This is just an okay Dollar General not very friendly. kind of chaotic as far as the way the inventory is put in the store. Kind of hard to find the items you're looking for. On a side note they only have two handicap parking spots and they use one of the handicap parking spots to put their clearance items on outside. Here are some photos of them putting clearance items in the handicap parking spot. Very disrespectful to the disabled and to our veterans that are handicapped

Unfortunately they don't have enough staff. If they would hire people to stock at night and have staff during the day focusing on customers, it would be better. The rows are hard to go through with how much stocking needs to be done . Also, paying employees a livable wage would help with staffing issues.

Clean, friendly, and helpful workers. Always greats you with a smile. I never have a complaint against the workers. The store was recently remodeled and things was shoved here and there and if you asked the workers where something was they would drop everything to help you find it no matter what or how long it took. I have nothing bad to say about the workers. This store I will keep going to because of the workers.

This dollar store in Marcellus Michigan is absolutely the best dollar store I've ever been into. I've been in too many dollar stores. This one is very clean. The aisles are clutter-free. And there's space that you can walk through without bumping into anything. The shells are stop nicely. And the staff was very very friendly. I definitely recommend if you're around Marcellus Michigan to stop and do that dollar store because it is wonderful.

The new layouts of dollar general confused me at first but they have definitely stepped up their game. I can get just about any essential I need from them. Very rarely do they not have something I need in stock. Their prices can be a little high but you do pay for the convenience

I stopped to pickup some items we forgot for our camping trip and was surprised at the vast amount of food and misc items available. The cost was more than reasonable😊 An added benefit was that the store was open until 10pm, whiçh is quite happy surprise in a small town during these virus closures. They were taking care of the community after local Walmarts and Meijers were closed. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

This place is a joke, nicest store in the region but the management is a big joke. Go ahead and just ask Janet to go out of her way for you and show you to an item and read her body language and listen to her tone. You'll never want to come back while she is there

Like a mini-Walmart, a little of everything when you run out in between major shopping. Usually two or three people in line, never super crowded, though. Love that they've added some fresh produce.

It is convenient because it's local, whereas a person would have to drive a minimum of 15 miles in any direction to find a store that offers the same selection.On the contrary, there are very few items that actually sell for a dollar anymore. Most of their product compares in price to Meijer.

Ok place for emergencies cost more then the grocery store. They have an abusesive drunk working as cashier there. I try to avoid the place since I'm one of the people she assaulted. Dollar General has handicap parking but that is it. You can't get in the door and the lanes are to congested to get a wheelchair down.

Never had problems while shopping here. Plenty of parking, they do sell beer as well. Redbox located near the entrance.

Slightly disorganized feeling to the store makes it hard to find exactly what your looking for. That being said they very well may have what you want with a surprising variety of groceries and household items.

Love this store. Always clean and just tonight Janet went out of her way and went into the back to get us some marshmallows 🙂 Something so simple but she was very nice about it.

The workers are always friendly and it definitely beats driving to three rivers. They have lots of different products to choose from. And the store is open later then most.

Time to cue the Twilight Zone theme song because we walked in to a case of deja vu with this Dollar General, as it is the exact same layout as the one where we live. Not only that, but it also carried all the same stuff. Usually once you see one Dollar General you see them all with maybe a few differences, this one had no difference and I was half expecting the same workers to run the cash register. Freaky!

It seems they need to hire more people and to help organize the store
