In my opinion, the view on the porch is the best view on the island. With a backdrop of the Mackinac Bridge, overview of the village and beautiful scenery of water, island and mainland, you can't get any better. The food was reasonably priced and very good for a lunch. The service was some of the best I've ever encountered and what made it top notch was that they got the kids food out prior to adults which, if you have small/tired children, it's something you really appreciate. Thank you to the staff for such a spectacular service!

the view is beautiful!! it was extremely windy. we were seated outside by the edge at first but the tables were about to blow over so they moved us to another table without an umbrella. the food is so overpriced!!! $17 for a basic turkey wrap and $13 for the pecan ball. the turkey wrap was mediocre. pecan ball is very good and rich. service wasn’t great- they brought us the check before we finished eating and didn’t offer any dessert. seemed like they were trying to rush us out although we went in the middle of the day and they weren’t busy

The staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. We got the Bratwurst on pretzel bun off the menu and they are delicious! The scenery is outstanding, you are able to see downtown Mackinaw Island, and the marina from one location. Highly recommend!

One of the best views on Mackinaw island. It is located inside the historic fort, so tickets are necessary. The umbrella’s over the tables are adjustable which makes eating in the shade possible. The food is okay. Dog friendly outdoor seating.

Terrible service. Meagre portions. Beautiful view. Our waiter was unfriendly, took ages to take our order, took ages to bring our drinks (a $15 glass of wine!) when the food eventually came, the portions were so small we ended up going to get something else to eat after we left (and I'm not normally a big eater). The view was amazing but not worth the money to eat there.

The lunch offerings were fresh and delicious; we ate outside on a cute balcony overlooking the harbor - a beautiful view. The staff members were excellent; professional in every way. It was one of the highlights of our time on the island.

The view was fantastic but the food and service wasn't great. I ordered a chicken sandwich and I got a pulled chicken BBQ sandwich. This was not how it was described. It came with about 10 potato chips. My niece said her Chicken is Noodle Soup was good. Our server never checked on us. He disappeared and we had to ask another server to go find him. Go for a drink and the view!

Food was delicious but we received poor service. Waiter never came back to refill our drinks and we waited at least 20 minutes for the bill. Now, we were in vacation so we weren't in a hurry anyway, but it still seemed a little too long. Maybe our experience will be isolated since it is the beginning of the season. You can't beat the view though and overall this is a good spot for lunch.

Whitefish dip is amazing. Tried to buy some from a fish shop in town, Not The Same. Our waiter brought our son extra milkshake leftover in the blender, so good.Yes, it's pricey, but the view and the service are worth it.

I love the Tea Room.You do have to pay $15/person to enter the fort to get there but the view for lunch is a absolutely worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great service just Considerably overpriced. I understand that everything on the island may be more expensive than youd expext but for the food quality it was almost outrageous. $60 for lunch for 3 with no alcoholic drinks. Sandwich was basic af. Soup tasted like it was freeze dried. Inside seating available or sit on the balcony. Such a cool spot to eat in the fort aside from the food. I was so looking fwd to it and was highly disappointed.

Food was decent but wait was very long for a server and for food. Also a bee flew in my fiancé’s full beer and we asked for a new one due to the bee and they took the full beer away and did not tell us we would need to pay for it regardless then charged for the new beer ($9 for a corona). A bee also flew in my salad and died on the plate but I was close to finished eating so I just left it there and did not finish the salad. There was also a surcharge of over $4 to use a credit card to pay which nobody told us about until after my card was charged.

Horrible. We got a table pretty fast as they weren't busy at all.... Food came pretty quick as well. Waiter dropped it off and then disappeared. For literally almost 30 mins. Our food wasn't right, but no waiter to get it fixed and our drinks were empty. Finally after 30 mins I asked someone get the manager and sure enough it was our waiter... What really got me irrated is that the worthless a-hole didn't understand what the problem was. This guy is a joke, and makes a decent restaurant that we've eaten at many times over the years look extremely bad!

I'm gluten free and was able to have the Caesar salad (they were able to add chicken for an extra charge). They had a few other GF options as well. Little pricey, but what isn't on the island? Our waiter was busy, but very friendly and quick!

The view is great. You can see the whole bay from the restaurant, which is especially great on the 4th of July. However, the food’s pretty disappointing and overpriced. It seemed very cheaply and hastily prepared which was surprisingly considering that it’s run by the Grand Hotel.
