Really nice selection and variety of items. Cloths are mostly price 20$ and up, cheaper than what they would originally cost but comparable to walmart prices. Some clearance items are quite a bit cheaper but some to have obvious flaws like missing buttons. But there are lot of interesting finds here.

Miley at the Marquette store is great. I had a set of earrings I wanted but sadly one of the stones was missing and although I waited for a bit while the damaged item was discounted, Miley was nice to chat with and had such a great vibe that I didn’t mind waiting!!

I bought these identical suitcases at the Marquette TJMaxx. Upon purchasing, I asked to be given the clearance price on both. As you can see in the photo, the Samsonite tag clearly states they have the same name and model number. The manager at the store was very rude, insisting that they were different styles. But, Only the tj maxx tags show different item numbers. Kind of disappointing that tj maxx can assign the same suitcase two different item numbers then charge more for one. Not to mention the attitude on the employee. I bought them anyway, because we aren’t left with a lot of choices in the UP, but it wasn’t the best experience.

Went in for pillows, wasn’t offered their large bag for said pillows and then was told I needed a cart to take said pillows after checking out. Wasn’t offered a cart and I had literally carried the pillows from the back of the store to the register without much of an issue so I would say staff are useless and unable to help you but will tell you.

Bought a dress someone returned and there were a few things that made it 'not new condition' but wearable. Asked the cleark to inquire with a manager for a bit more of a discount. Manager didn't even look us in the eye and basically berated the worker for even asking. Just as I overheard her saying how she was promoted!

Marquette, MI location: my rating would have been higher because overall, the store was clean and well organized. There were unique items and some great deals. The restroom was another story. It had not been cleaned in awhile and was unhygienic to say the least. Then, when I got ready to pay, my debit card was declined. The cashier said something about it happening all the time to people vacationing like myself. I talked to my bank and they saw it was declined because I didn't use my PIN out of state. The card reader didn't prompt me and the cashier was oblivious. I didn't have issues at any stops previously or after. It seems like that is something they should know.

I have always loved TJ Maxx, but the one up here in Marquette has a very poor selection of men's clothing. I would say not even a quarter of what they have for women's clothing, it's very disappointing.

Always a great experience here. The cashiers makes it fast and are always nice and helpful. Great selection of products as well. Some if which you'd never find anywhere except very expensive brand stores. They have a bit of everything from toys, pet supplies, shoes, home supplies and of course brand name clothes for all ages.

My family loves this store. The prices for the quality are much more reasonable than getting them at a regular retail store. We can almost always find something that we needed when going into the store. I found it is a great place to get essential oils! Added bonus!! :)

Men's section is barren at times, or a bunch of terrible graphic tees from 90's cartoons or horror movies etc. Every once in a while I do find a hidden gem though, and I love the housewares.

I had about 10 minutes to spare before I had to head home. I stopped at the Maxx with my friend.We almost ran through the aisles. We met up twice and reviewed our carts. Off and home in 15 minutes or so...each happy with our bargains and finds!Fast service and friendly associates.Can't wait to do it again. Maybe slower.

This location has a lot of cute and awesome stuff. Please beware though because they do allow people without masks in the store. The sign on the front of the store says that masks are mandatory but this is not true. Went there today and saw 3 people without masks happily shopping and when brought to the attention of the people when checking out they did not seem to care. If you are immunocompromised you might want to stay away.

Normally I have a pretty good experience here at my local TJ, but today was BY FAR THE WORST. One of the employees, never caught her name (her badge wasn’t visible, which I don’t really care because I know that’s something you can’t help at times) she was just rude with her approach. I understand that during this time there are certain protocols that the employees have to go through but being rude IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I also understand that customers can be difficult, I myself deal with the complicated ones as well. But you as the employee should know better! I am by far disappointed with that interaction. Everyone else in the store was WONDERFUL and nice and very chill about it, but whoever the Asian, short, dark haired girl was, that had on the dark green blouse. Unacceptable. Her attitude, her tone of voice.I’m sorry for writing such a lengthy review, but I'm not happy with that interaction never EVER have I had someone be so rude to me ever. Doesn’t even apologize for being rude and runs to hide in the back to avoid me in the store. How CHILDISH. You are a young adult acting like a child. Please act your age and please do your job better.Thank you for your time.

The checker was beyond snotty and never seemed to care about my purchases. She severely overloaded the thin plastic bag with my candle wrapped in paper. I with always have been able to request the clerk to pack very lightly and this gal was too busy blabbing with the other checker. She handed me my receipt and said here ya go. No thanks, nothing.Seems she needs to get out of customer service as she's a sorry excuse for an empkoyee.

I can always find gifts for everyone at this store. Quality products, clean store, great staff that is knowledgeable and kind, nice store for getting some unique food items. My go to place if I want a unique gift too.

Who doesn't love T.J. Maxx! Because they sell over stocks , you never quite know what you'll find and you'll probably get it for a great price. It's where you can get lucky. My last lucky find was some pricey eye serum on a clearance rack. Before that it was some higher end BB cream at a lower end price. Before that I found my favorite sweater. What I don't like is that sometimes the prices aren't that great and it's a bit messy. But I don't mind a little mess. I handle chaos very well.

Prices are iffy...thats the word that comes to my mind. Sometimes you get great deals and other times u have to pass over items you'd like but not for the price they have it at. Also, the men's department is disappointing when it comes to selection.

Because it is about an hour drive from my home. I looked up online to see if they would have what I needed. The website had beautiful dresses that would be perfect for a party I am to attend this weekend. When I got there they had nothing from the website. I will not be going there again.
