Bigger than the other Livonia location. Half the store is for dogs like most of the chain. The fish and other live animals are in the back. While the cat stuff is 1/5 of the dogs, I found some things they only have including collars with bows. Service is plentiful and helpful. Parking lot is larger. Even has a traffic light in driveway so you can get in and out no matter how busy Haggerty is. I will be back when I need something.

10X better than the Livonia store. Staff are normal. Helpful. It’s clean. Have what you need. Quiet. There isn’t 20 staff member standing around gossiping. 5 stars.

Best selection of premium pet food, hands down. Super awesome self grooming stations for your dogs that come fully stocked and include air dryers.Love the rewards program they have too. Their selection of Honest Kitchen dog food was spectacular. Would absolutely recommend this place for your pets needs.

The place is huge. It's much larger than the one on Grand River. I just picked up something there. Will be going back to window shop. Who knows what I'll buy.

I love this place for my pets' food and other needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The bonus is that this is a Michigan owned small business with several convenient locations. The store is very well maintained. Other amenities include washing facilities so you can bathe your dog; some products include a free one after you buy a certain amount. Great selection of brands for dogs, cats, and other pets.

I should’ve reviewed this store a while back, but just never got around to it. I’ve been shopping here probably about a year and every time I go has been a great experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The owner personally responds to emails and is willing to work with owners to help figure out what food sources their pets are allergic to. I truly get the impression they care about pets more than profit. The store is always clean and aesthetically pleasing. They will help you track down a product at another location if they don’t have it in store. This is never a errand I dread running! Well done and thank you, PPS!

Friendly employees but unless you have a dog or cat it's not worth going. I have a Bearded Dragon and what they offer for reptile supplies are slim to none. I was told that they're working on expanding and getting a bigger reptile section so I'll update if I go back and see it. Also, from what I've seen, the prices are a bit high. Some of the same things I'd buy for my girl (dragon) are almost half as much at Pet Supplies Plus.

Love supporting local business, however, prices have gone out of control. Each time I attempt to buy my dogs dry, Blue Buffalo food, they attempt to charge $87. I price match, for over $20 less. Upcharging people over $20 for dog food is absurd.

Its local and all the staff is super helpful.We use their dog wash facilities all the time. Nicely equipped and carry all the major brands for pet foods and also some unique brands too! This is one of the new stores and one of the bigger in area. Great place to take your furry friends!

Well... the have the largest selection off dog treats and accessories I've seen in one store. Hit n miss on prices but nothing to outrageous. Soo, if you are looking for a variety of stuff it's worth checking out

I had an issue today in regards to some rewards that weren’t being properly accounted for. I left a note and within 10 minutes, Mike (the owner), was calling me trying to make things right. He spent his night trying to make sure that I was taken care of, when he could have been doing anything else. That speaks volumes to how they will treat every single customer. We will continue to be back!

PPS. my family has been shopping here (the novi location & the livonia location) for about 4ish years when we got our husky & once i got my own dog (american staffordshire terrier), i knew instantly where i was going to be spending my money. first off, i want to start off with the staff. they are all SO kind and welcoming. it truly puts a smile on my face. every time i go into one of there & checkout, the staff always makes conversation about what i was buying. next, the items they sell. i LOVE the variety of things they sell. my dog is on a half kibble/half raw diet and when i’m looking for raw food, they always carry such a variety of proteins, which i appreciate because i’m a “variety is very important” thinker. they also have amazing treats. as someone who is very conscious about what my pets eat, i love that they sell all of these amazing treat options! especially the single ingredient treats. i also love the reward program they have, especially for being a small, family owned business. for someone who spends an ungodly amount of money there, getting a few bucks off is always so helpful! i’ve recommended this pet store to a bunch of my coworkers (i work at a doggy daycare) and a couple of them have even went there and raved to me about how nice it is in there! i will always buy my things from PPS, they really are the best

The location on 7 Mile & Haggerty has become our new happy place. The staff is always very helpful, the selection is huge for being a small business, and it’s beautiful inside. I go pretty often, and even today I noticed something lovely and heartwarming for the first time- the employees had named each Beta fish. They were hilarious, and that special touch really made my day. Still thinking about going back and bringing home Mitch Hedberg! Highly recommend this store.

I called the store asking if they had any rats. Specifically female young rats, ask I keep them as pets. The associate took the time to go look before I drove from Canton to the store. He said they did! I got there and the friendly female associate helped me get the ladies out. They were both so kind and patient with me. I’d even called back as I’d seen their birthdays written on their cage card but I couldn’t remember it. He went and checked for me again. They congratulated me on my new babies! What a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

These stores were awesome when I first started going for my Rottweiler but then since the pandemic they have hired the worst staff that are rude, unknowledgeable and very unhelpful in every aspect. The female manager at this store (Northville) in particular is a very nasty person and knows nothing about customer service and how to deal with the public. I now drive to the Canton store just to avoid these negative individuals.

Very friendly and helpful staff, I was in last week to purchase some rats as pets but was not told one of them was pregnant (not the employees fault) but was a bit of a shock and surprise for me. I was told they were from an employee who breeds rats so I didn't expect any babies. Other than that crazy moment I really like this store I just wish the breeder would have been more cautious when placing males and females near each other.

Absolutely best experience! Would highly recommend. Got my girls nails trimmed. We were always doing this our selfs, always lots of stress, running away, couple nails at a time best case. Her paws were always very sensitive, you couldn't touch them. So our patience run out and we decided to get her claws done professionally. Had little hope that this will be possible, considering my girl being such a drama queen. But miracle happened and technician did his magic! Was so excited, forgot to ask his name.So now we signed up for maintenance nail trim, no more battles in the house :D
