I have been buying patterns from the Winfield collection for 17 years now. I've never had a problem with the company, and when I call they're all very sweet people that I talk to. If you have a problem not making a project I don't see how you can blame this company. I think it's a great company!

I orderedbthe color vinyl posters and spent so much money and time making the caroler family. Only to have the edge sealer not last 24 hours and the vinyl is cracking and peeling after one week outside under a covered porch. To say I'm furious is an understatement. And I've emailed them atleast 6 times with no response. I called first and was told to email them which I did.

Very poor customer service! Ordered this online about 2 weeks ago. Never received any email confirmations. After receiving nothing in the mail I called. I was told it was just mailed the past Friday and shipped first class mail. First class mail from Michigan to Indiana is usually about 3 days. However it has been 5 days since shipping and still do not have! The customer service person told me to allow 14 days for shipping, after it took them almost 2 weeks to ship the item!!! Nothing on the website states to allow a month to receive your order. The customer service person told me that if I want my items faster in the future to call them in......WHAT!

DO NOT BUY THE PLANS AND KITS FOR THE FERRIS WHEEL unless you have extremely good woodworking skills and have a full wood shop with all the specialized equipment that a carpenter would have in his shop. The tolerances for cutting and assembly are very exacting. Any small variance with cutting or assembly will cause the ferris wheel to not work. This should be clearly called out in the listing online and in the catalog. After spending several hundreds of dollars on plans, the motor kit, the parts kit, carbon paper, lumber, screws, paint, brushes, painter's tape etc,. and spending hundreds of hours on this project, I am left with a ferris wheel that will not work. It is a huge disappointment and was not necessary had the degree of skill required and machinery required been clearly listed in the description.There is also the additional issue of storage. The directions for assembly that are sent are written in such a way that there is no way to easily disassemble it for storage. It is over 8 feet tall, 6 feet deep, and 3 feed wide. Everything is put together with screws.It was a waste of my time and money and very disappointing.

Great plans but awfully slow. Order placed 12/1 shipped 12/10. No communication or order tracking, I had to call several times to find order status. I was told the first time the order shipped 12/6, I called back on 12/10 and was told order shipped on 12/9 but they were unable to provide tracking information.

Adirondack glider is a very poor design. The seat is so steep that it's like sitting in a wheel barrow, easy to get in, nearly impossible to get out of. I am 5' 9'', when I sit in it my feet don't make contact with the floor. How do you make it swing without your feet touching the floor? I wasted $300 worth of beautiful missouri red cedar on this peice. All I can do is take it apart and try to redesign it .

Do not buy anything from these clowns. I bought the plans for a Adirondack glider. After hours of cutting and assembly I noticed that the parts were not aligning properly. I called and after a few days they reluctanly told me that they made a mistake on the plan. When I asked for my money back they offered me a credit of 15$ on a future purchase. You stink Winfield Collection.

Have ordered plans from Winfield for a couple years now, very satisfied with all the plans and have had great experience with customer service every time I have called to arrange an order. I order from Canada and still receive the order in a very timely fashion .
