My husband and I stopped in to purchase some recessed lighting for our kitchen. A very nice young lady named Macalia who worked in that department was helpful and really knew what she was doing. She did a great job of making our purchase easy and stress free.

My friend and I stopped to purchase kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The first person was so helpful, but when we decided to get a matching mirror to the vanity, we asked another for assistance. This lady did the bare minimum to help us and told us it would have to be ordered online, where online this store shows 3. The next person looked on the computer and found it. This lady needs more training.

Usually my first choice for home improvement stuff. Staff are usually helpful, but not the most knowledgeable. I was recommended the product pictured to help with my exterior black fly problem. As you can see, it helped tremendously! The interior products did not work as well. But that's OK because I think the exterior device took care of the issue. Thanks to Menard's staff for the recommendation! Update: day 3 reveals a significantly more amount of black flies caught. Great product!

It's a bright and happy store. The only complaint I have about it is the pick up service. It's not really pick up if you're ordering lumber. You need to go find it yourself which defeats the purpose of pick up really. I found this out after ordering something to be picked up and reading the e-mail saying it's not set aside for me and I can't cancel my order.Lowes sets things aside. Target does. Walmart. Every pick up place I've been going to for years brings things out so I was shocked and I spent all night online trying to figure out how their pick up system works and how I would find my lumber in this huge lumber city so that I could show up the next morning and have some idea of what to do.I found a map of the store online. It turns out the lumber was in the back like the map says, but not in the area the map said. I had also looked up reviews where people say a guard will come out and scan your code then you go inside so when I showed up I was waiting for the guard. I saw the guard shack. I was parked forever and began to wonder if I arrived too soon or if I needed to call somebody. I was about to leave when the guard came out to talk to somebody else. She was there the entire time! Doing what? I don't know. But she told me I needed to scan my phone on this pole. Later in the day I asked people about this and they said the guard scanned their stuff not a pole.Either way once inside there was no way I would ever make it home without help finding stuff and luckily there was a number to call and the guy was nice and helpful and the guy on a forklift was super and found my stuff for me. I swear to high heaven he was an angel on Earth with how nice and helpful he was. I forgot all about the non guarding guard because I was so happy.Met the guard again while leaving and she wanted to see my in my trunk to make sure I didn't steal anything.Long story to say if you need lumber go to Lowes because they make it WAY easier. And if you don't see a guard (even though she's probably there) scan your phone on this random pole near the pickup entrance the e-mails and reviews never mention.Thank you to the angel who helped me or I'd still be there looking for my stuff.

Menards located in Marquette, Michigan is a really good store. The store is well stocked. The employees are very friendly and professional. They have plenty of parking. We recommend this store.

Ordered a house worth of siding supposed to be in for July 1st. Checked in around July 7th and was told that it was here June 1st, and they will not call you so keep on top of your orders folks! Yard guys were amazing and got me loaded up pronto!

Our water heater died and so we made the trip to go get one. While in the store we picked up a few other things, and let me tell you the help was awesome! It was busy in there but several employees checked in to see if we needed help! One gentleman showed us how to use the app, another was in the middle of helping someone else, but made sure to get a teammate to help us! We even had help loading our new heater into the truck! Was really impressed me was how concerned they were about transporting the heater. They were careful not to damage it and read the box carefully to make sure when we put it on its side, it wouldn’t damage any components. We are renovating an old home so we will be back!

I've always shopped at and loved Menards until today. I purchased Cardall cabinets from them which are beautiful BUT the doors open so far they hit the doors and drawers next to them. I talked to Dan who sold me plastic arrestor but then they don't open far enough so the sliding shelves work.Menards has hinges which will fix the issue and asked Matt the manager in cabinets for them to give them to me for free to fix the issue. I showed on the displays the issue which he admitted he saw how they hit one another. He said since they hadn't had complaints he couldn't do that even though he could see there was definitely a problem. I've never seen Matt there before but he said he's been there 8 years.I spend easily 20-30k a year at Menards between my properties and they wouldn't give $96 worth of hinges to fix the problem.

I do not recommend this store if you have a disability and need either a rider or in case a rider is unavailable, a wheelchair. Such was the instance in my case. No riders available, which I know they only have three, so I understand the unavailability. So, I went for a wheelchair. The wheelchair wheels were so uneven, I went in circles and needed assistance with being pushed, which being disabled and working on my independence, was irritating. I left and spent my money elsewhere.

The place is clean items are fairly well organized and the shelves are well-stocked with items they sell. The staff is friendly and helpful some more knowledgeable than others. They have a decent selection of power tools with a quality range from homeowner to contractor grade. But that's the kind of thing you can learn online.

I have spent a lot of money at this store. They have one or two rude employees that I've learned to avoid, but all in all they are incredibly helpful and friendly. If I have a defective item or complaint, it's never an issue for them to resolve it. The only actual issue I've ever had with this store is about the delivery driver they contract. I wish I could leave him his own scathing review, but suffice it to say, Menards deserves better and they should seriously consider cutting ties.

This is my favorite store. I can spend hours just looking at all the things they have that other places don't have. We even bought a gorgeous 3 seat patio swing last year and brought it all the way down to our Florida home. Great store. Wish they had these in Florida!

Always enjoy shopping at Menards. Customer SVC is always cordial. Have had to a couple mixups on orders but they're rare and efficiently addressed. Staff is quite well versed on stock location.

Shout out to Jerry in Building Materials! On July 26 we went to Menards and purchased building materials. To our surprise when we went to the yard we were told it's self service. Went inside spoke to Jerry and he came out and helped us find and load everything. If it was not for his help we would still be there looking for stuff. You rock Jerry. I hope Menards truly appreciates you, because we do!

I went here for a black light flashlight. I was immediately assisted by an employee who went and got it for me. I then was looking for some "pin on hooks"; another employee found then and not then down for me(they we're way high I the track). Everyone was very nice and made me feel welcome.

Customer service??? Not at this place. I went in to purchase an on demand propane water heater, and Jeremiah in plumbing simply wasn't interested in assisting at all. When I finally found what I thought I wanted he wouldn't even get the box down for me. Consequently I left the store and will look elsewhere

Employees are friendly, but not very helpful. Went to get some grip tape the other day and talked to 4 different employees who each sent me to a different corner of the store. The last one told me to go to isle 216 which didn't seem to exist. I think everyone meant well, but I Was frustrated and out of time so decided to just forget about the tape. Was able to find it at Lowes later that day. It also seems like their selection has been shrinking. We often need weird parts for robotics and the last 5 or 6 times I came here for them they didn't have anything close to what I was looking for. I still come here for home improvement supplies and have better luck there.

All and all, this is a decent store. They store trim, 1x's, and in my case, pocket door frames up a flight of stairs. Pretty rough if you're not young. Luckily, a young associate carried one of the frames down for me and got a cart to load them on

Very confusing! No signs about the new changes in the store. Couldn't find things that we were looking for. No one around to help. Ask cashier a question but she just pointed, over there. We are frequent shoppers. But you need to do more, to make it better for your customers.

Don’t bother calling if you have questions. Every time I’ve called phone either rings forever or I get put on hold. Today they left me on hold for 20 min and I just finally hung up. Called Lowe’s and they answered my question promptly. Looks like I’m going to Lowe’s today.

Some dude CJ really helped me in the plumbing service department, really satisfied, menards also has the good forbidden pink drink (antifreeze) and even got some tide pod snacks for the kiddos!

The store is very nice. The staff in the Special Order and Kitchen department need a lesson is customer service!! Don't confirm an order with the customer and say it is ready when only half of the order was there!!! I rented a trailer to pick up the kitchen cabinets, drove to the store 3 hours and found out the order wasn't competed even though Menards staff confimed it with me on the phone. Was told oh well. I went from having finished Beech wood cabinets to unfinished cabinets that I now have to finish for the same price??!!

I LOVE this store! I am so thankful I am able to spend my hard earned dollars at this establishment! WRONG WRONG WRONG AND WRONG AGAIN! What kind of store is named MENards? Is this an insult to my anatomy?? I walked in there expecting mens health care products...but I found DOORS???
