Cash only and wouldn't accept the official DQ gift card I had. Neither blizzard nor freeze I ordered was mixed properly resulting in either a flavorless bite or an overwhelming surge of flavor. I've never had these issues at the Manistee DQ and I am less than impressed.At the very least the cashier was polite.

So this DQ doesn't accept Credit/Debit cards nor does it accept DQ gift cards unless it is DIRECTLY from Ludington. The wait wasn't bad but once we received received our food it was like it wasn't even blended properly. The mint OREO tasted like just straight up oreo ice cream. The freeze we received was almost all slush and no ice cream. This is the 3rd time we've been and it has been below par. I'm not sure how they got such a good review but it must've been a bunch of family members. It's honestly the most "Blah" DQ I've been to.

I was waiting in line today and 3 seniors walked up after me. After waiting 10-15 minutes for the previous customers, one of the seniors that walked up behind me said that they were here before me. Instead of arguing, I left without ordering. It would have been nice if this DQ had better queue lines so that obnoxious customers like the ones I encountered are unable to treat others in this manner.

One of the few Dairy Queens that has an endless menu of possibilities. I once went to a franchise in another state, and was informed that I could not order something not listed on the menu. Here, you can customize your own blizzard with a plethora of choices and mix-ins on the menu. Chicago dog is the best. Since my tolerance for dairy these days is limiting my trips to DQ, I can enjoy a Chicago dog while my mother plows her way through ice cream 🍦

Stopped for a treat,. Took a while to get thru the drive thru, since that is the only way to get ice cream here. The treat delicious!

Ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard and it had chocolate instead of strawberry sauce in it. I've ordered this several times from several different Dairy Queens and it's always been made with strawberry sauce. Not to mention the soupy consistency of the blizzard. No wonder they didn't flip it upside down... they would've been mopping up the floor. Will not come back to this location.

This cash or check only business always has a wide selection of the fruit and candy I like added to my Blizzards. Don't worry you can even find some the classic items that you love on the menu. Be sure to get there early because the drive through line is always long at this popular place.

The line was extremely long and it went by really fast. There was a sign on the shed saying they didn’t accept credit cards. We ordered a small vanilla shake and two medium vanilla ice cream cones. The drive thru was open and the inside was closed due to Covid.

This is a great Dairy Queen and it is normal to see a long line to the drive-in window, but the line moves very fast. I have enjoyed the Peanut Buster parfait, the banana split blizzards, and the Chicago hot dogs. Also, this place is consistently good.

We sat in line on the street only to find out they don't take cards including gift cards. They should advertise online somewhere or on their sign by the road. I was gifted a Dairy Queen gift card and drove 40 miles to wait in line on the street till we got to their little sign on the shed. I'm not a local and that's just bad buisness.

Locally owned, so prices are cheaper than other DQ's and the ice cream tastes fresher. Window service only, and they only open during the spring/summer. Cash only so be aware before you go!

Fair prices, Excellent-Respectful staff, but, I would love a Full Size DQ... however, being a Native to the area for more than 4 decades, I understand Why they are seasonal. This Past Summer, they were open longer, as summer was here longer. The owner is local-ish, and a good person who will help out people in many ways, and Never seeks "credit" for that help. Locals have the idea that "only pretty young girls are hired" ... that, is not how it is. He hires from the church, younger folks, who are missionaries, quite often. He is helping in the Building a group of Amazing young people, Every Season.

Have always liked this location of DQ. Their drive through is one of the better ones that I've seen. Their service is quick and friendly. Keep in mind that they are cash or check only.Features: They do not have any indoor area for customers anymore. Your health safety is totally left to you.

Cash only. No gift cards. I asked for a sundae with M&Ms and sprinkles and she told me they're not allowed to do that. I had promised my son this as a reward for some awesome behavior recently and asked her how we could make that happen. Thankfully the girl standing close by had a brain and offered up a blizzard with those two items. The tables to eat at were all gross with crusty ice cream spills on them. Go somewhere else.

Pretty good for what they do. If it is school time there is a high chance that there will be a huge line. Generally faster if you get out and wait in the line in the front, and not waiting in the "Car Line". It also helps with the issue that comes about when there is a line from there to the intersection.

Nice little DQ, vintage looking and has only outdoor seating.THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!NO CARDS, NO PHONEPAY!Nonetheless, super fast staff, accurate order makers, nice spot to chill after the lake.
