There was an older woman who was working here was very rude and made some disrespectful comments towards me when I all I was doing was asking for certain item very unprofessional I understand it's just a dollar store but I left that place very angry due to the comments that were made

OMG I just have had enough of this store. Cannot tell you how many times I have been there in middle of day and it's closed ..with a sign on the door that reads "closed for a little while" come back half hour later..still closed.. the place looks like a Thrift store.. so many items not priced.. This last week I am struggling at the self check out with my credit card as the cashier is staring at me..I ask her..Is it not working? She said it's "cash only " I told her .."you see me struggling with my card you are standing there and you say nothing? She responds ..there is a sign at the front door.. OMG the sign was about 4×4 inches.. I told her ..why not put a sign at the self check out... she ignored me... Wow..

I shop at Dollar General ALL THE TIME. The $5.00 savings on Saturday is AWESOME. The Mason, Michigan store is the BEST 👌. VERY CLEAN AND NEAT. GREAT STAFF

No masks on staff, only change for the pandemic is plastic screens at the checkout and marks on the floor for standing in line. Look out for yourself, because this business will not!!Keep your expectations low here and it's ok. Usually understaffed, but getting better at having the checkout attended all the time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient when you just need a couple items, UNLESS Sheila is working the register.

I normally dont write reviews at all. But this place made me feel ignored and like they didnt want me there.I came in to grab 3 items, found that no one was in front and they were stocking new product. Doing their job while talking to maybe another customer real loud, cussing talking about their friend setting them up on a date with their boss. I walk by them to finish my shopping and head to the front.I go to register 1 and wait. And wait. I start looking down the aisle and see they are stillStocking and talking to the customer. I wave the guy down a couple times as we made eye contact. Still nothing. After waiting for maybe five minutes and thinking of leaving my stuff there a woman finally comes up. Doesn't apologize, asks if I found everything okay before she made it to the register. I say yeah. Scans my stuff with a quickness, so I pay with my card. She asks if I want a receipt before I'm done entering my card info, I say no. She turns her back, tells me to take my card out and says have a good day. I kid you not she almost ran into me as i walked by to leave to rush back to what she was doing.Now is this common to leave the register unattended and have the customer try to flag you down?All i wanted was to be treated decently. I hope a secret shopper comes in soon.

I have been in and out of numerous dollar general stores of over the past few years and I have noticed that this location more than others in mason MI like so many of their other locations is very dirty, does not :face shelves,pull food outdates, and seems to discriminate against better employees to attract liberal groups of insubordinate. Many of their store brands are low quality or don't taste right but what is worse many of them have been outdated on occasions. YUCK!

Just stopped in to pick up some stuff up. Due to my diabetes, I have an uncontrollable bladder. The sign on the "public" restroom said to "ask associate for key". I found the employee and asked if I could use the restroom before shopping, to which she told me that the restrooms were only for the employees. Due to her not having any empathy for my unique circumstances, Dollar General will no longer be recieving my business. This has truly been a disappointing experience, and I will let others know that this is how customers with medical conditions are treated.

Music was so loud in some of the isle's you you couldn't hear what the next person was saying and my friend couldn't have their hearing aids in cause it was blowing his ear drums plus can't get down the isles

My go to store!! Great staff, helpful, loving.. most everything you need in a smaller atmosphere. The refrigerator section could be bigger but they accommodate beautifully!

Do NOT ever go in their in the evening if you are looking for a convenience store . ALWAYS one worker and a line of people. Mentioned it multiple times when most people are only needing one or two items but have to sit in line longer than 5 minutes to purchase it.

Cashier on phone while waiting on customers. Face mask not covering nose at all and only part of mouth. Aisles filled with stock including shelves with unopened cases which made it difficult to get to things. Floor throughout dirty

As the holidays approach, more cashier's need to be working and not going outside to smoke a cigarette!! No one should have to wait in line for 5 -10 minutes to get checked out!

Most of the employees are very helpful and friendly. The only draw back is, that the store is very crowded with overflow of product and makes it seem messy.
