I visit manistee 1-3 times year and always make it a point to stop in the owner is always friendly and usually gives me free stuff since I buy 100+ dollars every time I go. I usually bring my son and they give him a free stuffed animal or something cas he is good and doesn't mess up the store. My first time going there I bought a bow. I left with the bow a case a release 6 arrows for 200. The bow it self was worth 600 even had the original receipt

Been coming into the shop and doing business with Paul and family for years. Prices are great, they have helped me in a pinch pawning items multiple times, and helped me sell my snow blower on consignment. Paul is always looking to give deals and help out those in the community in any way he can. Not many places like this left unfortunately. Always happy to come in here and support the small business while also saving myself a considerable amount of money on tools

Google pawn shop near me and pickers paradise popped up, said its open and closes at 5 I drive 20 miles to get there and the doors locked. Not a good way to run a business

Been friends with them for 9 years and brought in a set of items to pawn on loan. Paid them off and they said they could sell them at their other store on consignment. Since then I have asked twice about it, my sister was with me one of those times. Now they claim I never paid them off. They sold them and refused to give me my money. I didn't get a receipt because I thought I could trust a friend.

Extremely friendly, and helpful. Both have gone out of there way to help me find what I'm looking for. During a recent medical emergency, held onto what I wanted to pick up , showing nothing but care and understanding!

DO NOT Buy from this place! I once bought A SNES Controller from here and tested it only to find out it was broken(it didn't function properly), so therefore I tried calling this place but apparently, they never answer their phone, And the staff here was incredibly rude when I talked to them at the place and therefore they claimed I BROKE IT! Never go here.
