My dog has been a client of Tara's for almost 12 years. She is the best of the best when it comes to grooming. You can feel her love for dogs when you walk into the salon and see all the work and education she has put into her passion. Tara herself is a wonderful person that you feel absolutely comfortable leaving your fur babies to get pampered and loved. In my personal opinion there is no better place then Star Gazers and no better Groomer then Tara.

Very sad to say I took my dog to Star Gazers for 10 yrs. for her nail clippings. Last week I took her as usual and it was a terrible job, some in the front were never trimmed. I called 5 days later and explained and wanted to take her back for them to be fixed. I spoke to the owner Tara and she said She trims her dogs nails every three to four days. They grow fast and I can bring her in. I said will you be charging me again? She responded She will charge me accordingly. I explained I didn't think it was right in a good way. I asked her if She would consider that I was just there She said we do the best we can do. So I responded I would be going some place else. Which I did in Saint Clair .I have to say I loved this place the lady spoke gently as She clipped her nails very much shorter, with no bleeds. Very Professional.

Tara has taken care of my dramatic Husky for years. He always comes home very happy and beautiful. It’s hard to get an appointment because she is so desired as a groomer. I won’t go anywhere else. Be sure to plan ahead when scheduling!!

We have been a customer of Stars Gazers for many years. Tara does an excellent job.Once you've tried the rest try Star Gazers.They are the best.Tara travels to many Dog Shows and has received many Awards with her dogs.

I brought my husky here a few years ago and 5 minutes later they called me to come pick him up. They said they couldn't groom him because he bit one of their employees. First....they wouldn't show me the bite mark. Second....they did something to his back legs because ever since he's been really sensitive and won't let anyone touch his back legs and if you do....he nips at you. And they charged me $10 for what I don't know. I had to choose 1 star but in reality they deserve 0 stars.

Not my normal place since my usual was closed for unknown reason and she didn't want to take the patience with my dog that is sensitive to trimming since a local groomer head cut him to the quick one too many times. So now he's going to be more scared because she kept pulling on his feet and legs instead of letting him relax or letting me hold him.

FABULOUS!!!! Nicole and her crew really love what they do and it shows! I had never taken my cats to a groomer before so I was crying like a little baby when it was time to leave them. Nicole assured me that everything would be fine and even IMed me updates on how my girls were doing while they were there to put my mind at ease! She was able to get all 3 of my kitties groomed at the same time which was super convenient! After their visit they were clean, soft and fresh smelling...for about an hour before they escaped and ran into the dirty basement, but that's another story...LOL I definitely recommend Star Gazers for your pet grooming needs!

Horrible! RUN FROM THIS GROOMER BEFORE WALKING INTO A NIGHTMARE. In business, everything speaks...I should have walked away when I came to my 8am appointment and NOBODY was at the shop. As I waited for someone to open the door, I had time to look around. The parking area is filthy with tall weeds growing next to the front door. Once Nicole arrived 13 minutes late, she proceeded to give me excuses as to why she was late rather than an apology. When I was completing the registration forms, Nicole was obsessed with the dead flies on the counter and floor saying she "cleaned them up yesterday and they are back again."I gave her instructions on my Scottie's cut to leave a FULL beard and chest, slight flag on the tail and no glands. I have owned Scotties for 40 years and THE CUT WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN ON A SCOTTISH TERRIER! The beard was nearly completely removed, except for a tiny goatee on the tip of his chin, his chest was cut close all around his arms leaving a puff of hair only in the middle of his chest, and he dealt with irritated anal glands, (obviously expressed) for a week after the cut. My husband picked up our dog and when he returned home I called Nicole to express my disappointment. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it right the next groom or return my money, she argued with me on how she is a master groomer and these are new standards and she did a wonderful job! The only time a job is wonderful is when it is to my expectation...not yours Nicole....I have reported this groomer to my vet who gave me the recommendation who agreed with my assessment.

We had an appointment today to get our cat groomed and I picked him up and he was half unshaved because he wasn’t cooperating. I understand that if he’s being uncooperative to not finish the job but I was still charged $50 ($10 more than what I spent last time). On top of that I was was charged a $15 for a “no show” fee because supposedly my appointment was the Wednesday before. I know 100% that’s untrue. Our first visit was wonderful and this one was a disaster. We won’t be back.

Great place to take our Sheltie and Chinese Crested. Nicole is wonderful and our pets always come home looking great. All the ladies are friendly and willing to share tips to better take care of our pups. Highly recommend!

Nicole is a kitty wonder. Not many people want to take on giving a cat a bath, but she took on our rebellious long haired female without cringing and did a beautiful job on her. Our thanks to her and Stargazers.

My teacup poodles LOVED the ladies at stargazers. Their clips were exacting and to standard. They are a rustic shop but very clean and the groomers are polite, willing to accommodate the clients grooming requests. Best of luck to them.

They are very friendly and I loved that my pup always gets its nails filed, other places leave the nails sharp, and also the price is not bad!!!

This is our second visit and i think we have found the groomer for us!! I have a finicky and temperamental chi/pom mix with skin conditions...he took to Nicole right away...looked awesome and smelled great both times!!! Highly recommend!

I have been taking my Scottie Dogs to Star Gazers for many years. They do a fabulous job. Both of my Scotties look like real Scotty Dogs. I would recommend Star Gazers to anyone with a Scottie Dog, or any other type of dog. They love dogs and it shows!!

I came here with three dogs and one dog had to have a cone on her head cuz she just got out of the vets from her check up and the lady cut all three dogs toe nails within 10 minutes I was in and out the door with no hassle it was the best experience for me and my dog's I would recommend stargazers for anyone
