Beautiful store, knowledgeable and personable employees, Chris is great and knows what he’s doing. Keeps nice big tanks and the fish seem happy and active. Answers all of my questions and helped me get my betta tank started (pictured). Highly recommend

Chris is incredibly knowledgeable, and very friendly, he really helped me further my self into the fish hobby. I’ve really learned some interesting stuff like how and why fish are always dead in let’s say Meijers & rarely a family owned pet store; I’ve never seen a sick fish little alone a dead one at Chris’s and I think that’s a pretty impressive feat. My favorite fish store ❤️ my photo is of a fish I got from him a few years ago in my tank💕

Not a very well maintained atmosphere. Chris seemed to be knowledgeable about fish but didn't seem to keep up on the maintenance of cleanliness for the tanks or location.

Super clean store with healthy livestock! Friendly service and products I haven't found at other shops within a 20 mile radius.Got three fish and all of them are active and got to eating immediately after tank introduction. Will definitely be back and recommend them.

This freshwater aquarium shop has old-school fish store vibes.They have a huge selection of freshwater fish from mature African cichlids to planted aquarium to eels and back.Tanks were all super clean.I really enjoyed talking to Chris and hearing this young entrepreneurs story.Highly recommend this place and I have high hopes for the business.

Was not greeted entire time inside store.Smell was a bit swampy.Tanks are poorly lit can barely see what is even In the tanks.Edit: after response I did return at a later date to check out the store. Was greeted by a nice young woman. Store was alot cleaner brighter and not so swampy. So I do recommend stopping in to check out the place. Prices are pretty even with some other tropical stores would say slightly on the lower side depending which tropical store you visit. Was pleased with the visit today.

Chris’s Pet Store is BY FAR, THE BEST STORE TO BUY YOUR FISHY BABIES FROM! Our fish tank is completely stocked from Chris’s pet store & we will continue to shop with him! NOT ONLY are our fish BEAUTIFUL, but Chris (the owner) is such a sweet & kind person that he provides nothing short of AMAZING customer service! He’s always so helpful with answering any questions we have and just like he told me today, he’d never steer you wrong! His prices are so reasonable that you’ll walk out of the store with more than what you intended on getting, JUST BECAUSE his prices are THAT good! & He has a pretty big variety of fish to pick from!(I CANT WAIT to get my “Dragon” Fish soon! 🐉🐟😍) A few rare and a few that other pet stores probably don’t/won’t even carry!BUT…IF you’re looking to start up your very first tank or even just add to your collection, have NO worries, Chris’s pet store is the place to go!AND he has more than just fish. He also has some reptiles & reptile food too!(I attached a couple pictures of a few of our fish just to show a few options of the beautiful fishes that he provides! Chris was amazing to chat with, I was able to get the cutest little micro crabs! I’m hoping he’s able to get me some galaxy rice fish soon! I will definitely come back and support. The shop is also super clean!! Probably the cleanest shop around!

I finally got in to see this cute new shop and was so happy I did. Chris and his family are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was blown away by his and his grandmother’s quick ID on plants. All the tanks had healthy fish and I didn’t see any dead livestock or tanks with incompatible species. There were a ton of oddball fish and they had everything I was looking for and more: tons of freshwater shrimp in many colors, lots of rasboras and gouramis, so many plants, and miscellaneous aquarium supplies. I bought a handful of cherry shrimp and it’s been three days with no losses and two newly berried females! Definitely coming back here again!

Chris & Aaron have been quite knowledgeable. Lots of supplies, foods, chemicals, wood for tanks as well as large rotating stock of fish. Been here three times already and all my fish purchased have been healthy with no issues.

I visited the store for the first time on 7/25/23 and Chris was so knowledgeable about fish and aquarium care! I wanted to add fish to my tank and two other stores told me I could only add African Cichlids to my tank because the Africans I have are too aggressive to live with other types of fish. Chris hooked me up with 5 other types of fish and they’re all getting along well! This is the only store I will get fish from moving forward.

This place is awesome!! Chris has such a cool variety of fish. I ended up purchasing about a dozen fish - remmynose, female bettas, and guppies to add to my 20gl which have all adjusted beautifully so far. I left pretty inspired to start a 55 in the near future because of the beautiful larger fish he has. Not to mention he’s such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable

Incredible store with incredible service! The selection of fish is unreal. Chris has tons of fish to pick from and lots of amphibians as well. His prices are also much lower than other stores. Made the 40 minute drive to his store to celebrate my birthday. Will be back again! Was extremely impressed by the great service, well kept fish, and lightning fast check out experience. 10/10.

Chris and his new store provide a great asset to the local aquarium hobbyists. He is very knowledgeable and helpful with aquarium questions. He has a true passion and brings in a wide variety of tropical freshwater fish. His tanks are spotless which brings out the health and quality of the fish he stocks. You can definitely tell Chris is very passionate about aquatics and the hobby. I discovered his place by chance and really loved it. A lot of cool unique fish there, and the common ones see in the hobby, ranging from nano fish to really big ones.I appreciate how knowledgeable he is, and it's refreshing to see someone passionate about the hobby and the fish they keep. I even found some fish that I rarely see in stores. It was awesome! I was really excited when I saw them.I'm definitely returning to get more for my tanks. Until then, I definitely recommend checking his shop out ASAP!

Went to Chris's business today, I was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable and caring he is for all of his aquatics. All of his fish are very well maintained. He has a vast selection of beautiful fish. Everyone should support this local business, you will not be disappointed.
