I was very nervous to take my skittish cat here however they did a fantastic job with removing all his tangles and mats. He is now a short haired cat for a while and this is good with both him and me. He seems a lot more comfortable after they trimmed him up! Thank you so much for handling my nervous fur baby with so much care! Would definitely return for any grooming needs.

This place is really unassuming at first and it’s easy to miss, but they are EXCELLENT! I will never take my dog elsewhere. He looks so good all the time and I know he’s not the best at listening. They take amazing care of him and he always comes home looking like a million bucks.

I still have not found a groomer that does a better job than this place. They’ve groomed my Labrador and my Great Pyrenees and didn’t miss anything. I’ve had problems everywhere else I’ve taken them. Owner is so kind and answers all your questions. Highly recommend them!

It was my first time at Claws & Paws. I have a very skidish puppy that is full of energy and HATES getting her nails cut. They were very professional and caring with my puppy. I will be going back for all of our grooming needs. Thanks Ladies!

First time I took my cat was yesterday. They did a great job. Very welcoming to people and pets. Did a great job with my cat. Had at least 4 people working that day. My appointment was for later this week but do to cancelling they were able to get us in.

I love coming here. Blue collar shop, blue collar workers, top notch care and grooming. Lance is fantastic, accommodating and everyone is so nice. Such fair prices!!

My cat Roo 🐈‍⬛ needed her nails clipped, but she won't let me do it, so to save us both from getting stressed out, I took her to Claws & Paws. Then took care of her in no time and as a walk in for only $12 bucks. Thank you so much Lance. We'll definitely be back.Side note: they were super busy, working on 5 dogs while I was waiting for Roo. Stop in. 😊

I went to them. My Maltese was a mess. They were very nice and Down to earth people. Took my dog same day and I got him back 3 hours. Price was very fair. They didn’t gauge me for a tip either. I’ll be back. Some of the bad reviews of this place are in my opinion, false. This is a great place to bring your dog.

4.5 stars is Generous for this low life establishment. Do not walk.. RUN from these people.GM called my wife at 730pm last night. Said a groomer would be out for a funeral and the other groomer would do both dogs and asked if we can be there at 8:30a. We woke got there as requested... the groomer.. said I have to go to the ER.... sorry... An hour later I drive by and it is open.. so I go in and talk to the RUDE GM Lance.... I said I was here as requested at 830am and you are grooming a cat and another person is washing a dog and my dogs who had the first appointment for the day and we were not contacted to bring them in. Then excuse after excuse with a condescending attitude.... RENEE KLEIN is the Owner... I need to talk to you Ms. Klein! This is a horribly run business and should be closed down.. A MINUS 1 is the actual deserved rating.... BOYCOTT this place and its rude employees.

EDITED:After reading several reviews…… I’m seeing that Lance is an owner ?? Also, why isn’t Lance (mgr , owner or whatever) a licensed groomer who should be stepping in to assist in situations like this? That is how a PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS SHOULD BE RUN! We understand that things “happen” but when you drive by less than an hour later and see the business operating and other animals being serviced and my animals were FIRST on the list for the day and are not being accommodated?? BOTTOM LINE …. A POORLY RUN OPERATION .We were very happy customers of Shear Delight in Warren but sadly and VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY handled , they closed their doors due to the owners health condition. I found out when I brought my dogs for their appointment and read the signs on the door. There was a flyer on the door saying that Claws and Paws was happy to help us Shear Delight customers that were left stranded with overgrown dogs. I called them immediately ( while still in Shear Delights parking lot.)Lance ( the manager at Claws and Paws ) was very helpful and understanding of the situation and was able to schedule both my dogs a week later. I did receive a text reminder and a phone call from Lance the night before our appointment asking me to call him. He stated that one of the groomers had a funeral and there would only he one groomer to handle both our dogs. He suggested we arrive earlier than our 9am appt so the remaining groomer could get a head start and stay ahead of the game. So far, we were impressed with the communication at Claws and Paws and thought maybe this would be our pups new grooming home. Claws and Paws is more money than Shear Delight but as my husband said, it’s worth paying more if we are getting good customer service.We wake up early on a Saturday morning to arrive almost 30 mins ahead of schedule taking Lance’s advice. THIS IS THE END OF OUR GOOD EXPERIENCE.We walk in . Ugh! My first reaction is the god awful stench of stinky dirty dog smell I’m greeted with. Ok, I get it. You’re dealing w dirty dogs. But do something about the smell. I never had this experience before at other groomers thru the years.Next, our groomer is on the phone, hangs up and states she has to leave immediately to go to emergency cause she’s not feeling right and maybe it’s her heart. Then she states she could accommodate us on Tuesday?? What?? If indeed you are having heart issues, how can you accommodate me on Tuesday? You don’t know that , right? HERES THE WORST PART: Less than an hour later, my husband drives by the business enroute to running errands, sees the OPEN sign on , 3 cars in the lot and walks in and sees 2 other animals being worked on. Why aren’t our dogs being worked on? Why, after knowing what happened to us at Shear Delight the prior week, YOU GUYS PULL THE EXACT SAME THING ON US ? Then Lance leaves a message saying there’s nothing he can do ? He has No groomers there? Well there were 2 animals getting worked on less than an hour after our appt??? My husband expressed his dismay to Lance was treated condensendingly to put it mildly. My husband asked for a number to contact the owner . Lance responded that there was 4 owners. Ok! Then that should be really easy! Give him one of the 4 owner numbers! Lance said he’d have someone call him. And let my husband know about his lack of understanding AGAIN in a condensending way. Wow!! That’s the worst! Screwing over a customer and then talking down to them? SHAMEFUL!My husband left his phone number and so far “ crickets”Keeping fingers crossed that Shear Delight reopens and SOON.

I’ve been taking my Shih tzu to Lance & his groomer(s) for about 4 year now. They always do a great job with him - grooming & how they treat him. My pup is older & can have a temper, but they are so gentle & have never had any issues with him. They’re never over-capacity and the facility is more quiet than your typical groomer - my pup is never anxious when I pick him up like he is with other groomers. Even after moving I still drive him here!

Eric did a great job grooming Casper. The only problem was his leash was lost and the owner didn't offer compensation. Eric is the go to groomer if you want a well groomed furry baby!!

I took my dog smokey in for his first visit with them, she was great, smokey went right upto her, when I picked smokey up omg he was so adorable she did exactly what I asked for, I will be taking smokey there from now on, I'm very pleased

I used to take my dog to Petco and I could tell he absolutely hated going there. I decided it was time to change groomers, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. At first I was a little nervous to change groomers and go to claws and paws, but I knew right when I walked in and talked to the owners/staff this was going to be the place for my pet. They are very knowledgeable and caring groomers. In my opinion I feel like this place cares more about your pet and making them feel comfortable and safe, rather then just trying to make a quick buck. You hear about the horror stories of bad groomers and them just wanting your money and hurting your pet in the process, but claws and paws went above and beyond when it comes to taking care of my dog. I would recommend this place to any pet owner!

Took my Burmese Mntn. Dog here and the girl did a Beautiful job on her. I have to say I'm very Impressed and Pleased. Being our 1st visit we were Not told it's CASH Only but they ran my Credit Card anyway. The Price was extremely fair as well. I will Definitly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my mini poodle there for 11 years (since she was a pup)!! Renee is awesome! She always does what I ask, and my Star always looks beautiful!! Renee is also very nice and friendly. Her prices are very fair. Highly recommend!!!

Wow! They are amazing!! The groomers were super friendly and did a great job with my dog. My dog is a rescue and can be a bit skittish but she warmed up to her groomer very quickly. A dog's intuition is never wrong. ❤

Ive been taking my Pitt bull to claws and paws for the last year and he loves it. They do a fantastic job. Lance and sue are extremely nice and friendly. I would highly recommend taking your fur babies here for grooming.

I have used this groomer in the past, however not recently due to the pandemic. Was saddened to hear Renee is no longer with us. However, I trusted the good notes she left & had my goldendoodle groomed there recently with the new owner (Lance). They did an awesome job on the grooming. HOWEVER, absolutely no attempt from staff to wear masks...so disappointing. Looks like we will have to find a new groomer who follows public health guidelines.

Looked forever for a place to get my scaredy-cat groomed and stumbled across claws and paws by Renee.. Everyone there was friendly and polite and they took great care of my cat! She got her nails and fur trimmed and even got a bath without a hitch! Recommend 5/5
