Friendly staff, there was a long line with one cashier, someone came down from the office to assist. It's a clean store and it's organized well, it's very expensive. The meat isn't the greatest lately.

Clean and good service. Their prices are a bit inflated as they are the only show in town.Edit 2020 prices are a bit inflated due to convenience and I understand that but if you have to inflate your prices then you should provide good customer service today January 26th 2020 9:21 am I purchased a simple item, one item and the cashier bagged it I told her I did not need it bagged because I could carry it out and as I walked away she "had to wait till I bagged it to tell me he didn't need a bag" to another employee. I'm sorry if taking a bag back and using it for another customer is bad for this company or that cashier and I'm sorry if I don't want to be bothered with a bag but she didn't ask me if I wanted a bag she just wanted to complain about a customer within ear shot of said customer, family fare probably ought to train their staff to be a little bit more professional when dealing with their customers because otherwise this will just be a convenient stop, you can drive 20 mi and any direction and get better pricing and better selection, where they can shine as customer service and they did not do that today.

Been going to this store since I was a kid. The cashier Sarah and Tammy are my favorite cashier's. The store director Diane is so accommodating and nice.

Ive been going to this store since i was little, the store director is always kind and willing to help a customer out. The night time store director always says something to put a smile on your face.

The pharmacy has made a huge improvement in people behind the counter running much more efficiently. Wait times in check out line can very, more often than not, there is only one to two cashiers and with it being the only grocery store in town I bet you can imagine 😉. They have good staff overall. In my opinion.

Not bad if you need just one thing but would never grocery shop there. Way to pricy! And if you can You would be way better off going to Gaylord and shopping at Aldi or something!!

Only go there if last option. Limited employees working most times with extremely high prices for goods and typically longgggg. Wait in line to checkout!!!

The prices are outrageous. The produce was very poor despite charging more than any other store I have been to recently. I believe they are taking advantage of the area as they are the only real grocery store for 10 miles. The staff was nice. On almost everything the prices were a 1.00 more a product than any place else. We had a really long checkout line, until I asked them if they could open more lanes. They found a couple of other checkout people, so we were able to checkout much quicker.

Incredible selection in this store, and the produce section looked fantastic and fresh! Definitely recommend. You can get a jar of peanut butter and a kayak in one spot, too!

Really nice grocery store, the only problems I have is occasional expired food items, and a very rude cashier. I usually don't have problems with a majority of the cashiers besides Joni.

The deli has strange rules. They write your order down and then tell you to come back in 15 minutes or so. I've never ever heard of that. I left bc I didn't want to wait so I get my lunch meat somewhere else.

Went to return bottles and was told by the crazy manager not to go over the $25 limit (which i was not planning to) and then before i could even make it to $10 she came back in and was being rude about how long it was taking me to return them! I dont know why she was even keeping track of how long it was taking but she was so rude about it i had to leave and drive to east jordan just to finish returning them!

Clean store Deli is nice !I wish in Gaylord some deli would carry1. Lebanon Bologna made by (Seltzer2. Hot Capricola3. Mortadella with Siciliin PisachiocsYes, I am Italian and grew up with this stuff. I wish they would have it in Meijer's, Walmart or Family Fare (IGA) ONLY PLACES to shop around here no speciality shops or Italian shops up here. Sorry Oscar Meyer Bologna is NOT A DELI MEAT🇮🇹

Not a giant fan of this store, but it is one of the only options. The prices are extremely high, the customer service is horrible. The pharmacy never has prescriptions ready on time and the wait to be checked out is unbearable.

Customer Service is definitely not a priority! They would rather bag for each other, so they can visit. Maybe visit after work and open another lane for checkout. Set up is very unusual. Definitely will be driving the extra miles to go into Gaylord or Traverse for groceries.

I’m up north for the summer and shop here at least once a week because they follow the governors mandate to try and keep employees and customers safe. Thank you❤️. Masks are required and are worn by employees, they practice social distancing , and the store is clean.I never have to wait long to check out, I usually find what I need and they are friendly and helpful.A small town store that does it right.

If I could give no stars I would. As a new resident this store hands down is the worst…omg. Low grade food, service, needs to be more like bellaire/Charlevoix Family Fare. Just a nasty, dirty store. What a nightmare for new residents to deal with. Just go to bellaire or somewhere else. Just sad.

i am a regular customer of this local store they had Puffs kleenex on digital coupon today save $2 off 3 boxes i lost my yes card and was told by a employee they could still give me the $2 off store credit but when i got to check out - manager Bri was there so i ask her about it and she said no i could not get the $2 off mind you i spent $128. on other groceries i will not be going back there i feel if a person is a regular frequent customer you should help them save a dollar or two because after all your customers are who pays your wages in reality also i am a cashier myself i felt she was very rude and for this reason i will be shopping elsewhere from now on

Stopped here for the first time..was not impressed. Very rude dismissive workers..I asked where the produce was located. and yes I still wear a mask ..and I got the standard, predictable. "I can't hear you " from a rude cashier.I asked for counter help..someone was paged ..waited for awhile..I found possibly a manager taking apart the freezer ..I understand she was busy..I asked if she worked the counter as I'm sure managers do ..and she barely acknowledged me and acted like I was an inconvenience..she wouldn't even look up at me ..I stood there still at the counter..Im so over rude employees..I worked in hospitality..I always acknowledged customers..even rude ones ..I won't stop here again

Stopped by here for groceries before a family vacation. Our lunch meat was expired by an entire month and our bacon was as well. We should have checked these in the store, but it is obvious things on sitting on the shelves for a very long time. Do not recommend coming here.

Sometimes you definitely need more cashiers,but there friendly. Really need to show new people how to bag groceries! They put eggs,bread,tomatoes in with can goods. I usually re bag my bread,so please show them the correct way to bag.

The best thing about this store is the service. The people are great, very friendly and hrlpful. The selection is not great because it's in a small town but you can get most of what you need.I only go here for convenience. I willingly drive 30+ miles to do most of my shopping.

This store really sucks very few good employees. Seems to be no one really there for customer service I've had my wallet stolen there and never ever seen any tape review no return phone calls it's hit and miss about the front desk people not qualified

The produce at this Market is absolutely terrible!Most of the people are very very nice,! however there is worker who is Beyond rude. She actually scolded me, for going over budget and needing to put a few things back. I already felt embarrassed but she made me feel embarrassed and like an idiot. Normally, I wouldn't say anything but this happen with the same woman quite a few times.
