Good place to go if you have dogs and decent for cats, if you have any other pet their stock is extremely limited if there at all. Staff were nice

Awesome little pet store!! Has a great variety of just about everything you could need for your pet. Great selection and great customer service. Very competitive and reasonable prices. The employees are very kind and helpful and supporting a local non corporate business is always a plus in my opinion. You will not be disappointed and you can feel good about supporting a small business. Can't recommend highly enough

Okay so what I’m about to say may not sound like a positive at first, but it is, first some things I like:The store is beautifully set up, there’s no clutter and things are organized in a satisfying manner. The staff were very sweet and ready to help. The tanks for the fish were perfect! Gosh it was so nice to see betas not in cups and ten million goldfish feeding off each other in a five gallon tank. They very obviously care for their animals and customers given today’s experience.They received a shipment of bad goldfish, the staff treating them for mites. They seemed to know what they are doing and I feel really at ease knowing that they care enough to not only ask that they not be purchased so that I may not hurt when they die (mites are hard to remove especially on fish and death for me, a poor teen incapable of affording treatment,) and to avoid infecting my tank, but they even recommended other places and personally apologized.That may sound negative but I’m glad this place is not willing to knowingly supply infected fish for money. The tanks were clean and well kept so I know that those fish are in good hands.I will one hundred percent be returning to buy a beta fish for my five gallon once I have the chance.PS, the cat was adorable and that alone deserves five stars-

We were loyal shoppers here and tried to buy local as often as we could. Today, for the first time I was told I "Must" wear a mask shop. That is perfectly fine as they are a private business and can make whatever rules they choose to. I too have the right to decide weather or not I wear a mask and where I shop. I left without making a purchase, went home and ordered my product from Chewy for less with free shipping. We will not be returning to this store.

I have been to every pet store in the the area and they are the best prices for food for reptiles and habitat needs. They have a good staff who care about animals and I look forward to seeing them every Monday. They have everything from cat medicine to specific fish accessories, you wouldn't believe it. It's worth it for me to drive two towns over. I highly suggest them.

Lovely little shop with a huge selection! Prices are a bit high, but worth it if there's something special you're looking for. Supplies for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish- including live crickets. Decent selection of fish and supplies for setting up an aquarium. Always very friendly- love the store cats!

Every time I go in the people are nice. I love seeing that the employees not just love the animals but they seem to like eachother. It makes the store a happier environment to shop in. Plus they always have things I can't find at other stores that my guinea pigs, gecko, birds and cats love!!

Amazing selection, tucked into an unexpected corner of the shopping center by Tractor Supply. Staff is always friendly, and prices are fair on a huge variety of specialty pet foods. And of course, you can bring your pets. The store cat may or may not make an appearance herself. 🐈

I love this pet store so much! I live in St. Clair, not too far from t there and I like to drive there on the weekends. They always have clearance items that are 50% off, and the rest of the products I feel is fairly priced. Also, I absolutely adore the store cats! Porkey, Stiemy, and Franky. <3 The employees are always friendly. Its just an over all great place :)

Stop in if you don't already shop there. It may be worth your while. They are very courteous, pleasant and helpful. They will order what you need if they don't have it in. ... Great deals on certain brands so that when you buy so many bags, you get a bag of 🐕 dog food free. Not sure if it's available for cats or other pets. I shop there all the time.

As a frequent shopper at Classic Pet, I was very disappointed with my most current visit/purchase. I purchased a small tomato frog. I have never had an issue before with the pet store, so the no guarantee didn’t really bother me. Well, within 24 hours the frog passed away. I called the store and the owner called me back and explained the no guarantee and she couldn’t do anything. Then she stated that I probably had the set up wrong…..well, nope, turns out the store had it all wrong. They had the poor thing on a piece of carpet-nothing to burrow into. So, I had it set up with eco earth and high humidity. That is where she upset me. I did everything right and for her to say I did something wrong…. It was probably stress from going from a subpar set up to the correct one. Sorry, Classic Pet, but, you lost a loyal customer that has multiple pets that require live food as well as feeder fish.

For a small store, the selection is great. However, my only complaint is that they aren't up-to-date with "the times" as far as the loyalty program goes. They use a paper card that is initialled, and once you spend a certain dollar amount, you get 10% your next purchase.First, the amount you must spend to get that 10% is way too high. I spend a LOT of money here only to get maybe $5 off of my next purchase.Second, these paper cards are so easy to forget, lose, or share between family members. My son and I both pick up food for the dogs, so if one of us loses the card or doesn't give the card to the other, we miss out on that purchase. They will give the receipt and Mark it, but my son throws the receipts away. Just computerize the system like everyone else! Customer service is important!

Pet store is very nice and clean they have a WONDERFUL selection of everything HOWEVER I do not know if the girl in the back was having a bad day or she was just frustrated we would come in the store and took our time making a decision on a fish tank (which was my daughters money she had saved for purchasing one). She was VERY rude, not polite, I think down right irritated by us being there. We would ask a question and she was put out to answer it. We must have been in her way because she came out to clean the fish tank with hoses and buckets didn’t even say excuse me basically look at us and shoved her way through. We also enjoyed the big red bird obviously for too long so as I was walking down the isle she was coming with the bird stand once again shoving her way through No EXCUSE ME.I don’t know if she was just having one of those days but I remember taking my daughter there when she was small and for some reason I stopped I’m not sure if she worked there long but if she has I’m sure that was the reason.My kids were extremely excited about getting this tank and even both of them walk through the door saying the lady in the front was so nice and the blonde girl with glasses in the back was great it was the other girl SHE WAS RUDE!!!

Staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I got two new kittens and one of the staff members walked the store helped me make sure I got everything I needed. The place is clean and animals are very well taken care of. I highly recommend anyone to visit this store, you will not be disappointed!

Great variety of fish, dog, cat, and reptile food. I always get my feeder fish, crickets, super worms, and hornworms from here for my bearded dragon and whites tree frog and have never had a problem. Also purchased a Oscar from here and he is doing good and eating good.

Prices keep going up with no incentives nor good sales. Staff is getting sketchy with not being so friendly. Are they animal friendly? New food brands in and no one seems to be knowledgable in them. If you're going to add new brands of food make sure the literature is there and available. I used to love going here, but, the atmosphere isn't as friendly and inviting as it used to be. It's a chore now instead of a pleasant and fun experience.
