We have to go out of town around the holidays, so we wanted to start our pup off with a few doggy daycare visits to get him used to the facility. Communication was wonderful, prices were accommodating and the facility was clean and welcoming. They posted photos of our guy having fun and made sure we had all the information we needed for a safe stay.

Julie & Megan were absolutely amazing. We took a trip out west for 2 weeks and boarded our 2 dogs for the first time ever. Naturally, we were anxious to leave them for so long, but Julie was incredibly communicative and accommodating. Our boys were safe and happy and well taken care of, I could not have asked for a better home away from home for our fur children. HIGHLY recommend Meadow Pond....they are fantastic!

We love Meadowpond. Our dog Duke can be a pretty big baby when it comes to being boarded, but they take great care of him, and his kennel is always very clean and tidy. The security is awesome too! We appreciate the peace of mine knowing he’s in a great place!

I have a special needs dog and this is the second time I’ve ever had to board him. He was frightened of me when I picked them up and ran to hide. I wish they were more communicative about my dogs stay and behavior. He was clean and fed but I’m not sure if I will use them again.

Very clean with kind, helpful staff. I took my Newfoundland for a Day Care stay. I think I was more stressed than she was! I will definitely be using them again for any dog care needs I may have in the future. The 24/7 check in and out is wonderful, too!

My dog stayed all day. She was supposed to be overnight but we got back at 11pm so picked her up. I never saw the owner or assistants. It was clean and pretty, like nice little hotel rooms. Not sure what care they get on longer stays but my dog seemed fine.. had water and food. I would use for short a night or two for sure

Took our dog here for an overnight. The system they have set up for drop off and pick up is awesome. The place is clean. Only thing I was concerned about was that they left the doggie door open all the time, so the dogs may get cold throughout the day in the winter. Next time, I’ll put a coat on him and maybe bring a crate and wrap it with a blanket for that purpose.My dog was really hoarse/no voice when I picked him up which made me feel like he never stopped barking. To be fair, my dog barks a lot, especially when in an unfamiliar place. So that was probably not due to any shortcomings of this place but I wondered how many times he was able to interact with humans while he was there.It seems very professional, very very clean. Fair prices. They were available on a holiday (Easter) weekend, last minute. Will definitely come again.I do hope that I get to meet the owners/staff next time, as I wasn’t able to this time, but I was able to chat with one on the phone who seemed awesome.

If my dog could talk she would have said she told me all the stories of playing with her new friends for 11 days. When we picked her up she was smiling ear to ear- even after a bath. I’m glad she was well taken care of, thanks Meadowpond!

Excellent experience! My GSD stayed 1 night. The place was extremely clean, comfortable atmosphere, and great staff! My dog is not used to being boarded! When i picked him up, I could tell that his experience was NOT stressful. He was calm and not anxious. This is a fantastic place for your dog! Highly recommend. Will use services again. Have been here multiple times from needing dog grooming to a hotel stay for the pooch! The staff is very kind to everyone and the love they have for pets show! Someone is usually around at all hours and always a phone call away!! They have allowed me to take my other dogs to the playground on site while finishing the grooming on the other pup. I highly recommend them, prices are set with the area and times in mind and I find them more than fair. Will continue to use their services!!! Great Job Meadow Pond Resort Staff!

Our dog had a wonderful time. More space and freedom than most pet hotel locations. Our dog had an accident and they offered to wash him for us before getting him into the car, which saved us a lot of stress.

Booked a new client, 3 day boarding reservation for a weekend, with the extras (bath, etc.) the day before drop off. There was an issue with an auto generated email, but when I inquired about the email they responded immediately with a phone call and took care of the miss communication. They were very professional, the facility was clean, and they took awesome care of our dog, and she smelled great when we picked her up. Very pleased with their services.-Meadowpond will be our go to for boarding and grooming needs in the future.-

Used the resort a couple weeks back. I was very nervous dropping my dog off. He's old and doesn't play well with others. I couldn't be more happy with how well it went. I was gone for a week Jaspers first time being alone like that. He did well. The Resort did awesome. Will be using their service again! Highly recommend!

Fantastic pet resort. Kennels have an indoor and outdoor area and the indoor has a/c. Plenty of space on each kennel. They provide blankets for the dog and they take them to the park areas outside individually if needed. Located just 6minutos outside downtown Macedonia. Best perk! You can pick up your dog using a security code to enter to their suite at your convenience. Definitely recommended for big dogs. Our 49lb mix pit did great.

Scheduled a ten day stay for two dogs in advance. Was told we’d receive a code for drop off 12-24 hours in advance and that staff may not be present. Never received a code and after calling several times the morning of our trip with no answer and a full voicemail I made other arrangements. Finally got a code at 10:15 when we were scheduled to drop off at noon. Not the kind of panic you want to experience prior to a long trip. My dogs are also part of our family, I want to know there is reliable communication when trusting (and paying!) someone to care for my pets. Will not try again.

I have not left any animals at this establishment but I have done work for them. Whilst doing my work, I have observed julie and her team take their time and address each and every specificneed for their four legged customers and treats them as if they are their own animals. The kennels and building are also very clean. If you're skeptical about leaving your pet with meadow pond i hope this review testifies that they are in safe and capable hands. Great jobs, guys!!!

I am going to give them five stars. They truly are great at what they do and they provide many services for your pet. They provide occasional picture updates of your dog playing on Facebook which was nice. The staff is very attentive to your pet.My only complaint is about a service they provide which maybe many people like. They have a service with 24/7 access to your pet they give you a passcode like going to the gym and you can get your pet day or night. You pay for the service even if you are not going to use it which I did not. Like I said this is my only complaint shouldn't charge you for a service you don't need.

All I said was the website wasn’t working and you don’t groom cats. You still didn’t need to be rude over the phone. Everyone in mancelona knows you guys do great work. You shouldn’t take a one star review so badly. And definitely shouldn’t call someone over a one star review that’s not very professional. I didn’t say anything in my review that wasn’t true. Maybe my review means a lot to you guys so maybe try asking me why and speak to me politely and it would get changed.

Such great care of our dogs! We had them stay here for 5 days and they were looking great and happy when we got back. They even took time to post photos daily while we were away. Very pleased and our fur kids will definitely be back!

I can't believe I have the best pet boarding place so close to me. The ability to drop off and pick up our dog, Lucy, at ANY hour, will a private entry code, is a much needed and appreciated service for our busy life. They give the best baths, too. Lucy smells great for days. Heads up on using their website when trying to make a reservation....it does go thru, even though it looks like it didn't. I always call to confirm after making a reservation, and they always confirm it was successful. Suites are super clean. Lastly, they post pics and videos of the dogs out playing together in the yard, on FB, so you can see your pet while you are away.

Interesting that the 1 star reviewers do not elaborate on their experience. Not helpful or credible to give a negative rating with no details. After several years of frequent boarding we remain a 5 star rating. This is the best business model for a boarding kennel that we've ever seen. The individual suites and flexibility of picking up and dropping off at your convenience, day or night, is priceless. And, most importantly, they provide loving care to the dogs we entrust to their care.

We were going to be gone for several hours & didn't want to leave our 6-month-old Boxer/Lab mix Zoey home alone for the day. Our first visit to Meadow Pond was great! Zoey really seemed to enjoy her experience there! Pictures were posted on Facebook so we knew what was going on. They have a big yard that the dogs can play in, plus a "run" right outside their room that's accessible thru a doggy door. One of the great things about this place is that you can come & go with your dog. They have their own "suite" that you get the code for when you're ready to pick them up. If you're looking for a day stay or overnight for your fur baby, we highly recommend Meadow Pond!

Absolutely one of the best kennels I've come across. Knowledgeable owner,staff, and beyond clean,no odors,air conditioning,music,inside, outside, individual kennels. Affordable, and 24/ 7 ,pass codes to pick up animals. Highly recommend.

Very good pet resort to leave your fur baby. Tender care, clean & private rooms with it's own outside kennel or a play area to socialize with appropriate friends. All is done to your wishes. Love the place 💓.
