I used to really like discount pet for their bird food for my green cheek. it would bring out colors to his feathers, however recently this food has been infested with bugs they’re little red bugs I’m not entirely sure if they are harmless but what I am sure about is that I will not ever feed that to my bird EVER. However the pet store does have excellent supply’s for their cages and services such as wing clippings, nail trimming, and a bird spa at a good price. Although they have all that I will not return.

I love this place. Because it's where I got my baby from he is a blue Indian ringneck and the birds here are beautiful. The people are also very helpful and they can trim the wings and cut the nails of your bird.

My son recently had been doing a TON of research on cockatiels. I brought him to this store in an effort to find a professional that he could speak with to make sure he was ready for his new cockatiel companion, and that is when we met Kate and she did not disappoint! Kate was so knowledgeable and helpful (not to mention patient considering the barrage of silly questions from my 13 year old lol). From the moment you walk in the store you can tell that Kate knows her stuff and cares deeply for her customers and all of the birds in the store. For that reason we did return on a later date so that my son could purchase his new friend. I will recommend this store to anyone who will listen solely because of the impression that Kate made on me and more importantly the impression she made on my son. Quality customer service is very hard to find these days but Kate is amazing at her job and the bird store in my opinion is very lucky to have her. THANKS KATE!

Let me just start off by saying I absolutely love this place I bought four of my birds from there as well as all my birds needs, food , cages , toys , grooming!!!!!!all healthy birds in this store❤️ everyone in the store is extremely knowledgeable about birds and willing to help you out I moved away ,out of state and honestly I still get someone to go into the store in and mail me the bird food from their store!!!!! Their great the owner is a GEM so sweet and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended …. My bird got lose once and with the support of them I got my baby back… thank you Pat&Lisa❤️

I really wanted to love this store, but it wasn’t the best place to buy your pet bird. I bought a Parollet from them, which died after one month. We hadn’t even started training with him yet - I still cry over that little guy. About two months later, I went in looking for another, I couldn’t find one it’s color anywhere else, and my husband said “It could have been anything- you’ll never know” So, I went in there and told them what had happened, and asked them if they had another one in his color. They said they did, but it was an adult rescue someone had caught outside and dropped him off there. They had been working with him, but he still wasn’t completely tame. I felt sorry for him, so I asked how much. They gave me a price that was double the price of my first one. We have a word for that - it’s called “Grieving Price”. People will pay anything when they’re grieving. They will never see me in here again.

This place has a lot of bird items and birds, but I wouldn't buy anything from here. The store itself is dirty and there's like a coat of dust on everything. Everything is "marked down"... but when you compare prices to other stores or the internet, the prices are about the same. The birds are kept in rabbit and guinea pig cages and they aren't very clean. It also looks like they eat a lot of seeds. I wouldn't buy a bird from here.

I love this place, I trust them with my cockatiel and they’re very friendly. They trim his wings & clip his nails & they are always very efficient :) the workers have helped me a lot and gave me LOTS of tips for my bird , 10/10

Got my Green Cheek Conure here. Price was as expected to pay for his color mutation. Owners were knowledgeable, and took all the time needed to fully explain care to me. He was hand fed still when I brought him home and had such a sweet personality from being treated so well his whole like. They encouraged me to come back if I had any questions. No health garauntee on the birds, but I took him to the vet just for a check up and he was in great health. They did say if I had any issues (nail clippings, wing clippings, not eating) not to hesitate to bring him back in

I've gotten my feathered babies here and the staff is so amazing. I feel like family every time I go in to either pick up snacks/food/toys for my birds... or to bring home a new bird 😂 I love this store and they take such good care of their birds. Piccolo got his nails trimmed today and left in a great mood :)

I bought 4 week old green cheecked conure for my son. It was still baby. When I was buying bird stuff did tell me that adult has to feed baby bird, they did tell me that my son will not be able to feed him. Every time when we go there stuff will help me to get right food for our pet. Love that place and very appreciated that they helped me to find best friend for my son.

We loved this store !! The salesperson Devon was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. She answered every question we had and helped select every item we needed. We bought a beautiful Turquoise Green Cheeked Conure for our 14 year old son. Store was immaculate and the birds well cared for. We will return for grooming. We give this place 6 stars all day long !!!

Loved all the birds they had inside the store. Plenty of personality coming from those cages. Very informed staff with a bunch of knowledge. I am currently planning on buying a bird and will be visiting this place again when I make my final decision.

My husband spent over 500 on a Pineapple Green cheek Conure here in mid October, just for this bird to die, the bird was only 3 months, we don't know why. The bird started freaking out and scream, fell to the bottom of the cage still screaming, rolled up in a ball, stretched itself out and died with a faint scream. This bird passed on a Sunday morning, my husband was hurt, I don't know what to do with the bird, I don't know if I should bury it or take it back to the pet store. For a bird to be this expensive it shouldn't of died that fast, it was fine, we have cheap $26 parakeets that pretty much out lived this baby bird. I felt like we threw away money.

I called this place looking for a large parrot, they said they had some blue and gold macaws available and they said they were accepting offers, now they first said they only took cash which I'm fine with that, the part that's kind sad though is that I offered close to $1,000 and they said that wasn't enough and we're expecting over $7,000. No offense but honestly in my opinion, if someone offered me close to $1,000 for a parrot I'd say that's a sweet deal. At least they weren't rude about denying the offer, I will give them that.

I've shopped here on and off for the last few years. They sell an amazing selection of birds and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. My most recent bird (and only) is a cockatiel. And he is just a delight. I got all his perches, toys and food from this store. One of the girls here walked around with me and helped me select things that would be reasonably priced and also good for him. She showed me what sort of food I needed and even recommended a few extra things I could do. I love this place. I'll continue to be a loyal customer.

About 6 months ago, we bought my bird Henry. Henry was a silver pearl cockatiel who we loved very much. Henry passed from an unknown illness last night, and we are very upset. We brought him to the vet several times, and they said he probably caught something from the store. We are very very upset, and disappointed in this store. We thought it was a reputable place, but they do sell sick birds. Please do yourself a favor and don’t shop here.

We have bought 3 large King cages at the store for a good price. I think the cages and floor stands are great. The toys may be expensive but they are all over and are quickly destroyed . We have Cockatoos and we buy their toys in the lumber department of Home Depot untreated scaps with no plywood where there is glue as a bonding agent. As far as birds my suggestion is that in the bill of sale there is a return policy. Consult your avian vet as to the length of time it will take to get the test results back.The following is for the purchase of all birds from any store, breeder, or individual.The bird must immediately go into an avian vet for a new bird physical. This includes and not limited to; Psittacosis, Avian Bornavirus, Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease . A gram stain to check on any bacteria and yeast. Have the vet lined up before you purchase the bird. These tests are not inexpensive they can run about $300.00 but it is so well with it especially on an expensive bird.If you are looking for criteria in selecting and avian vet contact; tooparront@gmail.com. This is my happy place! I adore all of the people here ❤I board my 40 year old African Grey, Caruso here and she loves it. Best place for knowledge on birds and any husbandry you need to do. 5+ 🌟 Pat, Lisa, Matt and Jacob are amazing and so very knowledgeable.But I would be remiss if I didn't mention Katie! Great shop for birds! Tons of species and unlimited supply of food, toys, accessories. The owners are very friendly and they offer bird boarding services. Which has been awesome, because the wife and i do a decent amount of international travel. Great place, would recommend to anyone with a 🐦!

Everything in this place is covered with dust...like nothing ever sells???cage prices are outrageously high. Pricing on food seems pretty fair though. If you're looking to buy a bird from a Breeder, this would suffice

This place has a fantastic selection of toys, cages, perches, and whatever you might need for your feathered friends. The staff if very helpful and always checking to make sure you're finding all you need, and always happy to answer questions or make suggestions. The prices on toys are fair for what they are.The most important thing that I see in a pet place is that the pets look very happy. They certainly do in this place. They get a lot of different breeds, and if I'm not mistaken, also have rehoming services. They constantly get baby birds of all sorts as well, even in the off seasons.At one point, my review on here was not so good. I had an issue with an employee that is no longer there. In need of an item immediately, I gave the place a second chance, and I'm really glad I did. Since that time, I've purchased countless toys, 4 cages, perches, and even food from this place with no problems whatsoever. In fact, the owner asked me about the review, and I had completely forgotten I'd left such negative comments about this place. I appreciate his forwardness asking me about it.

Depending on the species, it can very much be within my price range, and the more expensive birds, well, I'll leave them for those with more disposable income lol.But the service is always wonderful and i always find what i need.

Great place to go if you have a bird. They have a massive selection of everything, the prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. We take our African Grey parrot there for nail and beak trimmings. They also have boarding that we use when we're out of town. Sydney (our bird) is always excited when we take her to the store.
