I try to go here instead of the big stores because they support our local community. They keep the place clean and the parking lot and building are also clean. As a linden resident for 20 years these things matter. I've never had a poor experience, the people who help you load your salt and things are always friendly.

Love this store. It's a Hardware store and more. Besides hardware items they always has some interesting things to buy and they have a nice gift shop area where you can pick up some very nice items. Well wort the stop just to look around.

Employees are so nice here, they got all the answers you need, however... None of the girls that work here that I hit on ever give me their phone numbers. It makes ya just wanna punch yourself right directly in the wiener. You know what I mean? Yeah you know what I mean.

I'm giving this review 1 star because the workers there have been nothing but helpful, but when I recently went in there was an older man I believe they said is name was Clyde, he seems to be the manager and he was being extremely rude with the employees who were doing nothing wrong from what i understood. Especially in front of us customers it was unprofessional and I'm sure extremely embarrassing for the employees. I've never had an issue with finding exactly what I need going into this store and the employees have always greeted me with a smile and offered help, it's a shame the person in charge seems to treat them so poorly in front of everyone.

A bit expensive, but the workers are helpful and very friendly and they have a cool section with sauces and seasonings. I don't mind spending a few extra dollars and supporting local stores.

I have always liked going to local Ace and True Value hardware stores over the big box and Village Ace has been very helpful. The staff have been knowledgeable with suggestions on alternative solutions to help keep costs down, find out of stock items, and do a bit of research to find parts even if not in their store.They make it worthwhile spending a little more at times to have personal, personable service.

We stop in often for projects, big and small. The shelves are always well-stocked and the staff is very helpful. They also have great gifts! Go see Pat for all of your plant and paint needs! Ace is the place!

I’m not one to write reviews at all..but I figured the person helped me for sure deserved this. Everyone there is for sure helpful and amazing, but I had one employee go out of his way to help me and took the time to sit there and help without just blazing to do something else. I believe his name was Josh. He was very helpful, nice, and had me out of there pretty quickly as well. Like I said, all the people there are amazing, but Josh really went above and beyond. Thank you again Josh!

Both employees who helped me today (Collin and Jeff) were friendly and helpful. They helped me order the part I needed and were fast and efficient with it. On past trips I’ve encountered numerous other employees who always have a smile on their face.

People here are great! Don't get me wrong they are very helpful finding me that $10 screw I could get at home depot a few miles down the road for .03 cents. Convience right? Well when you have bankers hours and close before the sun even goes down it makes it tough to come here. I am going on 4 days in a row where I have now missed this place after coming straight from work to get daddy daughtet dance tickets... this place doesn't open until everyone ate their breakfast and sloped the hogs, and they certainly aren't going to be late for dinner which I think is why they close so early. Come on Ace get better hours this is pathetic. You may have "tried" different hours, but at this point it's going to take sometime for others to understand you have longer hours for it to work, BUT it'll work. It's OK to be open later than dinner. People do I'm fact work, I WANT to give you business because you're local. But, you're making it tough!

I love shopping at Village Ace Hardware. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have it in the store (like the birdbath I wanted in the middle of winter), the staff is willing to hop on the computer and help you order it to be delivered to the store (no shipping cost). Whenever I'm in the store multiple salespeople always check to make sure that I'm finding what I need. The store and stock is neat and organized. I always receive great service, the prices are great and it's an overall great store!

They closed the door in my face tonight after they let a guy walk in right in front of me. I believe it was because of how I look. You might say I look like a hippy. But I noticed the guy in the vets hat got in no problem.

Under normal circumstances, they do a pretty good job, although if you want a large selection you may have to go elsewhere. But in the midst of a pandemic, none of the employees were following any kind of recommendations: no masks, working shoulder to shoulder at the checkout...no precautions whatsoever. I don't recommend going there until long after this thing is over.

Built a home 25yrs ago 3/4 of a mile from this store ( you can imagine the money I've spent here ( even before it was ACE) yet after buying a can of paint here for 49$ ( a gallon) I was told by JEFF that he won't re-shake it because it may open. Apparently the big box store in Fenton ( 10 min away) didn't have the issue and we're very glad to help . I'll spend my time and money there from now on
