Not open when stated on Google or the website. We Drove 2 hours to get to Coffman’s we were there at 5:24PM on a Saturday and they were closed. Their hours are until 7:00PM on Saturday according to their website. Called them while we were there an there was no answer or greeting stating the closer. Very disappointed!!!!!

Little hardware store with similar old-world charm. If you're missing something on your camping trip this is a great place to pick it up at. They even have the lithium-ion batteries that we needed for our dive equipment.

I came up north with my family and our bicycles. We got here and mine had a flat rear tire. The guy at the counter came out and looked at the tire, and even though they didn’t have one in stock he helped me find one locally and then he put it on later in the day. His can-do attitude was awesome. Big five stars for customer service and thinking-outside-the-box. 👍🏻👍🏻

The worker in there was super friendly. My girlfriend’s gear shift wire on her bike had came loose just before we were going to take the ferry to the island. We only stopped here to pick up some tools to fix it and the guy took her bike back and said he’d look at it for us. He fixed it and got us moving again and wouldn’t accept any payment for it. Literally the best experience and saved our vacation.

The store has a good selection of knives and the young man behind the counter was nice. However, they had a sign on the counter for a $5 rebate on knives. I was told by the owner that he had put the sign there but would only give a $5 rebate on your next purchase. The owner refused to honor the sign but said that it would be for $5 off your next purchase. False advertising. Not only that but the owner was arrogant and rude.

Went in to get a flat tire repaired on my bicycle. Dennis was super. Took the bike for repair and gave us info on a lighthouse to visit while we waited. Came back after our lighthouse visit and everything was done. I'd recommend this to everybody!

I was in desperate need of a tire and inner tube for my new bicycle because after the drive up to Mackinaw City, my car's exhaust had melted my front tire. They had my tire in stock and the inner tube all for under $25 I consider that very reasonable in a tourist town. I installed it myself but they will do installation for a small charge. Thanks!

Spent some time here waiting for the high wind advisory on the bridge. Neat little shop with some quality products. I bought a nice knife, and I like to swing in when I am in the area. I would recommend stopping by if you find yourself near.

Went to this mom/pop store to get some simple concrete fasteners. Some guy who identified himself as the owner was offended when I called one of my crew to see if they could use anything in the pathetic selection the store offered. The "owner" (no business owner I ever knew acted like this jerk) got all snotty and the visit ended badly. This is a hardware store in name only and a very poor example of how to conduct a business. Don't go there unless you want to be insulted. Mackinaw City desperately needs a good hardware store and this sure isn't one! No selection, no service and a sh*tty disposition.

Lots of stuff to look at. You can spend some time browsing even though it's small. If you are into pocket knives, this is definitely a place you need to stop and see! Huge selection of new and previously owned.
