I had a rough time with the Bellaire animal hospital. So I was hesitant on bringing my Missie girl to anyone else. But her upper respiratory infection wasn’t getting any better. It would just come and go. I brought her to mancelona animal hospital and I have never felt more heard and respected as an animal owner. As soon as I walked in the front desk was so kind and communicative. The ladies taking her temp and weight before the doc came in were so patient and kind and gave my girl so much love! Then the doc came in and she was SO kind, compassionate and understanding. She took everything I said into consideration and actually listened to me. Not talked at me. She was so helpful and helped my stress go down significantly! I’m due to give birth in four days and just needed someone to listen and help my girl and she did all she could! I will forever recommend them! Definitely a much better experience than in Bellaire!!!

We LOVE our vet, and we will never switch! Everyone from the staff to the vets is very welcoming and helpful. My sister and I breed, and they are always very accommodating and encouraging...always willing to answer questions or get to the bottom of an issue. You can tell that this isn't just a job for them. They love animals and it translates with every visit! Highly recommend!

I just cannot say enough about the entire team at MVH! We have been with them for 6 years and have experienced some pretty major health issue with our pups. The staff at MVH always go above and beyond to give the highest quality of care. From the reception team, to the vet techs, to Dr Ackler and Dr Brandy I always know we are getting best care for our girls. I highly recommend this clinic!

Cannot express how wonderful the staff is here. I was so nervous about my elderly dog going under anesthesia and not only was the concern remembered by all staff but each staff member throughly addressed my concern. So compassionate and explains everything in detail I couldn’t imagine a better vets office. Also had an emergency visit and they got me in right away and while other vets in the area wouldn’t take my dog.

My friend Linda and I drove from Atlanta, MI to have her 3 cats Spayed and 1 of my cats Spayed. We were extremely impressed with the staff, service, prices etc. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital. Well worth the drive. We will be repeat customers. Dr. Ackler and his entire staff treat people with dignity, love and support. Our Jackson’s had many medical obstacles and he’s always figured them out. His staff is amazing and there’s not enough good things I can say about Mancelona Veterinarian Clinic / Hospital.

My 8yr old cat was black-balled from Mancelona vet hospital because several years ago a program to spay-neuter feral and pet animals at no cost was in progress. I brought a feral cat that was approved for this program but this vet wanted my credit card for what ?? Maybe toput some charges on it w/o my knowledge or gather information ? . Words were exchanged now my cat is suffering because of the past. The Dalhmer's of the world comes in all forms of professionalism. This vet works for money and not for the compassion of the injured animal.Thats ok Mr. vet , Karma strikes back for the sake of the animal.

Angus old blind dog rescued from pound. Folks at Mancelona Vet Hospital have followed his health care since day one. They do a good job looking after Angus, staff is gentle with Angus. I recommend these folks.

We took our dog there while up at our cottage in Kalkaska because of ongoing diarrhea and not eating. They took him right away and did all the testing needed. Everyone there is super nice and I felt my fur baby got the most loving attention he has ever gotten at a vet. This is the second time in a year we have taken our dog there and both times have been a 10.
