Meijer has lost its "thrifty acres". Expect to pay top dollar for everything in the store. It's sad how expensive the store has become. With every aspect of our lives inflated to the breaking point, It seems like lower prices would pull in more customers. I shop elsewhere unless absolutely necessary. Just can't afford it anymore. We have been shopping at meijer for almost 50 years.

The butcher that cut your lamb shanks needs a major refresher course on how to cut fat, silverskin, etc.Was not thrilled I had to spend 15 minutes to clean the shanks enough to resemble actual lamb shanks for cooking.I get Meijer isn't a top tier meat shop, but this was a pretty entry level mistake (overlooked). Note to self - 'Stop Expecting People To Do Their Job.'.

Its sweater weather!! Meijer has a great selection of clothing and if you're lucky, you can get out of season clearance items for super cheap. Clearance often gets a red or yellow tag added which allows an additional 40/50% off an already marked down price. It can be hard to find the right sizing on sales like that but it is worth the effort of checking the clearance racks. I wish they sold their clothes online. I never thought until just now to just google search the brand name and see if they are sold at a different online store. We'll, I know what I'm about to do now.

It's a decent store I've been shopping there all my life BUT it's really gone so very far down hill since COVID. Even going in early in the morning stock is low. Be very careful to check expiration dates especially on meats, I find expired products frequently

Clean & organized. No dressing rooms. Many clothing items are pretty over-priced considering poor durability and shrinkage issues.

Loved everything about this marvelous attraction. If you're ever in Grand Rapids MI you must go here. Brilliant in every way. Cannot say enough good things about it. Even if you don't ever plan going to Michigan or Grand Rapids....go there if just for the Frederick Meijer. Plan to spend the whole day there.

11:45 all doors are locked. Lost atleast 4 customers the short time I was there. Probably had to polish the floors like they start doing at 9 every night so just locked everyone out. Sad when online is a tough competitor

Friendly staff and a good selection of products. Prices are a bit high unless your catch a good sale or special. Not usually too many checkout lanes open so unless you want to use the self checkout (the machines are kind of finicky, especially with coupons or bottle slips) be prepared to wait a while. Pretty sure I caught some kind of disease from either the filthy bathrooms or bottle returns as they are straight up gross with mild growing on the wall.

The nicest, cleanest, most organized meijer I’ve ever been to. Super clean. Newly remodeled. You feel like you’re in a Whole Foods it’s so nice. Wish the meijer by me was this nice!!Employees also very friendly, Nick G was our cashier and he was beyond excellent- kind and friendly!

Meijer is not a bad store. Has a little bit everything. But, check the dates of the things you buy! Picked up a candy bar today without thinking about it. Got on the road and realized it was way out of date and growing some mold on it. Wasn't worth taking back. But sure is a lesson in paying attention to what I buy from them.

Rotten fruit and rancid meat and dirty floors, oh my!Meijer has gone downhill and is quickly becoming a more expensive version of Walmart. During our last visit, the fruit was rotten, the meat and dairy was either expired or on the precipice, and the store was unkempt. If you have the option, go to Kroger or Publix. Both your stomach and your wallet will thank you.

Saturday afternoon and only 1 normal check lane open, it was 8 people deep in like. Enough w the self checkout out and getting free labor from customers instead of normal check lanes.

Pretty decent Meijer. They don't have a lot of toys compared to others but it's probably because it's a tourist town. I've never seen so many chairs and canopy's. Also they had more frozen pizzas than I've ever seen. The store was clean and the employees were really nice

In the mornings, this is a well stocked big box store. I've come however when things have been so picked over their super sale item was gone. Another downer is they don't have a fabric/sewing notions department to speak of. (I'm told a Hobby Lobby is being built next door!😁)Otherwise I come here a lot for anything the family may need.

Setup isn't even close to other Meijer stores I've been to. Extremely difficult to locate items.When we finally found the Aisle, there was little or no product on the shelves.Will never ship at this location again. This is a total shame as we live just several miles down the road. The Meijer we've continued to use is 55 miles away. And we'll keep going there.

I love the Fresh produce. Straight from the fields. Meat sales are phenomenal. Competitive pricing. Just yesterday I got chuck roast for $3.99 a pound. The butchers are the best. They even take time to help out a customer out on the floor with finding meat. Isles are easy to walk around and bottle return area is spacious. It's a fair walk back into the back of the store but worth it. They are great at putting signs up at the front door if they are full for the day with returns, so I'd check before loading your cart with bottles and then going in just to be told no more returns for the day. That really is with any place. The sushi is the best!
