Store needs updating. With so many new stores this one is really run down. There always seems to be stocking going on regardless of when you stop. Need to work around large carts full od stock while shopping.

The store its self is fine. The costumer service however is lacking.... The cashier Sandy was very rude and thinks she's right about things that's she is lacking in knowledge of. Last week we paid on a bill there, we tried to do the same thing today, and she told us that's a thing they never did, and couldn't do... Maybe all the employees need to be told about the goings on in the store..

Someone tried scaring me inside, and the worker forced me to follow them until they knew they didnt have what i needed, when i said I'd look at other stores.

The new store looks great. I have to get use to the new placement of products but everything looks clean and organized. I would suggest another cashier. There were ten people in line and it would just increase effectiveness.

Seems darker inside since the "remodel". Floors are still old, still piles of boxes and carts blocking aisles. Disorganized, almost dumpy. Just an ok shopping experience. Driving through the parking lot is terrifying because of the potholes.

I used to managed this store and I want to say that my husband and I were in there on Tuesday Nov 6, 2018 and let me tell you..the store was terrible..AND I WANT the people to know that it really isn't the employees problem/issue. THAT THE STORE IS SO TRASHED. The company Dollar General only gives the manager 113 budget hours to run that store. THAT INCUDES STOCKING THE SHELVES.... That certainly IS NOT enough hours to possibly run and operate that store properly....I am POSITIVE that Dollar General upper management people WOULD NEVER EVER WORK ALONE IN A RETAIL ENVIRONMENT... ....THAT IS SO WRONG FOR ANY COMPANY TO ALLOW ANYBODY TO WORK ALONE.......

I like Dollar General to begin with and this location is no exception. As usual the place is a hot mess of unshelved merchandise and empty boxes, but there is everything that you need in one convenient location just steps from the River Walk in downtown Manistee. I received a warm welcome every time I walked through the door. Employees were helpful and asked if I needed help finding anything. Sure beats driving all the way to the big red and blue store on the outskirts of town.

Worst dollar general ever. Unorginized and a big mess. Also scanners not working or giving sale prices. Been finding more mistakes on prices in the last month???? Think I'll go elsewhere. Most of the workers are good.

Great service! Easy to get to items you need with a cane and walker. Having trouble walking this place is great so you don't have to walk a 1/4 of a mile to get bread and milk.

Awful they dont honor their digital coupons.. and the "manager" on duty didnt know what time her superior would be in to maybe get mater resolved she just treated me as if i was a peon.

The Manistee store is a mess in comparison to other DG Stores -- cluttered, messy, dirty, hard to get thru the aisles because of mountains of boxes. I only go in there once or twice a year as a last resort -- yuck. DG needs to replace this store!

Smaller store but recently remodeled to be more like so many DG's now. Still filling shelves but I like the store so much better now. Very nice now.

My first time there at a recommendation of an acquaintance. It's old and dark but has a lot of customers coming and going. Had friendly and helpful cashiers.

The Dollar General in Bear Lake is my favorite aisles are little crowded but it's the mus Stop Shop in Bear Lake I was shocked the first time I visited it it was busier than a Walmart LOL

Need to clean these dollar general stores up . They all are always a mess. Someone with a wheel chair or just a disability couldnt go down some of these ilse .
