It used to be that you could go into any of your stores and you found that the associates knew what they were talking about in regards to the products and now all of them have tattoo's all over their bodies, nose rings and could care less about educating themselves on the products that they're selling so maybe it's time to start supporting the smaller family run co-ops !

I would avoid this family farm and home at all costs!I purchased a push lawnmower that over heated and had issues from the start and store manager Chris Sutton told me to bring it back in so I did and he took it to the back then came back and said its fine, and I said no, its not it overheats can you exchange it? and he said no, I don't have another one, so I said ok, then can you just return it? and he again said No! We can't return them if they have gas and oil in them, I said when I took it home from here it had oil and gas it! and he admitted that they put gas and oil in them when the assembled it, still he absolutely refused to return it, I seriously felt like I just bought something used off craigslist and it was junk and the scammer was refusing to return my money! I continued to tell him I thought it looked used when i bought it, and he said, "come here!" so I followed him over to the mowers and he flipped over another push mower on its top and yelled, "Does this looked used to you?!" I was shocked that a store manager was acting like that, clearly he has anger issues. I called the Cadillac store branch and told them what he did, and Courtney said bring it over here and I'll return it for you, so I did, and got all my money back. So, not all of the family farm and home stores are bad. Thankfully I got my money back. I sent an email to both the corporate office and talked to the district manager, and they are talking to him. So, just a heads up warning about this branch and the manager Chris Sutton.

Friendly people, reasonable prices. I bought my wood stove from there. They helped load it up for me and did a great job. The only issue I have is that when you use store credit, you have to fill out paperwork every time. They should make it to where you can swipe the card at the register. Other than that, 👍.

They have everything a person needs from boat accessories, hardware, mower blades,and many other products for sale. Store is always clean and the employees are polite and very helpful. They also have a great selection of candy by the checkout. My favorite is the one pound bag of Bit O' Honey.

They had a lot of great kitchen appliances on clearance.like a 360 waffle maker for19$ instead of 39.99.Home decores ,metal signs,neat novelty items.

Nice little general-store type shop. Some hardware, lawn equipment, pet food, etc. They are pet friendly so bring Fido. Nicest thing is their hours, they stay open late for folks to shop after they get off work.

It's a good place to get most of your home and vehicle maintenance supplies. But if you need help with anything you will need to plan on using patience because finding a staff member for help ends up being a waiting game at best.

Went in for a couple things for the growing farm, turns out oil is half as expensive as O'Reilly's!!! Friendly staff overall an awesome place, way better than tractor supply or an auto parts store unless they simply don't have it 😀

The only store in Manistee that had a flexible reel tape in stocks. A very nice lady located it and brought it to the registrar. The check out young man was a very kind and friendly musician

I used to love this store but the last two visits disappointed me. I was originally buying all my feed here for my livestock. Last two visits, they were out of my usual type of goat grain. I couldn't find any of the Champion Drive top dressing they used to sell as well. Usually out of multiple things I consistently buy and never used to be a problem getting them. Seems like there's less help around as well, or maybe less helpful help? I don't know, Cadillac store is only a few more miles for me and that store seems to be better stocked then Manistee now.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have stuff from cats and dogs to horses and plants plus trees. They do sell clothing and boots and shoes. One of my favorite stores.

The most deplorable management that you can work under. Customer service is poor. Do not appreciate knowledge and good work ethic. Very disappointing. Requiring employees to submitt a positive rating on here to increase better ratings. LOL

Always have a good experience in this store. The staff is friendly and attentive. They are also the only store in town who sells the brand of dog food I feed.
