cleaned and a lot off unused space but was very warming and comfortable. We were immediately waited on by Grace who was very nice and helpful. The menu was a little hard to understand but Grace was so kind to help us figure out what to order. The food arrived and everything had a unique taste that was pleasing to the palet. With outstanding service and great food I give them 5 stars. We will be back and definitely recommend this place.

This place was fantastic and our waiter was wonderful. We stopped on our way through on a whim and I am.so glad we did. I had the pad Thai, my mom had ribs, my dad had the crab cakes and we enjoyed the cucumber chicken salad and spring rolls. Dip the spring rolls in the sauce served with the crunchy things! So good!

Fun fact: Around 20% of the human population experiences the phenomenon of cilantro tasting like soap. Please mention on the menu when the food is going to have a mountain of cilantro on it so that 1 in 5 people that enter your restaurant and don't think to ask for no cilantro when it's not mentioned don't have to suffer their $20 dish tasting like Dawn.I enjoy eating here, but it's disheartening that the burden is on the customer to assume all food will have cilantro all over it when it isn't mentioned on the menu or specials anywhere.

I have been going for their food since they opened their takeout place and I get treated well whenever I go. Their food is excellent and I have never eaten anything in there that I didn’t like because everything is made fresh and to order everyday. Also, One of the few places to go when you walk in you are immediately acknowledged and when you leave they say goodbye without fail. I have to say I find it hard to match up any other oriental restaurants to them and if you leave there hungry or not full it will be your own fault.. 😁Parking: At peak hours Chinns is always . There is a sports bar and Papa John’s pizza place in the plaza so parking can be difficult at times

Chinn Chinn is the best Restaurant in SW Michigan. Excellent take out service. Dine in or Take out. Very busy place. Number one in service and value. Best restaurant in Mattawan. Right off of I-94 Interstate. Everything is delicious on the menu. 2 sides with the entrée. I am having Kung Pao Shrimp with steamed rice, cool noodles, and udon noodles.

Ordered the Bebimbop , and wonton soup. I have ordered this dish in other authentic Korean restaurants so I have high expectations . It was pretty good but I would not consider exceptional. I've been wanting to try this place for a few years it's always been really busy , and today it was not so busy I was able get in right away and get seated. From reading other reviews I thought this place was going to be better. But , I was will give 5 stars for the service from Sarah K. I will return and try another dish .

I came in to place a carry out order on the Christmas Eve blizzard of 2022 and decided to stay and dine in because the staff was so friendly. The Jasmine Green Tea was so delicious even without added sugar. Which was complementary along with the ragoons and crunchies with Pineapple Chili Salsa, Sweet & Sour and the Spicy Mustard… so good!! My main meal was Green Curry - Chicken and I chose level 7 spice out of 10, juuust right. And that came with white rice and a couple of grapes to cleanse the palate for dessert. A+ all around! And also my complements to the chef!

This spot is amazing! True hidden gem. Every time I have been here the food is outstanding, and they also have a full bar and feature Michigan made spirits and drafts. The staff is friendly and prompt. 10/10 recommend.Parking: Wrap around parking lot-parking should never be an issue even when they are at full capacity.

Food is delicious and fresh. They don't accept reservations, and the wait can be long. The desserts were so good. The staff was especially friendly and went above and beyond to take care of us. Two servers that stood out to us were Megan and LA, both were amazing. Food is a little pricey, but the quality was there. The chicken fried rice was the best we've ever had, we ordered the entree portion and we had no leftovers it was that good.
