Visited this store about 20 years ago and had the opportunity to go back last week. I don't remember much about what they had my first visit and I didn't know how to quilt then. This store has it all...a little furniture, toys, home decor, greeting cards, a candy counter and fabric. Each department has enough that anyone can surely find something; however, my friend and I were mostly interested in their fabric for quilting. We bought a few things and a couple of days later went back. Mason is a charming town, municipal parking is available behind Kean's and Los Tres Amigos is a great Mexican restaurant for a quick bite while shopping!

Very pleased with Kean’s. They have amazing stock from Hallmark cards to fine clothing and furniture, quality children’s section, fabric, awesome candy and household items. It’s a fun store to browse. They called me to let me know a Hallmark ornament I ordered was in. Staff is always so sweet.

Kean's is one of my favorite places. They have a great selection of gifts along with items you simply "must have". The staff are all wonderful. Margaret Ross jewelry customade in the back, Vera Bradley, Brighton, Hallmark, ... you can spend so much time wandering in this store.

Upscale variety store with small bargain basement. Sells Melissa & Doug toys (fun play area), needlepoint and quilting supplies, women's and infant's clothing, Hallmark cards and gifts, postcards, candy by the pound, collectibles and home decor. Bought a crispy white chocolate deviled egg!

I took my granddaughter to this unique little throwback place because I wanted her to experience a little bit of what I did and my childhood. From the time you open the door, you're nostrils are filled with amazing smells. It's such a mixture of wonderful fragrances along with popcorn and candy and took me back again to my childhood. My granddaughter absolutely loved the old fashioned candy counter. You can buy a lot of old school candies that you can't find other places. We found her grandfather's favorite along with her favorite and the best part is you can buy it by the piece or by the pound just like back in the day. The biggest surprises were little area with Vera Bradley and a fabric area. We loved the Hallmark ornament section which had even some ornaments that are already hard to come by this year. The staff was friendly and served up the popcorn with a smile. We love the little shopping bag that we brought our goodies home in. There are so many beautiful clothes, classy novelties and toys that are nice quality, that I could have shopped for everyone for Christmas. My 12-year-old granddaughter said it was one of the best days we've had and she said that Keans is now one of her favorite places to go. We will make another trip soon for sure. If you are coming to Mason, take a little time and stop by. You will really be glad you did.

This store has something for everyone of all ages! You just have to look around. There are all sorts of cool things you don't typically see anywhere else, it is very unique. I would recommend coming here any day of the week! It's amazing!!

I LOVED everything about this place! What an awesome little gem, that is a throwback to the old dime store! They even have a candy counter where they weigh your selections and bag them up in front of you. They have a little of everything and it's displayed in such fun, eye catching ways! I came wait to visit again! I can't believe it took me so long to find this place, but now that I have, I will visit often!! The staff is super friendly too, so you feel like you're transported back in time from the minute toy walk in the door! It's so with the trip!!

This is a gem of a store and has been around for decades. A great place to find a gift or something for yourself. They have a tasteful selection of jewelry, clothing items, kitchen gadgets, toys, and Mason-made goods. They also sell fabric and tons of holiday items. Lastly, they have an old-style candy counter where you can select from a hundred or so candies and buy in whatever quantity you like.

The best cards, gifts, hobby supplies and decorations around! This place is so fun to walk around and shop all of their unique items. This family business has been a key attraction of Mason and part of the Kean family for over 3 generations. They even have the original old fashioned candy counter! A restaurant will be opening again soon next door. I recommend you plan so time to enjoy the store and the Mason community!

Great selection of multiple different items! Clothes, Toys, crafts, cards, cards, books, candles, candy flags, kitchen ware, stationery, purses etc! There are many great items in this store. Everything is spaced out so you don't get overwhelmed. Staff was nice. Recommend everyone shop local to keep theses great places open!!

Fun store. A counter with handmade candy, a Hallmark store attached, fun toys to buy and lots of things to look at. They have a play area for kids and a fabric section for those that sew. A nice to place to visit to mosey around. Very clean and super friendly staff.

When I was a kid we use to go picking strawberries in Mason and ended that trip each year with stopping off at Keans to pick out treats from their old fashion candy counter, It was magical! When I became a parent we continued the tradition. It is a awesome to now treat my g-babies to Keans. I do not live, nor have I ever lived in Mason but they are my go to for gifts. It can be hard to buy for kids, they seem to have everything already. I know whatever I pick up at Keans will be unique AND loved. More than once I have called Keans and asked if they could pick out a gift. I will describe the person, give them a budget and arrive a couple of hours later and pick up my WRAPPED gift. It is perfect everytime! Im thrilled they now have online shopping! Thanks for all the memories and excited to create new ones. One day my grandkids will be leaving you raving reviews!

My mom and I love Keans! They have lots of classic toys, candy, local goods, Hallmark items like cards and seasonal ornaments, fabrics, and many other interesting finds as well. The staff is wonderful here and their store (including the bathrooms) are always clean!

Very lovely place in downtown Mason. I was told by a friend to visit this store if ever I was in the Mason area. Clean and beautifully decorated.I was pleasantly surprised that they had old fashioned candy and trinkets. So many unique toys and things to choose from. Its definately a store that you would have to spend alot of time in to look at everything! Our cashier Elaine was beautiful and pleasant. We enjoyed speaking to her and she gave us information about events coming up at the store. Its definately worth checking out. The mural outside the store is beautiful. I will be back.

It is a fun store to go into. They have a variety of things to look at and buy. It has been in Mason a long time. They have a candy counter that you can get different kinds. Also they have candy that they will bag up how much you want or there are some that are already in containers and priced to buy. There is parking in front or behind the building. Got some candy and a bottle stopper. Stop the next time you are in Mason. There are other shops to visit while you are there also.

The home of Mason's original ¢5 and ¢10 store lives on as a great family owned store of many things. I always find something new and fun. Craft items, sewing, Hallmark cards, gift items, and cool toys - the old fashioned non-computer kind! In the back corner, a hidden gem, is Margaret Ross Jewelry too. Margaret has her studio there along with a selection of her pieces for sale.Oh yeah - the old candy counter is cool too.
