We didn't know really what to expect when we showed up.Met the owner who was honest as we paid too much so he brought us the money he owed us. You get what you pay for. A whole day of fishing and laughs! Definitely plan on coming out again!

We watched a catfish tournament the first time we went out. It was awesomeThen we went back to fish for ourselves! I love it! I'm definitely hooked. I landed my biggest fish ever so far 16.3 lbs. I have enjoyed catching these fish more than anything!We have returned many times since its been a whole family activity! dave and candy are great!!

If you fish during their hours of operation, they have a bait store with most anything you would need including tackle. There are nets and scales on-site for use, so don't worry about bringing your own. I have taken my son twice and each time we caught between 6 and 8 catfish ranging from 5lbs to 12lbs. Nightcrawlers were the most effective for us. Everyone else that was fishing was super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend as a day trip with the kids. There is also a small playground as well as fire pits for use.

Nice clean pond. I like the fact that you could just pull up and fish at any time. Your allowed to cook just about anywhere. You could camp there as well for a small price. There's also a kids jungle gym to keep the kids away...lol It wasn't to crowded on Father's day. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just bring your bait or use bluegills right out of the pond...

Great family place for great fishing and to just relax. It's always clean around the lake and grounds and also Everyone I've ran into was really nice, that is from the owners to the people that come there. The tournament's are ran with great professionalism and far standards.. "I witnessed them being far where a guy hooked a fish by the fish's fin and they wouldn't let it count on weight." They definitely follow there rules. To also mention I've had 30 pound test line broke there with ease!😊 I can't wait to go back..

Hello I stayed at catfish acres on 6 5 23 the cabin was adequate for sleeping and dinning fully electric the fishingxwasfantastic all grounds are clean I would recommend staying to anyone great time relaxing.

It was peacefully and we enjoyed spending the weekend there, we didn't catch any catfish( maybe wrong bait?) I did catch a bluegill very small one......

I'm in a wheelchair, but it so much fun for me. They have a lot set up and I can be s part of it.It so good to be out doors and fishing . We was there more than one night and lots of outstanding day fishing. How can you saygood things about that good fishing there. But go.

We went on a Saturday night for the catfish tournament and even though it rained half the time, we had so much fun. The staff is extremely nice and so very helpful. They have great prices on bait and snacks. They even have covered benches. My husband caught 2 small catfish but someone else caught a 31 pounder. The best part is that our first time and we won the big prize, a beautiful, new shotgun. So much fun and made me friends. We can't wait to do it again...

Absolutely love the tournament fishing. I always look forward to the big holiday tournaments and it is worth the 8 hour drive from saint louis mo. Very competitive,everyone is so friendly and the fish always bite.if you're looking for a good fishing spot with a great family/competitive environment then this is the place for you.

My twin brother and I was at catfish acres today July 23, 2021 and I can say for a fact we caught plenty of catfish. And even though we didn’t win the tournament, we had a blast. Just wish we could have caught one of those 40-60 pounders lol 😉 This place is well worth the money that you pay.

Absolutely sucked. No electricity, no tackle, no jars, no jackpots. We traveled 250 miles. I don't think I could not have been more disappointed. No tickets for a souvenir even. The baithouse was closing when we got there. He said it was last call lmfao. But the website says open 24 hours. We talked to them on the phone Wednesday then we traveled the first 190 miles. Tried to call all day Thursday and never got a answer. Now I know why. Don't waste your time and money with this so called paylake.

Me and my oldest son are heavy into catfishing,we always have had to go hours south to find catfishing lakes good enough to catch nice sized fish.This was one of our best experiences going fishing for catfish in michigan and we both look forward to going back as much as we can.thanks for providing us with a fun and exciting place to make some fishing memories.first time I've caught over 30 cats in 7 hrs.100% recommend this place to family and friends.thank you catfish acres.

Just got home from a 2 half hour drive back.I stayed two days, and had no problems what so ever! It was a little hot, but after jumping In saints Joseph lake, or beach RT down the road! I found it really better way to stay cool though out the day! Their is a Guy called dave, and "He will tell you the best way, and easiest way to catch, and he their tournaments are awesome Great action Friday, and Saturdays. 5 star if your into a real camping and fishing get away, "Even to go, and just have a great time, and little of no cost"Must check out Hillsdale fairgrounds early, and the Litchfield bait shop. Really awesome down to earth ppl. Checkout their YouTube video and check it out!

Great place to catch a different variety of catfish and other fish, this place holds huge channel cats, flathead, and blue catfish, biggest fish in there is a 75+ lb Flathead
