Ice cream products are great as they always have been. I remember the burgers being a bit better in the past. The chicken strip basket is great. If you get the five piece make sure you have someone to share it with cause it's a big portion.

The ice cream flurry, milkshake, and burger was great. But the chicken basket was not. The chicken tenders were way too peppery, the white gravy was way too peppery, the toast was ok.. French fries were different then the original owners used. They tasted like McDonald's. I hate McDonald's fries. The prices were expensive. But the cashier's were friendly.

I always love going here. My husband and I take our kids here pretty often for ice cream. They usually get cones dipped in sprinkles. We typically get flurries. There is plenty of ice cream in them, and I always ask for extra oreos! Thanks for always being awesome!

Service great but the product is terrible. Ordered a caramel brownie flurrie and it was all vanilla ice cream with a few brownie bites and no caramel. 😢

Horrific experience. Went on lunch after digging all morning. Was starving. Ordered the crispy chicken wrap. What a joke. I thought they forgot it when I checked my bag. It was laughable. One dry, heavily peppered chicken nugged with a teaspoon of fine cheddar and literally a pea sized dot of ranch dressing. I asked for my money back. No apology. Mgr lady helped make the transaction. Never looked at me, never looked at the sandwich, she chucked it in the garbage and went back to the kitchen. No apology, nada. The ppl before me got ice cream and banana splits and they were teeny, tiny. Slum lord city.

Great food. But the service could be friendlier when you call..***edit for owner*** instead of writing "under new ownership" on each negative review (which is common knowledge to the locals) try being more personal for a better response from potential customers and clients. Even a copy and pasted message saying "hey, sorry about the experience last time you visited this location. However, we are under new ownership so we would love the chance to earn your business now that we have changed some things". But when you write "new ownership " and that's it, it shows your PR isn't the greatest and you don't care about re-gaining the lost customer base due to previous management. Just my .02.

Icecream was good, got a strawberry milkshake. Chili dogs are good. Used vienna hotdogs so they were crisp and snappy and chili is pretty good to top it off. Fried pickles are good, not spiced like many places have. Nice icecream bar for hot summer days.

This place has window service, with pretty good a hamburger and fries. They're on the SB side of US131. So the frontage lane in front of them is one-way southbound. But it's easy to go around the block and park on the street or in the empty lot behind the post office. Might be best to re-enter US131 at the traffic light.

We called a week ahead to order my son an icecream birthday cake. Today we went to pick it up and they did not have it done and said they never had the order. Then the staff sat there and argued to who's fault it was instead of trying to resolve the issue then they offered us a pretty made cake that was coated in ice and was not acceptable. The staff was extremely rude to my wife this place should not be in business. Mancelona would be a great place to open another shop and put this one under!

Hoping they’ll read this and answer why they’re not able to put brownies on a sundae?? Also, worst flurries ever! Maybe 3 good bites with toppings actually in it. May as well just ordered a cup of vanilla ice cream. 🙄

This place has been around for yrs. My kids ate school lunches here many moons ago. My son is in late 40's now. We enjoy it for burgers and the ice cream as well. Appreciate their hard work...great little place for sure....

Hands down the heart of Mancelona. My Wife are addicted to the fun ideas they come up with. But I'm a basic guy and the vanilla cone is like visiting my childhood. Beautiful small business that should be cherished!

This review is based on my visit today. I picked up a veggie burger basket for my Wife (no meat). I asked if the patty was a "Beyond Meat" patty as it has been the last 2 years. I was told "Yes". It was not a Beyond Meat patty and it was over cooked. Dissapointing today and for future visits. Will still stop in for ice cream though!
